Whoops. I don't know you, so I just assumed it would be an embarrassing story. Since we're talking about other weird non-broken-bone stories... When I was 16 my friends and I used to like filming homemade movies. We were filming this "horror" movie called "The Stalker Movie" about an unknown stalker that is killing us off one-by-one. We were in the 2nd-to-last scene where I'm the only one left and the stalker catches up to me in the woods and kills me. We were using a real knife and someone (probably me) decided we needed to take the cover off. Then the stabbing part looked too unrealistic, so my friend suggested she'd stab the knife into the ground and it would look more realistic. Well I'm sure by now you know what's coming... our plan didn't work, and my friend actually stabbed me. I remember it felt like she punched my arm, and I was about to say, "I guess let's do another take..." when I heard her saying, "Oh my God, oh my God, I stabbed you! Oh my God!" And I look down and sure enough, there was a stab wound in my arm near my elbow. We were up in the forest and I knew we had to at least walk back down, and I didn't know how bad the wound was, so I just clamped my hand down over my elbow and went down the mountain. I ended up having to have stitches inside and out, but it could have been a lot worse than it was. My friend immediately deleted the scene the actual stabbing, and for a while we lied about how I really got hurt. Now, just really wish she hadn't recorded over the scene, because it would make an epic Youtube video! I thought the whole thing was really funny, but my friend was traumatized. She said she could feel the knife going into my arm and stop when it hit my bone. She wouldn't touch any knives for a long long time.

I really hope so, I want to visit SFDK, SFMM, CGA, SCBB, and SWSD this year and maybe a few small parks, but since finances are always an issue, I'll be extremely happy if I even get to go to half of those! In the last week, have you had to write an essay or paper?

Cool! Which colleges are you planning on visiting? I think thrillgeek pretty much summed it up fairly well. Check out the animal stuff midday when the rides have the biggest lines. I highly recommend at least checking them out! If you like animals, some of the up-charge attractions are really cool too. As for Medusa, I find that the lines are usually best in the last hour or so before closing. Also, I'd wear layers, because the weather in NorCal has been kinda fickle lately. Maybe someone who lives in the Bay Area can confirm how it's been there?

My first thought was that maybe it was supposed to represent track-marks or scars, to represent addicts who shoot up and have to also hide their arms. Well, sounds really neat, and congrats overall!

^Congrats! How did you do it? What was the hardest part? That actually sounds like a really interesting way to simulate addictions! Did anyone get caught with ice and suspended? And what was the marker supposed to simulate? And wouldn't the marker mark just wash off in a day, anyway? I'm really curious to hear more about this assignment!

It builds the anticipation more, I guess! I just hope they didn't already release to us the best songs on the album! I hate when bands do that... you get the CD, and you're like, "The songs I heard before the album came out were the best!" I semi-know what you mean. There was this semi-underground band I really liked and I heard they were supposed to be releasing a new CD soon. This was several years ago and I still don't think they've released the CD! Or maybe they just released it recently? Either way, it took so long that I'm not really into the band anymore!

I'm sorry, but this made me LOL. That's quite a story you have there! But I can imagine, not one you'd like telling in those, "who's had the worst injury?" conversations.

--Broke my left wrist jumping out of a tree when I was 12. I had pet ladybugs and I was trying to grab a high-up leaf that had a lot of aphids, but it didn't work. It sucked because it was summer and I couldn't go swimming. I also missed the annual trip to Waterworld because I got my cast off a few days before the trip, but my mom thought I wasn't ready for it. --When I was 8, I dislocated my right elbow. I was shimmying on the top of our swing-set or something and fell and I think landed on a large wooden board we had been playing with earlier. We did just about everything in that swing-set except use it for swinging properly.

Same as above, but it's a park in an obscure part of the world that you saved up for years to visit, and it's the park's last year in operation. What's worse than getting really sick the day you visit a park and having to ride benches while your friends ride coasters?

Spring break is starting, but SFMM's Spring Break promotional event doesn't start until the following week: Spring Break presented by WONKA® NERDS® Seasonal 3/31 - 4/15 So it will be busy, but not as busy as the the weeks when they are doing their Spring Break stuff. I will not be "empty" if that's what you're looking for. Bummer, that hits about the time that myself and some of my friends were thinking of going (during our Spring Break). Plus, we might be forced to go on a weekend. Is Sunday still the best option between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the 13, 14, and 15?

Would fast-passes still be sold during Haunt? From the TRs I've seen, it looks like all the coasters get long lines during that season!

^Another NorCal person, but hasn't ridden Flight Deck at CGA! < It's been a while since she's been on flight deck, will ride it with E1ticket5 if we both end up on a TPR trip to CGA! V Cannot or will not vote in the next election.

I agree with the other 3, not sure about the Air Guitars one. It looks too small to be a ducky.

Only ride open at SFGAdv is Dark Knight (this actually happened to me! It started POURING rain and everything closed except the two indoor coasters. Luckily, we were in NJ another day so we came back the next day when it was rain-free!) What's worse than forgetting to save an important term paper and your computer dies right as you're writing the last sentence?

I can't remember for sure if I've gotten these coasters, but I know I've been to these parks when I was like, 5! If I could, I'd totally want to meet the big man at the above parks or one of the others! Since I can't remember if I got the above credits ever, I want to hit them up at some point just to make sure!

Oh my gosh my hands are sweaty just watching that! I'm a roller skater (used to blade) so I know how hard it is just going down a bumpy hill! I'd be willing to try something like that on a small stretch of track with really low banking/steepness close to the ground. If I was an expert skater like that guy, maybe I'd try more!
