  1. Well then, throw in some Canuck Candy for him and he'll probably love you foreverrrrrrrr! Anything by Neilsen is good I hear - Areo, Mr. Big, Caramilk, Coffee Crisp, Crispy Crunch......
  2. ^ Kool Erik, you have the 30th Birthday WDW Space Mountain pin (w/Stitch) there on your lanyard. Very colorful pin it is, hmmm? I have that pin also, it's one of my faves, and was wondering whether Sean/DS had that one in his collection? Do you Sean? (EDIT: BTW - the 'personalized note pads' I get from a good TON of charity organziations; animal, people, health... they all send me notepads, with of course, the 'obligatory' donation envelope, etc. It's a pain sometimes, getting so many... but then, like with your pkg. a sheet or two helps out, lol. Glad you got the pins ok, BTW, too.)
  3. Thanks Soren. But it's very unlikely that we'll even get a ticket to any of the events, based on "past experiences seen" - meaning, opening and closing ceremonies tix will be (as usual) expensive and of course, the good seats will be Uber Expensive and probably gone before we even think about going. Then, one has to sort-of figure out where the hot events would be, hmm? Sports Premonitions I am not very good at, lol. Neither me nor David ski, snowboard, skate, or most anything to do with winter sports, except watching them, heh heh. So taking in anything up at Whistler will be unlikely for us. We'll be watching the TV, like most all of you will be. And the way the city will go about doing it's (ahem) 'clean up' etc... Hmmm. For two weeks' worth of ultra-expensive events that hardly any locals will go to, unelss they have a (let's see here) HIGH 5-figure salary, (or more?) I really don't know if this is worth it or not. Honestly? I would rather we held another Worlds Fair, lol. At least then, the whole world can still be involved, and we can all get to participate, with the (usual) six-month stay for it. And there probably would be another brand-new c-o-a-s-t-e-r involved onsite, too, hmm? One of the Good Things out of this tho, we'll finally get our rapid transit extended to the Airport in time for the Games! Which will help for (ahem) "Future TPR World Touring" heh heh.
  4. So um, Erik, buddy-friend-online confidant..... you are buying these pins and collecting them, too? Thought I'd ask, heh heh.
  5. ^ Yeah, I just saw the new Skyway PofH pins being offered on eBay, too. Already a couple of them are going (so far) for over $20... and the darned thing isn't available until (practically at) the end of March, hmm? Bleah. I am so glad I have last year's collection, before it "caught on," since it's more than likely I won't be able to pick up Series II w/o paying thru the proverbial nose for each pin, y'now? I got the first one of this current series, The Tiki Room in January. That was easy and still is to obtain. But - Haunted Mansion (#2) sort of Blew It All Up Out of Proportion, as far as I'm concerned. Hmmmph.
  6. HELOOOOOOO!!! Shameless. Um - then again...... yoooo hooo! (EDIT: And ^ yes you did woah - I remember somebody here asking about you and your sis being twins, and you said yes...?)
  7. Yeah, that was pretty fast, how all that happened there. There he was, yelling in Italian I am assuming - then poof! Whisked away, and after that IOC guy had 'perfectly paused' for the whole thing to happen... Just continued on with his speech! Very bizarre.
  8. Hmmm. It's looking like orange is this year's....... pink??? Eh, Tatsu? Thanks for sharing the pix. It's looking great, there.
  9. Ah yes - I've seen it done with... bears, too. shudders Definite Spin & Spew there, gois.
  10. Careless Whisper...
  11. tastes like.... licking a tree? And um, just how many....uh..... well, you know.....trees have you.... uh.... Just sharing wierd (but unique tru) love, peeps. (EDIT: Actually, we're near the end of a nice somewhat respectable bottle of Sumac Ridge 2004 Private Reserve GEWURZTRAMINER white wine. )
  12. I am giving props to Alpengeist, just because - in that list, it is "The First of It's Kind" to extend themeing beyond what has (usually) been done with SLCs, up to The Alp. Hmmm? I really think that's what it is, and the others have all followed, upping the design and quality of what the thing IS intended for, but working a good theme design in what the GP now sees, and appreciate that, too.... IMhO (SCARY EDIT: That was the 53rd vote in this poll - and guess what year I was born, and what I turn this coming (3rd) month, end of? Scary wierd and f-ed up, indeed LOL!)
  13. ^3^ Awful color-combo, too, tsk tsk. Makes me think of Disneyland 50th Anny Souvenir Clothing, lol. All that's missing is the 'ears' somewhere there. Wait, what's there, over by..... Hmmmm.... (EDIT: Yankee Face here beat me to the ^'s...)
