  1. ^ I need you as my (future) travel agent, LOL! A memory of Sept.2016's last visit.
  2. ^ LOL thanks for the advice (not). But - I just bought the passes a few hours ago. (See above post) That's okay. For Knott's we're probably getting a one day pass through the Hotel, (visiting on Friday), and then getting two of the (hopeful) WCB tickets for Knott's (fingers crossed).
  3. The Lost Boys "Nearly" there or "Almost" there?
  4. Darnit. I just put two park hopper 4-day passes into a "cart" (for buying later) just a couple of days ago, and today the total just went up $50. If I'd bought them earlier, could've saved that extra money. Oh well. Life happens. And I just bit the proverbial bullet, and bought them, now.
  5. It's always a great collection of photos you post at this time, Martin! 'Bout time you got a front page listing. Happy New Year!
  6. Another construction photo, posted by HK Main Street Gazette at the end of December. Thankyou! The section being built.
  7. ^ From that popcorn cart photo, it's nice to see that a single box of the popcorn has only increased by 50 Yen. From the time I was last there I'm pretty sure it was 300 Yen, in 2013.
  8. ^ Cool. Nice to know, thanks.
  9. ^ I am curious at how they did the other entry/exit from Tomorrowland into Downtown Disney? Not many of all the Disney parks do this, one exception being EPCOT. But mostly, you always enter and exit any Disney park from the front of it. And it looks like Disney will be providing another alternate entry/exit when the Magic Springs Hotel is built and open, with access to TDS from it, and to the monorail (Bayside Station!) that encompasses the Resort. That asked, awesome TR on Happy Valley Shanghai and Shanghai Disneyland....and Shanghai, too! Lots of great photos taken that you posted. Thanks for sharing them!
  10. ^ Just found them listed and bought one of each, lol! And... an interesting "find" (to me), I have also purchased. I have collected the odd face washcloth from theme parks through the years, including Tokyo Disney Resort. But what I found interesting about this one, is that in the top right hand corner, there is 2 sky ride buckets.... of the skyride that closed in 1998, now over 20 years ago! So, I bought one for the nostalgia of it, LOL. P.S. The other interesting thing about this facecloth, was that the only reference made to DisneySea, was one of the two Mickeys on the reverse side of the cloth. With the hat on. That's his TDS uniform, from recent celebrations. I totally forgot TDL had a sky ride! It was the third one, after WDW and Disneyland's version. Now, all of them gone. )o: The "saying" that edges both sides, says "It all started in 1983 ~ and will continue beyond ---- " (I think).
  11. "Clothes Off" Ria Mae
  12. ^Maybe the ice (ahem) "coasted off"? All that ice makes me sooooo glad we visited that park in the early summer, lol. And hey - maybe they could have opened the park up, as "The World's Largest Ice Skating Rink"? Just a suggestion. And thanks for posting those amazing photos! Also, those photos of Arnold's Park look awesome, too! My partner grew up near this park, and we'd visit Arnold's every time we visited with his family, in Iowa and Minnesota. Great little park!
  13. As posted on http://www.tdrexplorer.com - new popcorn flavour in Tokyo DisneySea... Yum? Part of a New Year's Dessert Plate at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. This one's for you, Elissa! (o:
  14. ^ Congrats on finishing it! Any thoughts on how you're planning to display it? And for today.... January 3 – National Chocolate Covered Cherry Day. Yum!
  15. "I Can't Go Back" Samantha Barks from the current Broadway Musical.... Score by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance!
  16. Great TR Chuck...but...what the heck is Larry's t-shirt all about? "Reunion" of...what? Who? Where? When, I already know. And I too, wish that more parks had some kind of museum in them. It's a really nice way to learn more about the park, cool off, rest a bit, etc etc.
  17. A lovely way to start 2019! Me and David have just returned from a nice French dinner, at our fave French restaurant on The Drive (close to us by a few walking blocks). Spent over $150 for the two of us (Cdn), but it was so worth it, especially with those Absinthe cocktails! I go there once a month for my monthly "hit" of French Cuisine, but sometimes David joins me, too. It's awesome! http://www.bistroabsinthe.com/
  18. "Hot Tonight" Tokyo Police Club
  19. Bob Einstein a/k/a Super Dave Osborne. Also the brother of Albert Brooks. "Stewart Robert "Bob" Einstein was an American actor, comedy writer and producer, who was best known for creating and performing the satirical stuntman character Super Dave Osborne. Einstein was also known for his roles as Marty Funkhouser in Curb Your Enthusiasm and Larry Middleman on Arrested Development."
  20. ^ Hope no idiot tears off that paper sign. But in the mean time.... Happy New Year, Dollywood!
