  1. ^ No that probably won't be announced till (literally) several years from now. The Corkscrew is actually sitting on the actual "middle section" that will connect the upper current part of Playland, and newly created lower part. The old map below listed every possible new coaster available back then. Which makes it totally incredible, if they actually got every - one - of those coasters, LOL. Very doubtful. But then, who knows between now and then? But for now, they're selling Corkscrew, and then going on from there. Again, the proposed map below is already outdated, as the Wave Swinger has changed into Sea-to-Sky Swinger, Crazy Beach Party is moved, with The Beast in it's place, etc. To add to that, where Corkscrew was, they have on this map a "Driving Track" which I assumed was a driving school type attraction for children. But, it's known they did want to replace Corkscrew with another coaster, around that same spot. So we all wait. And hope. And find out, eventually, in the coming years. In the meantime, here's one of the articles from 2016 that made the announcement of the expansion. https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/pne-playland-redevelopment-vancouver-theme-park In this thread, the whole announcement thing started on page 31. Near the bottom of the page. https://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=45028&start=300 North of that small double row of trees is the New (eventual) Expansion of Playland.
  2. ^ Hahah on that last one! As for peach.....
  3. ^ Noted. Then again, you can easily find any and all of this wild and wierd theming, throughout Japan! I miss Japan.
  4. ^ LOL But... Well, there goes the "family" in Family Coaster. (o;
  5. ^ Um, I am curious as to what the "other flavours" are...? (Too lazy to look it up, for myself.)
  6. "The Newest in Beachwear.....TOWEL~KINI !"
  7. The backwards POV of this is gonna be pretty fun. Especially with "our guy" in back there. And have SourBill's voice making announcements for the "tram tours." (o;
  8. Whatever the rants are/were, about what these past few seasons were like...and especially this final season... We enjoyed it, were pretty sure Dany was going to "get it" after "giving it" to Cersei's Kingdom. And we were happy The Pack Survived, after all that's happened in the seasons before this last one. And Tyrion, too. And that petition to re-write and re-shoot the entire 8th Season, is just dumb. Let those who want it redone, raise their own production funds, and then TRY to agree on what should happen, be done, blah blah blah. EDIT: Now it's out, that one of the Season One Posters, the one with Ned Stark on the Iron Throne, foretold the ending episode all along. I.E. the three-eyed raven on Ned's right = Bran Stark? Who knows? But much fun to read all the OOOHHHHHMMMMYYYGAWWWWD reactions from the rabid fans, lolol.
  9. ^^HA! Great touch to add to the train. He doesn't look too excited about touring either, LOL! p.s. Best - Coaster Train Theming - Ever!
  10. ^ Thanks for posting the list *. A few of the concerts were announced last night on tv news, too. As well, they finally said something on air about Corkscrew leaving, and that it would be "5-10 years" during which the expansion of Playland would start/continue, etc. Also, besides the concerts, all exhibits and attractions for this summer's PNE were announced, too. Here's where to find them.... https://www.pne.ca/exhibits-attractions/ https://www.pne.ca/fair/ *PNE Summer Concert tickets go on sale tomorrow (May 24th). FYI, for those who actually don't know... "PNE" stands for Pacific National Exhibition. (o:
  11. LOL, that cabin queue is pretty livable, I'd say. And yes, it obviously looks like you can't appreciate all of the new stuff they've done, to the sides of the waterway. Depending on how you're spinning and turning, heh. But in your video, I did see several people seeing a few of the animatronics in action. Like that wolf, howling. Great shots and video, thanks for sharing.
  12. Jimmy Neutron's Atomic Flyer Movie Park Germany (Bottrop, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) TPR 2008 Europe Tour.
  13. ^Well, I'd do my best to look at as much theming as I could see (depending which way I was facing/turning). Thanks for your quick review of the attraction!
  14. ^^ That was great! Fun tours, all of them! And that last one (candy!) was totally IP blitzed everywhere! I also think I have that recent Aquaman statue, with "He Who Has A Divided Eyebrow."
  15. Thanks for the heads up, Robb!
  16. ^ Hey I totally appreciate what you and other teachers have to do, to make it more interesting (and fun) for today's students.
  17. That'll be a freaky queue to be in, LOL!
  18. I'm glad that the seating isn't like TRON at WDW. This is more practical for everybody who wants to ride this coaster, but can't ride the TRON one. But I am curious how pairs of people will be seated beside each other? And groups who want to stay together, side by side, etc?
  19. ^ This is a credit I will feel no pain, in not getting. On the other hand, ^^^ THAT looks a-may-ZING! And speaking of water coaster.... RIP Jet Star - Casino Pier. Photo taken in 2013.
  20. ^ You're a very nice teacher to let them do that.
  21. Locked Out of Heaven ~ Bruno Mars
  22. I love it all! The new entry way into Fantasy Springs looks gorgeous! And tdrexplorer.com posted a video Disney created, combining all the concept artwork into a lovely little piece, which shows a lot of Disney characters "built in" to the Springs them self. Like the tree at Animal Kingdom. https://tdrexplorer.com/tokyo-disneysea-fantasy-springs/ Still shot taken from beginning of the video, shows a pretty good deal of space, between Raging Spirits and Flying Carpets, for the Fantasy Springs entrance/exit. IMhO.
  23. ^ It wasn't open at noon, but they were running it during the hour or so I was there, w/o riders. And it certainly wasn't weather-related on Saturday, when it wasn't running. I think they're having technical hiccups for one reason or another. But the rain did pick up later on, after I'd been there. And Playland did tweet, around 2pm I'm guessing... Ah well. Eventually, everything will be up and running, including the Swinger. Eventually.
  24. Here's a photo of the Sea-to-Sky Swinger in Playland(PNE), and it's sign for you, Larry. Hopefully, there will be people riding it, eventually.
  25. I did take a short video, of the Sea-to-Sky Swinger.....uh....swinging. Rough around the edges, but it at least shows the thing in action.... MVI_9090.MOV
