  1. I have no idea if The Ultimate in Lightwater Valley Park is really one of the longest coasters, ever... But it sure as heck felt that way, lol. And there's a lot of what I call "country coasters" in Japan, meaning they go on and on and on with no inversions or anything particularly exciting. But that's a big list. The lift hill of The Ultimate. Which goes on and on and on and... (TPR 2010 UK Tour)
  2. True. The person below me likes bubble gum.
  3. Wow, that's a nice first drop tunnel.
  4. True. And it's Worlds of Fun, hmm? The person below me has to been to a park, overseas.
  5. Unanswered question: Do mice throw up?
  6. ^ Three things on the label, that do not fit together, in my head.... - the word "Belgium" - the US parks ranger hat (it does look like one) - the word "India" How did it taste, Chuck?
  7. V This one I put up when it's time for New Years. Daisy and Donald, dancing under the Mickey lamp post. It's a bottle topper (with straw) I picked up in Tokyo Disneyland in June 2013, during their 30th Anniversary year. And it's a New Years Kind-of-Moment, to me. Kept here in the thread for posterity, and before I change it into something else, lol.
  8. If it coasts, I ride it. And if it's powered...I still ride it. (I'm at 'that age' of needing to fit in as many coasters {as I can still ride} in my life, lol.) And it was a powered coaster too.
  9. What? No EPCOT? I am kid-ding. Great report, and wow, you got to do everything you wanted to do. Better than I could ever do on a day's visit, with a parks hopper.
  10. ^ That is so strange to see, in the middle of the N.Seattle neighborhoods. Even I had no idea it was there, and I used to visit Seattle at least twice a month. But then, I guess I never visited that area of the city, and wasn't a coaster geek then, or I know I would have already found these signs.
  11. You're in Canada! (o; Great photos all round, by the way. Mooooooose!
  12. 75 days remaining...
  13. "Let the Midnight Special - shine it's light on me."
  14. Love the park - been there twice. T-shirt looks great!
  15. This is so wierd, even for us. It's not that chilly outside, and it definitely looks like an early spring morning, etc. Not the end of December. At least, for where we are. Having snow is hit or miss, over here. But the temp.still drops pretty low, most winters. Not today, apparently. Photos attached. The other side of our block. Note all that green? From our front porch, looking to downtown Vancouver. And...note the palm tree behind the fir? Yep, it's real. Over where a pizzeria and other friends live. Fresh off of street cleaning, too!
  16. Happy Birthday, Adam! And many thanks for all the TPR reporting you do, past, present, and (hopefully) future.
  17. Last Christmas (2013) actually. For some reason, we never bought any this season, and we didn't seem to miss it. And none of the parties we went to this month had any egg nog to drink! Go figure. When was the last time you had a slice of a two-layered cake? Like this. Red velvet cake; orange cream center filling; bubblegum over-all frosting!
  18. Villa Volta looks wonderful with all that snow on it!
  19. Enjoy the present, and don't stress out about an unknown future.
  20. Love the set up HKDL has, for a FROZEN Meet and Greet in the park. Looks nice. And Olaf's there, too! Not a lot involved, but it still looks nice. Photo from HKDL Main Street Gazette.com
  21. ^^ April 8th for us getting the show, can't come soon enough.
  22. Looks like they're in with the holiday spirit for you pass holders. Very nice of them to extend the expire date.
  23. ...and a Happy Boxing Day today, as well. (It started in the UK, when the richer class would package or "box" up old toys, clothing, extra food, etc. and leave the box on the front entry step for any of the poor to come and pick it up. It then became an extra day's holiday, later on.)
  24. ...Because there is a nationwide lack of flat land in the US. (I had to say it.) Bada-Bing!
