I did similar trip over Labor Day weekend 2001 and went to CP on Saturday, Kings Island on Sunday and Kennywood on Monday. Geauga Lake to Kennywood is much easier drive than Kings Island to Kennywood. Geauga Lake's coasters are average with Dominator being the best of the lot. If you have a season pass you might want to consider only 1/2 a day at Geauga Lake and a day and a 1/2 at CP

Unfortunately SFGAdv has denigrated to a place that a Saturday trip would require the Gold Flash Pass to enjoy everything. I went last Monday and it was not as holiday and it was still packed, SFGAdv is one of the few parks that is not less crowded on Monday holidays. hard to tell when ET and KK will open each day. If you don't get the Flash Pass I would head to Nitro and ride it a couple of times until the line builds and then hit B:TR and then Skull Mountain. Then head along the back of the park along the lake for a quiet walk to Medusa. Then after that you'll be waiting in line for the other major coasters when they open, no way around it without the Flash Pass. Unfortunately El Toro is the slowest moving line ever and exacerbated by all the Flash Pass users.

Whew - As a UK participant, I'm glad you are not running it. Keep in mind that 2006 was one trip (50 spots), this year there are 3 trips (150 spots). I don't think anyone from the UK Trip is planning to go on all 3, maybe Jeff or Derek who frequently travel with R&E anyway and help out. Most of us took a chance spending between $3,000-$4,000 a per person putting our faith in an unproven system. As far as being cliquey R&E had a core of 5-6 people they knew beforehand on the UK trip and many of us newbies to traveling with R&E had similar concerns. R&E did a great thing in creating the exclusive UK Trip message boards and most people got a chance to learn the personalities and quirks of others before the trip. What's to stop a trip from being cliquey if it is all newcomers and in signing up there are ten friends from California, and four mates from the UK, and three couples who know each other from Chicago.

Gurzu - Having season passes will not save you any money, you will still need to pay the full price. Robb and Elissa have to negotiate a group rate with each park so if you are part of the trip they are buying an admission ticket for you. CocaColaBoy - you ask Why Isla Magica? I ask why not? After Coney Beach anyplace is possible.
