  1. I applaud your take on the "Fried Chicken franchise", available there.
  2. ^ For one week? Only one week?
  3. Darnit. Another touring show has dropped out of our "current schedule" that being 2020/21. We were supposed to see Jesus Christ: Superstar at the end of October, but now it's not to be. And the funny/wierd thing is, they didn't cancel altogether, but BUMPED it up to one year+ from now! So now we're seeing it Oct.25-31st....2021. Usually it's where the Wed.performance falls, for us to see anything. So now "the 2020/21 'Broadway Over Canada Season' is now extended to the Fall of 2021." And now we only have two shows of the original season to see....we hope. "Anastasia" in January and "Hamilton" by late June. And then "Superstar", end of October.
  4. Apparently it's National French Fry Day, today up here in Canada. Pair fries with A Bur-Ger of course! Great example: Vera's Fries!
  5. "Rolling In The Deep" Adele
  6. ^They found her body, it's been already announced. The original cast of GLEE sure got kind of cursed, in a way. Not that the newer members of the last seasons of the show, haven't had their own 'stuff' to deal with. i.e. Melissa Benoist, on her sexual assault from another (then) cast member. Still, I send healing thoughts out to Naya's family and friends.
  7. "Let It Ride" Bachman SYMPHONIC Orchestra A performance with a symphony orchestra, yes!
  8. ^ Works for me, LOL! Good stuff. Looking forward to more.
  9. Great TR of your " Entire Three Day Trip", Mike! Including this 3rd day you spent there. Enjoyed how detailed you were about everything, running...and not.
  10. Too far away for us. But good for them.
  11. ^ "Prepare to ride the storm" That does about sum it all up, LOL.
  12. Sinéad O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2U
  13. So - much - swag, Bert! Very impressed with everything you bought over there. So - many - fridge magnets! And thank you again for my fridge magnet! And the other great stuff you sent me.
  14. Night shot of lighting (test?) on The Beast's Castle. Thanks to tdrexplorer.com for the photo. And....aren't CRANES Good Luck in Japan? (o; (It's to the left of the castle.)
  15. It's never too late, to enjoy a good breakfast...which I just did!
  16. Playland Opens This Weekend ~ But know before you go... Here's the link to all the info. one needs for going to Playland this month. The park is open only weekends (Fri-Sun) for now, and only this month is listed with the current schedule. https://www.pne.ca/playland2020/ But, most importantly, you MUST BUY TICKETS ONLINE. There are no ticket sales at the booths, at the front gate of the park. And - each day is divided into two four-hour time slots for visiting: 10:30am-2:30pm and 3:30-7:30pm. I also found this rule, which applies to those of you with bags (incl.myself) to carry or wear on your back, etc... The ride selection (12 of them) is mainly for families with small kids, but their two smaller coasters (of the three in Playland) will be open, and those can be ridden by adults/teenagers as well as children. Their current plans are to open with this ride selection at first, and then add more rides (including eventually, I hope, Coaster) in phases, in August. ~~~~~~~~~* Ann those who already have current Season Passes? They are not being honored for the season, but they will be credited towards 2021's Season Passes. And, for the current months it is open, they are offering two free day tickets to the park. That totals nearly $60 for two visits. The free tickets can also be saved for next month and Sept. Which is what I intend to do with mine. Save them until there are more "bigger rides" open, including Coaster. And, if you need to buy an awesome Playland Mask, which Season Passholders do not get with their free tix, they are charging $8 for both sizes - $10 for gp, after the gp receive one free mask with their day ticket. (Emails to current Passholders were already sent out, explaining all of the above, and more.) And BY THE WAY - if anyone out there is planning to go to Playland in the next few weeks, I'd sure like to hear about how your visit went. NOTE: Ticket Booths will NOT be open. Tickets must be bought online. And THIS is what I want to get back to, too! Good old White Spot with awesome burgers, fries & shakes. (o:
  17. You got the PENGUINS!! I love Japanese capsule machine stuff. And that table-ful of your acquired 'stuff' along the way..... awesome, Bert! It looks like a lot of great things, especially those things you intend to actually use in your life, which will of course, constantly remind you of the trip, lol. p.s There was a CAT, possible? That's sooooo Japan.
  18. "Watermelon Sugar" Harry Styles
  19. ^ If the vaccine works, we will still never be back to the way we were, before. IMhO. This is not a quick thing, by any means. I don't expect us to be (mostly) "out of the woods" until...maybe....two years from now? Just saying.
  20. ^ Absolute love it. Fini. Bawk. (Honestly, I skimmed through it. But then, that's what I've usually done with the Hamilton cast CD. So...?)
  21. ^ And as well... Nick Cordero. 41. Broadway actor and husband/father. A casualty of Co-Vid 19. I put it in the Musicals thread, but he deserves to be mentioned here, too. And here's the link to his great performance on the TONYs, when he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, in the musical production of "Bullets Over Broadway". And he was in the musical "A Bronx Tale" as well.
  22. All things considered, we're doing alright, right now.
  23. ^ That's great! Would be nice if that kind of thing (tax cuts) was applied over at other parks, for admissions and food etc, in other countries.
