  1. There's a trap door at the bottom of the hill, where if you press the buttons, it opens, and you can get out. I suppose this is also if you don't make enough speed to make it around the loop. And at the bottom of the hill, there is a section with holes in to drain the water. And you don't know how much I want to go on this! I hope they make one at my local park, which is also called Wet 'n' Wild, although it has nothing to do with the chain you are all thinking about ---------------- Now playing: Red Hot Chili Peppers - Minor Thing via FoxyTunes
  2. I'm not classed as an adult, and I have a PDA. Where do I stand? Also I wonder if the management have realised that you can still do work on a normal phone. You've got to love strange advertisement schemes though. ---------------- Now playing: CSS - Let's Make Love And Listen To Death From Above via FoxyTunes
  3. Rat is Dead (Rage) - CSS I saw these on monday at Evolution festival!!! And they were well good!
  4. I been to... England (woo!) Scotland Wales France Spain Majorca Menorca Austria (fave country) Belgium Germany Italy Switzerland Portugal Why would you want to go out of europe!
  5. My dad 'sleepthinks' quite a bit, where you wake up, and you are still half asleep and you think stupid things. Anyway he came into my room, and told me that I had to get up, it was 7am. He went back to sleep as he didn't need to get up. So I got dressed, cleaned and had my breakfast. I looked out of my window and thought that the sun looked really low and everything looked 'gold'. I thought that it was just a beautiful day. Then I realised that there was nobody outside, but I just went on with my routine. I started thinking about the scene in 28 days later, where he wakes up and nobody is there. After finishing breakfast, I looked at the clock, and it said '5:40'. So I just laughed at myself. I felt really awake, and I was dressed, and we were going on a trip into Newcastle (Nearest big city) to collect data for geography, and I knew we were going to have a good day. So I just went on my computer for another hour. When my dad woke up again, apparently he looked at his watch and thought it pointed to 7:00 but it was really '5:20'. Fun times Also, when I was on a skiing holiday, we had the PE teachers 9 year old son staying in our room. We came back from the pub, and got settled in our room. He had been asleep while we were out. Anyway, he started doing pushups in his sleep! I thought that was quite funny seeing as though he was the PE teachers son. And every morning, he would wake up and say something REALLY random, like explaining why the sky is blue and stuff.
  6. Wow, I don't know if anybody else has seen this, but GTA4 has got MASSIVE scores on Metacritic. 99 out of 100 for XBOX360 and 100 out of 100 for PS3. Now this beats Half life 2 which had 96 out of 100. I'm looking forward to this game coming out on PC Xbox360: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/grandtheftauto4 PS3: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps3/grandtheftauto4
  7. I don't think that people have actually read the article properly. You do pick your music before the ride, and listen to it, and during the ride you are recorded on the video camera. From the Maurer Sohne website it looks as if the cars have cameras in the seats. Anyway after the ride you get the chance to edit the video and email it to people. Giving the through put of most roller coasters, I can't see them having enough space to accommodate people at an 'editing station' (i presume it must be some touch screen information point style job) I don't know how this is going to work and I look forward to seeing more information about this.
  8. What's the whole idea of being against this park? All parks need advertising and events to put them on the calender.
  9. The time me and me dad went on a double ring, enclosed pitch black kamikaze through a rock. I think it was the first time I swore in front of my dad, but he didn't hear me because of the rush of the water! I don't think it was all scary though. It was mainly the mix of adrenaline with the thrill of the ride, gave you that 'oh sh*t!!!' feeling. The thing is you can't actually tell it's a kamikaze when you look at it as it is totally in rock. But it's so fun, and a shock when you realise what's happening. It was at a water park in Majorca, called 'Western water park'. It's a brilliantly themed park, where there are cowboys and indians having water fights all over and people chucking 'laundry water' out of windows. Soo good. You can't really see much but here's a picture And here's the park website. http://www.westernpark.com/westernpark/magaluf/ If you are in Majorca, GO TO THIS WATERPARK!
