  1. I merged these into one thread and left both posts because each contains separate information in addition to the coaster.
  2. Dragon's Fury is much better than "meh". It's one of my Top 20 steel coasters! That ride is so much fun, the best spinning coaster out there and every ride is unique.
  3. As you know TPT has a thread for favorite coasters (you have posted in that thread.) There is also a thread for favorite flat rides. This thread combining one's thoughts on both is not necessary. Thread Locked!
  4. Thanks for resizing with the smaller photos. That truck you passed is unique, at least for this city folk.
  5. Welcome to the site and thanks for the enthusiasm but we rarely allow comparative threads on TPR and I don't really see a need for this one. So I'm locking it
  6. If there a chance of rain ride Alpine Bobsled first, it will not operate in the rain. If you do go to Hoffman's there are plenty of fast food places right outside that park. However, the food stand at Hoffman's does make burgers fresh for you at a fair price. I highly recommend hitting Hoffman's to ride their awesome Lusse Bumper Cars.
  7. ^He might be talking about the particular day TPR would be at Lake Winnie. Logistics prevented Robb from releasing the daily schedule to all of TPR before the tour started.
  8. We all have different tastes whether it be in food, coasters or whatever. I don't know about anyone else, but my first time at Dollywood I tried the cheesesteak and just found it very bland and dry. Next trip I tried the sausage to give the skillet food another chance and just didn't like it. Maybe I'm spoiled by having eaten much better cheesesteaks and sausage, albeit mostly outside of theme parks. Although I have had better cheesesteaks at Great Adventure (Ted's in the Boardwalk area) and at Morey Piers. I even had a better cheesesteak at SFGAm 4 years ago. I've had better sausage at Knoebels and also some of the Jersey Shore parks. Sorry, I just call food as I taste it, I either like it or don't and being that the skillet food was talked up so much ahead of time I was disappointed and thought it was overrated. I'm a food snob. To me it's the same way with any food at an amusement park whether it be pizza or hamburgers. I don't hate Dollywood's skillet food, I just don't think it is that good.
  9. I love Dollywood and found the cinnamon bread to be insanely good. As far as the skillet food - Overrated
  10. ^What he said! Although he says it is a brief list, it covers all the bases in my book. Although The Old Mill has been bastardized, I still think it is worth riding since in is one of the few remaining of it's kind.
  11. ^And then they peck out your eyes. At least they don't poop tabasco sauce into your eye sockets afterwards. That would be worse than salt in a wound!
  12. I moved this to the Games Forum since quite frankly, anyone who has the info you need is more likely to see your request in here.
  13. I still think we should have kept TPDave in the TP Spinning Net a little bit longer.
  14. Shhhhh! Don't tell her fiance!
  15. Please, stop making a new post everytime you have a new question comes to mind if no one has responded since your previous post. All you need to do is edit your previous post. thank you
  16. I noticed that also, the pole has clearly been replaced, as that ornamental ball that Elissa was rubbing against is not part of this pole.
  17. I'd say the "killer" is $280 for someone with no money.
  18. ^I'm pretty sure he means "Vekoma" Erik, who hangs out with the Brits on TPR Trips.
  19. But when you do that when quoting people instead of using the quote button it makes it difficult to read your posts.
  20. Another point to ponder, does Darien Lake even own the stand-up? Is it possible that as part of the park sale, PARC agreed to store it for SF for a set amount of time.
  21. Here is a picture from 2006 of: Hitler Bear
  22. ^thanks for the update, I'll make sure to mark those attractions as closed in the Park Index.
  23. The legacy continues, loved the commentary.
  24. Today I went into this thread to be amused and instead had to read about someone waiting for park brochures and maps to arrive. FML
  25. Divv3k - I might be the Overlord, but you are the Patron Saint of the Park Index. I guess Grizzly Bear and Twister still don't have a proper signs. And for the record, I enjoyed The Ultimate, once we got past the 5-6 minute lift hills.
