  1. Here is a new one for me. I lost my Season's Pass while at Cedar Point, I think it fell out of my pocket (we were leaving the park) while I was sitting on the wood fence in the parking lot, waiting for pickup. I wasn't able to find it, so the next day, the great guy at Group sales gives me a free ticket, and later that day, he reprinted my pass for free! It's been about a week and a half since then, and today I got a letter from Cedar Point! In it was the Season's Pass that I had lost and had been replaced! I thought that they would have dismissed it now that they have reprinted it, but I guess not. Great job Cedar Point!
  2. I have one of Millennium Force, thats all. I find that alot of roller coaster shirts are either too bright or eyecatching, or they are just bad t-shirts.
  3. I was wondering, did you ride slammer, I want to hear another person tell what it felt like on it. I thought it was awesome, I love how the restraints are all that keep you in while you are almost upside down. Other than that, I really liked your trip report. That "Emerging from the bushes" picture was awesome
  4. ^^^ Is that even a real song? My favourite is definately Run to the Hills.
  5. ^^ Thats awesome! Good thing they finally got it running, I'm sure many people would have gone home angry if they didn't get it open today.
  6. Scooby Doo's Spooky Coaster! JZ knows what I'm talking about
  7. ^^ Skyhawk was down a bit near the end of the day Monday, and on Tuesday. I watched it finish a cycle, when they cleared the line and started inspecting the line.
  8. Mystery Castle looks great! My favourite is the Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror. The random cycles on it are awesome. Not to mention the fact that you are only attached by a seatbelt.
  9. Maverick's first drop in the back seat. I felt like I was gonna fly out of my seat. It was drop airtime to the max!
  10. Corndogs from the Corral - Cedar Point
  11. I thought Monday was calling for severe storms...? They are here, anyway, and usually whatever we get, Ohio gets about twice as worse. Nah, the forcast for Sandusky was scattered Thunderstorms Sat/Sun, Monday was supposed to be sunny. That's pretty much how it ended up. Monday was cold, but sunny. Saturday it poured on the drive down, but nice in the evening. Sunday was cloudy, and started to rain mid-late afternoon. It was supposed to rain our whole trip. It rained for about 10 minutes on Sunday and that's about it. The rest of the trip it was super sunny (I got sunburns to prove it), so don't be too sure about the forecast.
  12. Wow... When I was there, somebody had puked on Vortex too. I got that seat right after they cleaned it because nobody else wanted it
  13. I was there for 4 days, and it must have just opened yesterday. I hadn't seen anyone working on it throughout my trip. Odd that when it opens, it crashes.
  14. Mean Streak, fun, but you can't hold your hands up or else you flying everywhere will HURT. Blue streak, make sure that your restraint isn't too tight because there is lots of smooth, fun airtime. I prefer Blue Streak alot more than Mean Streak, regardless of ride length.
  15. Like you, I couldn't stand the second half of Mantis. I got headbanged really badly. Man I wish I had stayed past 6:00 on Monday when all the schools left. I had been going for 3 days straight, and I could barely stand up. I was also there on Tuesday. The ERT in the morning was alot less busy, I was able to get first train on Millennium Force and then at about 9:30 get two front seat walk-ons on Maverick. I really like the photos you got, I think that they're alot better than mine (they'll be up soon)
  16. I definitely agree with the comment about how great the Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster was. The dispatch time was great. Also at Movie World Australia - Even though Superman: Escape was a walk on at most times in the day, the ride ops were still sending trains out super quickly. - At the entrance for Superman, the park employees were really great, joking around and making us do "The Rain Dance" before we could enter -It was raining part of the day, and each time it did, Superman would close. As soon as the rain stopped, they would start the ride again, almost immediately Cedar Point -I found that the park was really clean, and yes, I noticed the amount of garbage cans (sadly, no recycling) -Today, they had TTD up and running right at 10:00 - All of the ride crews were really friendly - During morning ERT, the MF crew was really prompt with getting the... test dummies? off the cars and getting the line moving - I think almost every coaster was running all of their trains
  17. I'm playing CS: Source at a pretty high level, and I would be calling in my choppers at Call of Duty 4 if my computer would ever let my xbox connect. Silly connection sharing!
  18. Try to change the topic so it is a bit more descriptive. You make it sound like the park has been closed/in the making for 25 years
  19. The steeper the drop, the greater. I'm sorry for being excited about a ride
  20. Wonderland: Someone puked on a coaster (I forget which one, but I rode it after) and it took them 20 minutes to clean it up and get the ride running again. Luckily, we were near the front of the line, and nobody wanted those seats, so we snagged em'
  21. That first drop looks just like this coaster called Afterburn at Wonder Island and rcdb.com considers it to be an inversion. But rcdb.com doesnt say how many degrees it is. To be honest i didnt even know S&S built this coaster until now. That, that is my new favorite roller coaster Steel Hawg, what a bad name for a ride that is going to be so great.
  22. These pictures are not mine, I just made Motivators (demotivators ) of them. You can make your own at despair.com btw This one, I don't know if it's funny, but I like it! This happens alot to me I thought this one was really cute, I felt bad making that caption
  23. The Fratellis - Chealsea Dagger (believe me, everyone has heard this)
  24. ^^ Well since I will be flying there on friday I will tell you. Sandusky is about halfway between Toledo and Cleveland We are flying into Cleveland, and it (according to google maps) is about 1 hour and 20 minutes to Cedar Point. I'm not sure about the time from Toledo though