  10. Friend Called Fred - [spunge]
  11. See file description! Well, yes, it's VERY cluttered. I usually leave it until it's full, then I put everything in a folder on the desktop and start again. The picture is of the Civic Centre in Newcastle, UK. But it's obviously photoshopped slightly... No fancy docks for me though, I've tried them, and I just end up getting sick of them. I use my desktop a lot more than most people.
  12. Meds - Placebo Really getting into Placebo lately. It's quite different to all my other music.
  13. Lazy rivers are really fun to relax on, as other people have stated in this thread. And not everybody can ride/ will ride a waterslide, but almost everybody can enjoy a lazy river, as proven by my 82 year old nana. ^ Most waterparks won't let you wear sunglasses on rides, BUT you can get UV protective swimming goggles, which they will let you wear. I used to have a pair. But before wearing them, I would do the smart thing and get them checked out by your optometrist to see if he/she approves of them.
  14. The banking on that corner looks insane! And I love the trains, nice plain lap bar seats. I prefer really simple trains from elaborate designs. It makes you focus more on the ride than the way you are sitting. And lap bars always give you that thrill of 'insecurity'. Looks like this is going to be a really good ride.
  15. My computer just did one of those really primitive system bleeps. Bad computer.
  16. ^Lol Juno Exchange - Massive Attack
  17. I swear if I ever go on a top spin I will be sick. Violently. But fire effects should be well cool.
  18. I wish somebody would do that with me... Chris "I'm unloved!" Crowder
  19. Makes me sort of glad I can't drive and don't have to put up with this sort of thing. But at the end of July, I am going to have to start paying full fare bus prices which for me will be about £3 a day ( or 6USD) when pensioners get free bus travel anywhere in the country, unlimited! It's not fair, I use buses more...

  21. Yeah earlier on in the thread, there was a link to pictures on the coasterdom website, and I thought that the watermarking was a bit, dodgy. Anyway onto the puzzle. Nantimi lives on seems likely, although as Nantimi has been used before, I don't think they would use it again. It's a bit 'too' obvious. Infact I think the whole lettering thins is a bit too obvious. It might just be a distraction for something else. Saying that, I haven't thought or seen anything else, so I really don't know. Just more food for thought. Edit: Just seen the above post. Wow that really clarifies things... I've used threshold filters before and I didn't think of it to 'crack' these pictures. Thats really clever, well done!
  22. Nice report. Now somebody needs to send me $1000+ so I can get over there and ride it myself. It looks like a good coaster, but there dosn't really seem to be anything 'special' about it. It just looks like another hyper to me.
  23. Hey, if you check out this website, there are thousands of tips on saving money, not just days out either. Everything from mobile phones to theme parks to food shopping. If you look under the days out (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=80) section of the forum, there is a lot of stuff people have submitted on saving money on days out. This is a UK site, so unfortunatly, unless you are coming to the UK, I doubt this site will be much help to anybody living outside the uk. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/ Edit: Just found this... http://www.kelloggs.co.uk/whatson/zoo/ZooFinder-Midlands.aspx Apparently Kelloggs are doing 2 for 1 offers on kids cereals. Now on this website, it says for 'Drayton Manor Zoo' but apparently they are both at the same place, and people have used the vouchers there and worked. So I would check out a large supermarket, they will get bigger stock intake so more likely to get the vouchers, and see if they are still on the boxes. I'm not 100% sure if they will work, but for the savings it's worth a try. Hope I helped.
  24. Very nice camera! So how much did that set you back then? And do you do any particular type of photography? Or do you just take pictures of everything? I got a Fujifilm S5700 for Christmas. And it's a good camera, especially for only £100 (200USD), it has manual control, x10 optical zoom and it's very comfortable to use. Anyway it's a good camera, but i'm a terrible photographer. So i'm looking for a night class in beginner photography after my exams. Hopefully i'll be able to get good.
  25. ^Should be clever enough to know i'm not 17 V Should also sign up on the organ donor list.
