  1. Ohhh...this topic gets me going. I do not stand for people that go "excuse me my blah blah blah". Maybe its b/c Im a big girl (not "big", just abnormally tall)...I've been into fights and told them that they will not go past me. I like when SF has some muscle in the front of the line...such as Nitro...and they don't take nobody's nonsense. Maybe Disney should incorporate a beefed up Mickey standing in que entrances or a diesel Minnie that resembles China.
  2. If only they can get George Carlin to be the conductor....
  3. ^Sorry, I thought it was 13....but what the heck, when you go there...just ask them anyway. It is really a cool tour.
  4. Carlsbad Caverns has an was open to the public in the 50s before US Regulations prohibited altering the natural settings of any US Park....therfore, they are unique b/c they are one of the few caverns with an underground lunchroom. http://www.nps.gov/cave/
  5. If you want to do something really neat...take the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. Its a 4 hour tour of the Magic Kingdom and you will go into the Utilidor (sp?)....they will take you backstage in various places in the park. It is a little pricey...but it includes lunch (ya!) a personal tour guide that you can ask virtually any question (I suggest staying away from The Little Mermaid cover "art"). If you go into guest services, they have a brochure on it. Its worth the money for a once in a lifetime type thing.
  6. ^I havent been to Knotts since they replaced the Soap Box Racers with that horrible Surfing coaster and the removal of the optical illusion house/tour....urg. I hope you had time to go on the log flume or the cave mine ride....those are the best and unique to the park.
  7. Done. Thank you Wes....I owe you a big kiss!!!
  8. ^Ya...realized the mistake after the fact...dunno how to change it.
  9. Well...it would be creepy to have a collection.
  10. ^Hahahaha! I guess the second part is what tops the cake.
  11. My questions is...What did you do with the picture after you bought it??
  12. It drives me nuts when I'm online for a ride...the line isn't moving in front of me...I'm not moving....but the people behind me seem to want to move the line. It makes a 10 feet of comfortable space turn into 4.
  13. (Thinks to herself): oh no...this thread could get ugly...I hope I didnt say anything to dumb to be listed on this. Froggelicious (the song) was a wierd thread...I heard it on the Z100 radiostation anyway.
  14. I think the best place that takes the dining plan is in Downtown Disney Wolfgang Puck’s. I forgot what one its called...but its the only one there. The food was excellent and we defiantly ate enough to say that the dining plan was a value. Please keep in mind though...that even though you dont have to tip the waitresses (somebody mentioned that they are no longer encluded, thou)....Disney gives them the rock bottom amount. Also, places that aren't part of Disney get a special rate for the cost of food and the staff gets a tip off that amount (not the price on the menu). I had asked a waitress at the Wolfgang Pucks restaurant b/c I do not like stiffing the wait staff. So if you want to be a nice person and show your appreciation, make sure that you give the wait staff a few extra bucks.
  15. A horrible pic...but a funny story. My brother and I made a bet when we went on Space Mountain...he said they changed the train and I insisted that they didnt. The looser had to eat 5 churros at the same time. To this day...I cant look at another churro w/o having a little bit of vomit in my mouth.
  16. If you can make a long weekend, you have to go to NYC...there is no place like it! Most of the sights are worth it, such as all the different art/history museums, the Empire State Building, the World Trade Memorial...just dont bother with the Statue of Liberty. You can take an Amtrak (www.amtrak.com) Train from most major Cities to NYC or check out Washington DC. Since they are big cities, you really dont need a car...but can get by with buses and trains. NH is a rural area...very pretty and its a great place to be if you like skiing. Or take a trip to Maine, if you like lobster, that is the place to be.
  17. ^Justify however you'd like...but I've seen people that are in your shoes and that they are asked to leave a line (by security) when they try to make there way through b/c it breaks the rules.
  18. ^Its not the TPR's that states what defines line jumping...if you read any park map, they outline what defines line jumping and it says plane as day that someone "holding your place" constitutes line jumping. People think there is this thing called entitlement and the rules dont apply to them. It's kinda like you cant just drive over the speed limit b/c you have someplace to go.
  19. Has anybody been to this event? If it is anything like when they held the season passholders event...it was pretty empty. Here is the link for the flyer to sign up: http://www.sixflags.com/greatAdventure/assets/pdf/08%20Coaster%20Celebration%20[Converted].pdf
  20. I hear you... Although I'm not diabetic, I'm a vegetarian...in which people think that they can impose there own diatary belief on me. I've been a veg for most of my life (since like the age of 12) by choice...I dont make it a big deal at all. I dont let my choice dictate where to eat...I can make do with whats on the menu and dont need to fuss about it. I never throw it in anybody's face. Not only do people drill/quiz/debate me on how balanced my diet is (like most people eat such a balanced diet anyway) then if they move onto drilling me on my beliefs. It is seriously annoying. I could really be an a$$hole and debate them on what they are putting into there mouths and how unhealthy they are. Especially since half the people that debate me have not a clue as to what health "benefits" meat actually are. And compare my diet which includes more of a variety of foods on a daily basis then an entire weeks worth of food on an average meat eater diet. Dont try to shove a hamburger in my mouth and dont try to debate me on my decision. AND WE CAN ALL LIVE FREAKING HAPPY AND PEACEFULLY TOGETHER!!!!!!! (end rant)
  21. When did you go to Casino Pier??? I was just there last weekend and won 350 bucks on the penny slots then took a ride w my dad on the wild mouse. (after having a few vodka gimlets...which turned 2 drinks into 6).
  22. Me (top right) on a rollercoaster.... ride photo.bmp Just kidding...
  23. I remeber the coaster being soooo sllloooowww...it was a great view, but I think the new attractions are much better.