  14. Noted, heh heh. ~Bill "I don't own one, either" Nrthwnd ~ ~ ~
  15. Double post - grrrrrr.... Just listened. Wow! Excellent podcast, Robb! (shamelessPLUGhere) Um, did it ever occur, to maybe suggest, a possible live feed podcast, from the first-ever TPR UK Tour? Just a suggestion. Great podcast, again. That SFMM PR woman was awesome. She was as much enthused about the general thing about theme parks and rides, as much as you guys were, which was great! And she fit in excellently with you three, as to giving good information and offering nice fresh comentary on particular focus. Do it again, Do it again, Robb! (Run down to DLR, heh heh heh.)
  16. It also seems like everybody in this website, has claimed to be banned from either a park, or a website (or a radio show) at one time or 'nother. Even from this site, OMG.... You may continue your ride. Mmmm'k?
  17. Sure, yes. Do you keep count, and check on your posting count, at other sites?
  18. ^ Was it only a Canadian candy/cookie, tho? Or is it/was it ever sold in the States as well as here?
  19. Yeah - he looks stoned. Nuff said, hmm? (Good outdoor shots, guys. And was that a cherry blossom tree or something that gave up all that 'snow' around Gavin and Bud?)
  20. I didn't watch the Games as much as I thought i was going to - but i was so happy and proud of Canada's medal count; the largest so far, from any winter Olympics for Canada, beating Salt Lake count, by seven medals. Closing ceremonies looked great - back here at home, we were all hoping nothing would 'go wrong' with the flag handover to Mayor Sullivan, and his specially-designed 'flag carrier', heh heh. That was great to see.... And honestly? I thought one of the most ironic things about this year, was the proverbial kick in the nuts to the the Cdn. Hockey team. This group had been PRed to the hilt here in Canada. And even tho (mainly) the women were landing medals left right and center, The News of The Day was always The Men's Hockey Team... I think our media here is as much to blame, as the team is, for thinking an all-NHL team will win it every Olypmics. 'Nuff said on this tragedy. Maybe they'll really go back to the true spirit of 'amateur sport', hmm? ~ ~ ~ ~ And now - Back to EARRRRRRRRL! (EDIT: And yes, CONGRATS to SWEDEN on the Gold in Men's Hockey! )
  21. First of all, in the last pic up ^ there in the TR, it's to the left of the PayDay candy bar. With the blue-like wrapper, square and all? That's the Moon Pie. Off the wrapper it says, "The Only One on The Planet." It also boasts, "The original marshmallow sandwich."... Mmm, maybe on both. But I believe it's actually that old "play on words," as MP is not the "only one" etc. etc. It's only the Only Moon Pie on the Planet, lol. Anyway... Basically it's a 'sandwich' of three layers of graham cracker cookie, the thinnest layer in the middle. Marshamallow in two layers surrounding the middle graham. Then, all covered in chocolate. Yum, huh? I do know that there's a similar type cookie-sandwich called Wagon Wheel that's sold up here in Canada. Maybe it's a Canuck thing? Or do they sell them too, in the States. Anybody? And - I remember hearing that Moon Pie came up with, at one time, a banana flavored marshamallow version of same..... hmmm? It probably was the first marshmallow sandwich invented, etc. Hmmm? MP is sold mainly in the midwest, and south eastern states, so a lot of US west coast peeps and pretty well all Canadians haven't heard of it. I only have, because I used to travel a lot around the eastern seaboard, and as far south as FL. And the midwest, of course. But in it's form as it is - definitely not the "only one" on this planet, now, lol. ~ Hope that helps. ~
  22. Yes, I caught it, Mike. Silly man.
  23. Weston? To me, Wes usually = Wesley. Hmm. Never knew that. Or remembered it, I forget which, LOL! We do have a Weston Bakery that produces snack crackers and a very nice (grin) Stoned Wheat Thin..... Go figger, huh?
  24. Breathless The Corrs
  25. I know some of you guys like to collect maps of parks. Here's the newest one of my park, Playland, here in Vancouver. Pretty 'basic rectangle,' huh? Yeah. Me, too. The whole thing needs a good ripping up, and buying the old stadium space that was/is next door, and turning the landscape into a really nice park-like setting for the flat rides, etc. Do't be fooled. The "green spaces" there are just coloring. They have trees in giant pots on the asphalt for themeing..... anyway. Oh, and the corkscrew used in the "Final Destination 3" movie? - There it is, in the back there. Enjoy. Here it is - light blue means kiddie rides. Whee.
