  1. ^ Moping all weekend because he couldn't go to WCB V Is awesome because he/she did get to go
  2. I obsessed over the ducks last time and ended up over-guessing because I convinced myself that there must be another duck, and talked myself into thinking a few specks were ducks ... So this time I'm going to say four ducks.
  3. Funny, I've lived in NorCal my entire life and have never felt an earthquake. Maybe I'm just in the wrong area of NorCal? However, I slept through a few decent ones, apparently.
  4. Yes, just dust pretty much Did you just lose ^this^ game?
  5. Thank you for that. Everything I say is based on observations in my life, and by no means does that necessarily apply to others. Plus, considering that the high school I graduated from had about 400 people (7th-12th) and the entire town has about 5,500 people, things are a lot different here. Gives entire new meaning to the phrase, "he/she's been passed around"... I'll leave it at that. I think what I'm trying to say is that success/failure in relationships in high school and college does not guarantee success/failure in the long run. What does matter, in my opinion, is having fun and making memories, learning stuff, gaining work/career/intellectual/creative/social experience, and figuring out what you want from life.
  6. ^Ooh that's a good one too. I love RED, they're really talented. What I like most about them is their mixture of hard rock, screamed vocals, sung vocals, and orchestral instrumentation. I don't like Innocence & Instinct as much as the other two, but End of Silence is so good. "Already Over" I think is still their most known song. I can't remember if you said you already listened to them, but do you know Disciple? I don't like their older stuff as much (from what I've heard) but Horsehoes & Handgrenades is a really great album!
  7. Not trying to be a hater... yes, I think high school relationships can be beneficial, but not always. Everyone is different. However, I was more trying to offer hope for the people that are disappointed that they haven't found luck so far. If a relationship happens, it happens, but if it doesn't happen, it's nothing to worry about either. Just chill out and try to have fun in the cruel and unusual punishment that is high school!
  8. In that vein.... "My wife told me she thought I was too obsessed with the Monkees. I thought she was joking, and then I saw her face..." War of Change is such a good song! I agree, I think this new album is going to be their best yet! Can't wait!! I really like Courtesy Call too (it was one of the early-release songs for their kickstarter supporters... aka ME!). I've forgotten how soon the new album will be coming out! Also have just been getting into Nine Lashes, since Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch sang with them. They have a new album coming out soon and I'm super pumped about that too!
  9. I saw over 70 wins with a few people. One person has played over 140 times... so he's only won 50% of the time, but played a lot! He must have been on nonstop today since he only had 49 wins and 112 plays when I saw him earlier. I wish there was some way accuracy played into the decision for winner. I have between 75 and 80% win rate (right now I think I have 52 wins in 65 plays), but I don't have the time in my schedule to go on and play for long periods of time, so I don't really think I have a chance.
  10. I find high school relationships to be semi-pointless. IMO, they cause more harm than good. People get all twisted up about them, and even those couples that have "successful" relationships in high school end up breaking up after high school anyway. So many other things to worry about in high school and even college than that! And those guys who are sad that the girls friend-zone them... sooner or later, those girls are going to get sick of being used by the "bad boys" that they generally go after. I've been there, seen many friends that have been there. If you're the guy friend who's always been there through thick and thin, hopefully one day they'll realize that you're the sort of guy they should go after, not the losers who don't care about them. So keep the hope! No one has to be forever alone just because high school/college doesn't produce!
  11. Can't find a picture of it, but when I logged in a bit ago there was a pop-up screen with the prize. It's a wrestler-style belt thing and will be mailed to the person with the most wins. Wondering who has the most wins right now? I'm sure I must be a contender at least, since I've been doing fairly well.
  12. I feel the same way! After the first week or so the few times I have gone on it I wasn't that excited about it. I really think after the "discovery" I started to lose interest too. I couldn't help but think, "I'm only losing because the guy in there doesn't know what he's doing. Noticed that too right and some other funny things after we found that out.
  13. A lot of GP I've talked to are scared of V2. Could be part of the reason.
  14. A few things that really bugged me about the commercials this year: –A lot of the funny ones I've seen on youtube a few days before the Superbowl. It'd be much better if they kept them secret until the actual day. –There were quite a few "normal"-seeming commercials. Like the kind of things you'd see watching regular TV. –Not as many good ones (IMO) this year –Only funny ones were from car companies, drink companies, and Doritos. I know those are big $$ companies, but is there no one else willing to try to put out a decent commercial? I think all of the best ones I remember ATM have already been mentioned, just wanted to put in my 2 cents.
  15. When Alexander Bell invented the telephone he had 3 missed calls from Chuck Norris Chuck Norris doesn't call the wrong number. You answer the wrong phone. Chuck Norris can win a game of Connect Four in only three moves. Did you know Chuck Norris had a role in Star Wars......he was the force. Chuck Norris can capitalize numbers.
  16. ^Wants it to snow more in NorCal so he can go snowmobiling more V Thinks it would be nice to have snow where he/she lives
  17. teleport to Elissa, only to find her kissing a bunch of girls! He quickly realized that this was not the real Elissa but actually a clone built to...
  18. Striped. Spring or Fall?
  19. ^Will be having a lot of fun tomorrow! I want to say it's airing at 3:00 pm VCould care less which team wins.
  20. That's an awesome list and awesome list of things you've checked off! I have yet to make a list, but my list would have a lot of the same things! I've read about that backyard coaster, super intrigued to hear that you got to ride it! You've definitely had a full life so far with more to come! What's your occupation that you manage to do all this? I just hope that I can make enough money in my career someday so that I could take trips all the time like this!
  21. I was kinda shocked to see that, especially after we were arguing against this guy who insisted they were people, and the rest of us didn't believe him. I still think they did that on purpose as a joke, since literally right before that some of us were arguing with this guy that there's no way it could be people inside. If it is people in there the whole time (I'm still not 100% convinced yet), it puts a whole new spin on the announcements. Saw a notice this morning: "Please stand by: Bots are undergoing scheduled lubrication and maintenance. Bot B is also draining an excess fluid buildup. This should only take a moment." I'm sure it will. Either way, I think RA are genius just in the fact that we still don't know what they are and how it works. Plus, I finally watched all of the lab videos and looked at the descriptions of the robots.... I haven't really seen anything that doesn't sound like a joke. "Hurricane Punch Force?" Shells made out of moon dust and uranium? The strength to crush coal into diamonds?
  22. It's amusing. I'm vegetarian (or "pescatarian" to be technical). I think vegan/vegetarian can benefit lots of people health-wise, but it's not for everyone. I choose to be vegetarian for personal preference, not because I think I'm going to make a difference for animals in the long run. I think it's a good idea as long as they don't try to force the museum to stop selling meat. What is always frustrating for me is how many places don't offer vegetarian options, so if PETA can inspire places that normally wouldn't sell vegetarian food to serve it, then I think that's great. But I wouldn't want them to force any place to refuse selling meat, just as I'm unhappy when a place has 0 vegetarian food. Still... kinda a strange combination.
  23. No (I just recently got rid of it). Have you played ro-bros?
  24. I'm half wondering if they did that on purpose because of everything that guy was saying. EDIT: I have no idea what I'm talking about, actually, and I think it'd be best just to wait until someone who knows more can explain.
