Best Dark Roller Coaster?
larrygator replied to drewelap's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
X:/No Way Out, a close second Joe - I say yes it is a question because I prefer FoF. Although my favorite dark roller coaster is Voyage at 10PM at night. -

^this is not an appropriate question to clutter up this thread with at this time. Worry about this after the participants for the trips are determined and forums are set up for each particular trip. -

James - I saw the train going up the hill and then stopping, from the parking lot. I took it as a good sign that they even started it up the hill that early in the morning, so I took a chance. -
I would normally say Sunday, but that concert is a real intangible and could bring large crowds. Sorry, but I don't think the Friday Season Pass Holder Day will lessen the crowds on Saturday. I would take my chance on Sunday and hope to concert crowd doesn't arrive early in the AM Either way get there 30 minutes before the gates open and get that Gold Flash Pass since you only have one shot in the park and expressed an interest in not missing out on anything

Actually they opened the queue at 10:05 as they were testing with employees and the first train of passengers (with me) left the station by 10:15 and then I got a reride because the GP are too stupid to move to the back of the platform -
Brent Meets Soren!

Is Soren now officially the most popular attraction in Epcot? -
Don't they have a son named Ryan

September is more popular for Corportae Private Events because the parks price them out of reach over the summer when they can make more money from the general admission gate. Also, the parks need less staffing for corp events, ticket sellers not need and they stagger the openings of rides, less restaurants on Corporate Days if necessary, which also fits works better in the off season.

Sorry, but if you didn't complain at Guest Services (or at least send a complaint letter), I have no sympathy for you. Then again complaining at Six Flags Guest Services rarely results in compensation equal to the problem. -

Questions at this time should be vital to one making a decision whether they can go or not as the deposit is refundable for a few months. You are putting your trust in Robb and Elissa hands that they will provide a fun and valuable trip. I don't think there was one person from the UK Trip that wouldn't take a trip with them again, if they had the money. If that is not good enough for anyone too bad, because that's the best assurance you can get from 50 strangers. The sad thing is that it is getting difficult to differentiate from the questions that are jokes and those that are honest. I mean Wes is trying to make ridiculous questions but they really aren't that much worse that what has been asked. Itinerary - The UK Trippers did not find out the exact itinerary for trips (parks, hotels, meals, ERT) until a month before we left. You will not know these details for the 2007 trips until a similar time. Weather - Robb and Elissa can not predict the weather. If you need to know the average temps for a location do a search on the Web. We expected 70 degree farenheit and cloudy when in England and it turned out to be a sunny and a heat wave. Some of the questions being asked are quite good, but should wait to be asked until you know you are on the trip or as we get closer to the trip date. -

^^you might want to wait until you know if you are accepted on the trip first, you have plenty of time to plan. For the record, I found excellent airfare for the UK Tirp in mid-February -
^^^The World Cup monkey chants aren't any worse than St. Johns fans throwing bananas at Patrick Ewing during the Big East Tournament in the early 80's. regarding Casey - not a racist thing but just shows the TPRs will stand up for each other if someone is harassed as exemplified when Casey was spit on in England by some badass "houligan".

S&S Sansei Discussion Thread
larrygator replied to Coaster Joe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If all the rides are made by S&S, I see no reason why the park could not exist as long as S&S exists even with low attendance. Overhead is low for rides that you are already designing and building. -

I'm seriously going to look into it as we get closer, I can't believe the timing. I didn't even think of checking the Pamplona dates until you posted the bullfighting joke. -

There was a stand somewhere between Monstre and the Indoor Coaster that sold Beaver Tails. Just dough thrown into the deep fryer that is shaped like a beaver tail. They top it with fruit or chocolate. It was better than any funnel cake I have ever had. -
