  1. ^ I've seen two tours of the show that includes that closing act number, and it still thrills me to see and hear it! Besides that, the new 2019-2020 Season of "Broadway Across Canada" shows is being emailed to it's subscribers on Thursday. I am pretty sure, we're going to get three, like before. And supposedly Dear Evan Hansen is to be one of them. Am hoping it is. And we still have Come From Away to see in March. Seeing it March 6th, to be exact. (o;
  2. Can't wait to ride this when we're back in Amsterdam (& Paris), in 2022. And Lost Gravity, too.
  3. ^ Hmmm. Nope. I have always looked around our house and into the backyard, wondering if I could build some kind of Mad Mouse in it. Stay tuned.
  4. ^ IMhO the Boomerang at Six Flags Mexico, is/was waaaay better than a lot of the others around the world.
  5. ^ That looks (and the other stuff there) awesome! Our independent theatres here are pretty plain and not as imaginative as that one is. There could be a few out here, but I haven't really looked. Who knows? Maybe in time, I'll check around. As for GLASS, yeah I am thinking we need to see UNBREAKABLE (2000) very soon, as we plan to see GLASS on Thursday. And although I am pretty sure SPLIT (2016) is still fresh in our heads, the first one, not so much. So, we'll rent, we'll watch...then we'll go and see ...... #3.
  6. We just came home from seeing "Mary Poppins Returns" (it was great!), and noticed that they were still filming down the street from us. Part of a film was being shot at the other end of our block. From the look of the cars parked nearby, it definitely looked like this was a 1940's genre movie. And on our notice of the parking restrictions we received a couple of weeks ago, so far, the future movie is titled "The Terror Infamy". That will/could probably change, once they're ready to release it. Here's the late afternoon (but dark) shots I took... EDIT: David just returned from shopping, and found out that it's part of a tv series that's being shot. Ooooooh. From the front of our house, we could see this. With a "Giant Big Bright Ball in Sky" Yep. The cars are a sort-of give away of the time period of this film. Or they're for a 1940's dream sequence. (o; Nice cars, too. All of them. Here's the Big Bright Ball. Behind a solo fake palm tree, lol. Last shot. I think all their main filming was done, earlier.
  7. Golden Wings in Snowfield / 雪域金翅 Happy Valley (Chaoyang, Beijing, China) TPR 2012 China Tour.
  8. ^ I also have to re-watch the film of "Thoroughly Modern Millie" to enjoy Carol again. And Mary and Julie, too. p.s. Mary Tyler Moore is also gone from us, but Julie Andrews still carries on in life.
  9. ^ Honestly, I'm sure that if they offered FastPasses on the app, every attraction with Fastpasses would probably be "sold out" that day, before anyone who doesn't have a cellphone (shock I know, we don't own them), and has to get the paper ones. And with Japan's huge local population, that doesn't even count people visiting from overseas. Which, at WDW, there is a huge number of gp from every where else in the world. In TDLR, we (from overseas countries) are not the majority gp there. I just don't see it happening there in TDLR. IMhO.
  10. Another great musical legend has left us. "Broadway legend Carol Channing died on January 15 at her home in Rancho Mirage, California at the age of 97. The actress won a 1964 Tony Award for originating the role of Dolly Gallagher Levi in Hello, Dolly! She also received a Tony nomination for her turn in The Vamp and had a memorable turn on Broadway in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes." There's a wonderful 2011 documentary out on her, called Carol Channing ~ Larger Than Life which I have, and I highly recommend it. And it was made when she was 90!

  12. Been awhile so.... Here's a couple of new burgers created, and to be sold at Hong Kong Disneyland for the end-of-March opening of the new Tomorrowland attraction, Ant-Man & The Wasp. Take your pick - or try both, along with cutely "reduced" burgers/sliders. Photos from http://www.tdrexplorer.com Thanks! The Ant-Man Burger(s). The red buns look iffy, but that slice of tomato is GI-Normous! The Wasp Burger. Check those onion rings out. SOLD! (o:
  13. With Ant-Man & The Wasp getting ready to open (March 31st), HKDL is getting ready to sell merchandise and food that reflect the attraction's......style.
