Journey and Def Leppard were both great Saturday night. I'll try and post the few pics I got from the show. Friday night was Huey Lewis and the News. They were great as well. I know I'm old, be quiet all you young wipper snappers!

Come on down to the Carolinas. North Carolina is the fastest growing Latino/Mexican population in the US!!! Nice pics... Reminded me of this horrible zoo we went into in Mexico. The lioness was starving (really) the other animals were in dirty nasty pens. The aligators were in really nasty water. It was depressing. I love animals and hate to see them done that way. Needless to say I couldn't muster taking pictures of most of it. Here are a few I took, but you can't tell much from them. This was a zoo in the neighborhood we were in (very poor neighborhood). Yo. Makes me wonder if we'll see any of this on the Dollywood coaster. Can't wait to ride my first Euro fighter. Who knew I'd ever be excited about a Gerstlauer coaster.

A girl in our party blacked out on Batman at SFOG. It was very scary, her head was flopping around and such for several seconds. She could have been seriously hurt. She has vertigo. Why in the world she went to an amusement park is beyond me. I grey out on Face/Off sitting backwards through the first inversion. So I always sit the other direction now.

There were rumors of a lawsuit. I actually got to see one of the designers talk about the ride at Carowinds 2 years ago (he works for Carowinds now). For some reason I can't recall what he said happened, but I think he confirmed that there was a lawsuit envolved. Someone from Charlotte will correct me if I'm wrong.

It was amazing how fast we got offers from lawyers when we were in our accident back in 97 I think it was. These guys give lawyers a bad name.

I thought this day didn't exist on the trip. Something about a black hole engulfing that park or something.

The heavier ones are a lot harder to snap and get going. Plus if you're a heavier person that hurts as well. Little kids can snap a lot easier than adults. I've seen it at Carowinds so many times.

^ Funny thing is that after I learned to hold my head back during the ride and hold my head to one side or the other depending on what inversion I was going into... the ride wasn't half bad. I don't ride something I hate and I used to ride this a lot when it was still there. But I know the design was poor and as a result beat up a lot of people. But in their defense they did always say "keep your head back against the headrest".

I thought they were taking Flight of fear apart. That's what the dippin dots guy told the security guy that told this very reliable source I know that knows a person that knows a person that knows a person that heard that.

^ I know. The arrogance of asking a simple question to the coaster community. I feel bad for the guy, I hope this has't scared him off. This is one of the things I hate about the coaster community. Everybody assumes that everyone else in the world knows everything about coasters and heaven forbid if you ask a question that's already been asked before. Oh no! GLOW IN THE DARK ARROW TRAINS! BEST TRAINS EVER!! I think the reason Drachenfire got this cult following is the fact that the internet was really coming into it's own about the time Drachenfire started it's SBNO session. Then all these people that never rode it were like IF ONLY I HAD RIDDEN THIS AWESOME COASTER!!! While I'll admit Drachenfire will probably be in my top 5 arrow loopers of all time, it certainly doesn't deserve all the aclaim it's gotten over the years. It was rough, but what arrow looper isn't (that has corkscrews). I mean come on, it's an arrow.

So is this Graham from ThrillNetwork fame, or is it another Graham (insert random Star Wars comment) There is another.... Just curious, of course TN is down or I would check myself. Nice TR. I wish I was only 7 hours away from maintenance mountain. Oh wait, no I don't.
