3 Six Flags parks up for sale?
Nrthwnd replied to HellboyBegins7492's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Very Very late April Fools. -
^ Thanks for the updates, Larry. And so sorry to read about Mike's passing. But it's great to read that they're going to put one (or more) of his ideas into the rebuild of the Haunted Pretzel. Very cool way to honor him. And for anybody interested in this, like myself, there is a website the park has.... http://www.bushkillpark.com/ ~ although all they have now is the Home Page of the site. So...Bookmark it for the Future!

^ Hmmm. Rumor, Rumor, Rumor. Where's Beetlejuice when you need him? If Screamscape is The Only Site reporting this, at this time..... better wait for more info. If any. -
^ Um....here. https://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=76783 Probably some rot from somebody who's just bored with their life.

Looks impressive. But let's hope nothing causes it/them to suddenly stop and get 'stuck'. That would probably cause a small riot in that part of the station. -

Great car ride! The vehicles are so big and it's really a nice long "country ride". He's overdoing it on the honking a bit, especially back at the station. But hey - that's what the horn's there for. -

^ Actually, I'm not waiting till next Saturday, Opening Day, to see it. I'll probably get back to the park on Wednesday afternoon, and hopefully, see it all completely assembled. And take pix of course! (And anybody else can get over there and take more photos, too!) -

^ Yeah...uh....doesn't Playland have something like that, already? ...Except this only goes up and down, round and round. No tilting, here. -
My BIG Belgian Fries ULTIMATE Burger! I'd put this off for some time. Mainly, because the burgers I've seen in the past, from my Poutine Palace (my term), were usually stacked so high, I couldn't imagine eating them, even with a knife and fork. Much less wrapping my little mouth around one. But - yay - the new "Ultimate Burger" they're now offering, is a lot easier to handle,...and eat too! I also used one of my filled up BF cards, so $5 was knocked off the total price, which was nice. It's a really really good burger, I must say. So here's the pix to show it.... http://belgianfries.ca/ Where I'm headed. The full menu. Many, many poutines to choose from. And I have tried them all! The Burgers List. I picked the top one, with bacon instead of a sunny side up egg. Waiting for my buzzer to go off. Interior shot. How Commercial Drive looks, from my table. Noted. The kitchen is in there, somewhere. My buzzer tells me it's ready! And ahead of somebody else's order, too! How it all looks. The fries dip is Curry-Chutney mayo. Quite a nice dip. Cute touch. I liked it. And kept it. OMG! Thick, juicy, and no additional condiments needed! More burger than bun! I will definitely get this again. (o:

^^ Well, now that the middle section is up, I don't think it's one of those Wave Blasters. Today's photos show it's really, most likely, another form of swings flat ride. I could be wrong, of course. In any case...definitely a "nautical" theme, lol. Here's the photos I took earlier today... All is still. It went vertical! Could be swings for the thing. View from the main gate. Wings or waves. Take your pick. (o; View from over by Coaster. -

Sad to see the red cottage gone. But other than that, everything is looking great! Thanks for sharing your visit there, Marcus. Reminder of what the Red Cottage looked like. Complete w/front yard, flag pole, & white picket fence! TPR 2014 Scandia Tour. -

^ Well, next week, probably the Thursday. There's a showing in IMAX-3D at.....(gulp) 10AM? Well, at least there probably won't be a crowd of people during that showing. The really early ones usually aren't that crowded, if at all.

Parks people NEED to go to
Nrthwnd replied to RoxasBraveheart's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Well, if you ever get over to the Seattle area (Wild Waves, etc.) be sure to include a drive over the border (we're roughly 3+ hr's drive, incl.the border, from SEA), and check out Playland(PNE), w/Coaster and a great flat rides lineup, including an intense StarFlyer, The Beast w/two seating directions to choose from (!), and such. http://www.pne.ca Just suggesting. p.s. And of course in the Portland/Oregon area, there's Oaks Amusement Park, and Enchanted Forest, two really great parks, with great rides and attractions! The Beast at night.
