http://www.canadaswonderland.com/attractions/category.cfm?ac_id=23 I noticed that the rides such as Top Gun, Tomb Raider, and The Italian Job have been renamed? Is there any reason for this?

PhotoBoothe's 2008 Australia Trip Report!

I was at Movie World the day after new year's day. January 2nd. It was the worst weather the gold coast had in 18 years, and the day we went it cleared up. Went on superman 6 times (0 minute wait for everything ) The Scooby-Doo coaster was really really fun. It had the longest line of all (15 minutes is sooooo long) of them because it was indoors. Wet'n'Wild the next day was super busy The stunt show was awesome. The guy with the whistle was there for us too. This little kid was annoying him so he played mind games with him. It was hilarious. Did the cop guy ask the fixed actor to "Take off that ugly hat" and he takes off the cop guy's hat? -

^ I was there over Christmas break and man, it was funny watching all these people flip. All the slides had like hour lines. The 8 lane racer only had like a 5 minute line, so me and my friend did it like 19 times. Black hole does the same thing (at a lower speed, however). I don't have any pics, but I canned myself on his head. edit* hmm why do I have to enable my signature? I enabled it in my profile settings... -

I'm sure that once everything is running smoothly, the scenery has grown, and the park has built a few more rides, it will be awesome. But think about it, wouldn't it be hard to make a music themed park? A dark ride where guitars would come and hit you? It just doesn't work. Makes it hard to make themed rides. Don't diss it yet -

I think it's going to SFGA. There are still so many other parks that it COuLd be going to, but sfga is the best bet. -

I really like the Tower of Terror in Disneyworld. The random cycles and comfort are great. I also like the Batwing Spaceshot at Movie World in Australia -

Cool, thanks. I do have to consider the extra 3 hours on friday. Though we will have ERT time, I still think that may change something. I think we are staying at Castaway Bay, so maybe we can take saturday off, like you suggested

What is the best Rollercoaster in the World???
signal replied to martinb's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My favourite is Superman: Escape at Movie World in Australia. 2nd is Colossus at Thorpe Park, followed by Nemesis Inferno. I also really like the Bat at Canada's wonderland. Havn't been on many as you can probably tell, but I'm going to cedar point this year. -
I am trying to plan a trip to Cedar Point, but my parents can't decide whether to leave on a Thursday and get a Friday-Monday trip or to Leave Friday and get a Saturday-Tuesday Trip. The thursday is May 15th, and the friday is May 16th. If we were looking at lines and their sizes on Maverick, TTD, and MF, which days would be best to go. Its a 6 hour trip to get to Cedar Point by plane by the way.

No way that came from a disney ride. -
If you have time, go to Orlando, but if you only have 2-3 days, you should probably go to California. We went to Disneyland right after September 11th, when people were scared to fly. We were there for 5 days. We had the best time. If you go during the weekdays, the park will be relatively empty. Also, staying at the grand Californian with downtown disney adjacent to it is really nice. Orlando has everything that California has, plus more. Although it has The huge size and the water parks, it can get stressful trying to navigate between parks and trying to get onto the big rides at times. Try planning your trip so that you hit the big rides first, then maybe doing some 30 minute rides. Also, Disneyland at night on a weekday... its beautiful. The fountains in the street glimmer HArd to say, but California in my opinion is everything in a smaller package, and since everything is right next door to most of the hotels, I would say California
