  1. June 3, 2017. The first of many 'rides' on the Surf Lounge. (o;
  2. Dreaming ~ Blondie
  3. Will be cool to see, when it's all lit up in the evenings.
  4. Anaconda Walygator Parc (Maizières-les-Metz, Grand Est, France) A TPR favorite. TPR 2008 Europe Tour.
  5. Little Red Corvette ~ Prince
  6. ^ Well, at least it's going to give the Storm Troopers something else to do, besides walking around, posing for photos, etc. And if what another Disney site posted, this will occur around noon; 4pm; 8pm.... and that's it, for now. Three time periods for (most) everybody to freak out about, lol. Also, this may turn into an unintended "entertainment" from Disney, with others watching (and waiting to enter Edge) the "Herding of the 4-8pm Civilians" etc. LOL!
  7. I think the character I'm feeling the most sympathy for, is Brienne. And "just because"... remember that very first episode of GoT, and where Jamie and Cersei were making out? Looks like the tower "finally came down on them", so-to-speak.
  8. Well now, that's a few more of 'em....dead. I won't list them, since you already know, like myself. Next Sunday's Grand Finale should be interesting. Hopefully, a bit less bloody, but hey. It's Thrones.
  9. ^ Yeah, me too. The fries seem so "incidental" to that sandwich, lol.
  10. Just found a new DisneySea construction photo, posted at http://www.tdrexplorer.com Thanks for it! This is behind (in part) the Bayside Station, which will possibly, I remember reading, have a new entry way to the new themed hotel being built there. This could be part of the hotel itself, with the Peter Pan section (and possibly Tangled beyond that) beyond it, towards DisneySea. Just a guess from me. EDIT: I have the feeling that they're going to put Tangled on the same side as Frozen. And all of Peter Pan will occupy the land beyond the hotel. I keep looking at the concept art, and that main pathway running between Peter Pan and Tangled. It just makes more sense to me, to divide up all that rock work and "mountains" that both areas use. Same with the waterfalls in the concept art. So, my money's on Frozen and Tangled being together on one side of that pathway, and Peter Pan on the other, with the new hotel up at the end of it all. Definitely looks like the hotel they're building. Time will tell. (o: This is what you'll see on your left, when you enter Magic Springs from DS. And this will be on your right, when you enter, between the 'mountains' of Tangled and Peter Pan.
  11. Looks awesome! And I am assuming that slowly, eventually, each vehicle is "on the ground" for unload and load. It will probably take as much time (maybe less?) to unload/load as it does for the regular old ferris wheel. And when I stopped the video in parts, when a vehicle was ground level, another was the same. So with four arms, and two vehicles on each arm, it'll take four times to unload and load them. Easy! And I wish Playland(PNE) got one of these for the park.
  12. Que Sera Sera - Doris Day R.I.P. Doris
  13. For example..... Photo by Alyssa Senft.
  14. And above everything else.... RACLETTE! Unless you're not a big fan of cheese. In the Swiss section of Europa Park, of course! (o:
  15. ^ Her passion for saving animals small and big (horses) is what I remember of Doris Day, too. My fave movie of hers that I remember actually going to see a few times, was "The Glass Bottom Boat." And the ones with Rock Hudson, too. RIP Doris Day
  16. ^^Stay at Hotel Colosseo if you can. An easy walk to the park, and the restaurants are great. The bar is, too. Our Colosseo Hotel room view. TPR 2008 Europe Tour. Along the path, from the hotel to the park. TPR 2010 Europe Tour.
  17. Mother's Day Was A Day, Like Any Other Day.... I thought it was actually more crowded than yesterday, AND way more crowded that Mother's Day last year. I think mothers need to demand more of their spouses and/or kids and NOT go to Playland. IMhO. Unless they really REALLY want to go to Playland. The skies were overcast, ready for some rain by Tuesday (they report), so no mountain views today. But no rain either, so it was alright. P.S. I still keep thinking, that it would be a great idea (and great PR for the PNE/Playland) to go out, buy a few dozen roses, and have a couple of people hand them out to mothers (one per mom) as they come into the park with their families (usually). Actually, for any park to do this, would be really cool. By the way, is there any park that does this? If so, good for them! Surprise? They forgot to add Gladiator, but later did, as I found out, exiting the park. They started with the yellow train, but switched to the purple train an hour so so, later. She looks happy in front. "Dummies. It had to be dummies." Hope 'they' had fun. Ready to drop. "HEY MOM! Thanks for bringing us here!" Bug Whirled's real live "landscaping" is starting to 'green' a bit. Looks "Tim Burton-ish" to me. Double-Double Whee! Whee! No mountains to view, today. )o: Where other flat rides usually show up, during the annual PNE. Last park shot, from the Wheel, viewing downtown Vancouver in the distance.
  18. ^ Thanks, I'll do that!
  19. Great report and photos! The new area looks wonderful! Thanks for covering it all. And as for Dolly..... She can do no wrong.
