Joe - I'll certainly be picking your brain when I start looking into hotels for my add-on after the Europe Tour via rail. I plan on seeking shelter near the major rail stations in Augsburg, Munich, Salzburg, Vienna and Budapest.

Population of Australia = 22 Million Population of Shanghai = 16 Million. I specualte that the circulation within 100 miles radius of Shanghai is probably close to 100 million. For years, China has bulldozed cities and relocated the poorest of people to build factory complexes and power plants so why not amusement parks. Disney characters are known and popular even in China/Asia. Why else would their be knock-off products and theming at other parks? EDIT: Bob beat me to the population comment!

Wow, this completely escaped me that Port Aventura opened this hotel complex and closed Hotel El Paso. The old hotel was very nice, but this place looks amazing. Below is a background of the hotel. ^^ and ^^^ not everyone agrees with you EPCOT Fanboys' irrational love of Epcot. It's not my cup of tea either. "Pointless Dump" might be a little harsh. For quite some time I found Epcot "pointless" and just didn't get it. However, I never found it to be a dump.
