  1. Thanks for posting the news link. Glad to see them gettin a hyper next year. I might visit for the first time next year.
  2. ^ I hope they don't do that. I really do like TT. I think if anything, they should jus to a major refurb to that section... and continue to do so to all the other areas of the park.
  3. ^ Congrats! Hope you have a great time. I plan on doing it Spring 2010 lol so keep us updated on how it goes for you. I know I'm very interested in hearing about it.
  4. That was a great TR! Glad you liked Dollywood, thats my "home park" lol. Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg are really great places and it has soooo much to offer! It's Tennessee's Panama City.... minus the beach.... and the dominate younger crowd...... and the weather... lol but its close! You look like you had a great time, but there's way more to do so "yall come back now ya hear?!" lol
  5. Great TR! This is right on time! I'm going to Holiday World for my first time Monday, did you get to go to the water park? We plan on enjoying both the water park and theme park.
  6. Hello everyone, A few days ago the 3D version of WDW through Google Earth was released. For those who are unfamiliar with this, here is a link to the website where Ludwig Von Drake and some announcer explain the program and how to download it: WDW Resort in 3D I just wanted to know what yall think about this. I think it's cool and glad they did it, but the only problem I have with it is how slow it is. It takes a moment for the screen to fully show the graphics. Other than that its great to see the resort in 3D! lol
  7. That was a great TR! I'll have to go next time they have one, because I love Dollywood! lol
  8. Oh... I can ride all of that here.... I guess there won't be a trip to SFKK for that. lol
  9. ^ Is that the main carnival rides they have there? I've also thought about going too, but I didn't know if it would be worth it. I love the Space Roller (Top Scan) and I would definitely travel from TN to ride that lol.
  10. NEAT!!!!!! lol, I love Bomb Bay so I know I have to ride something like this one! Hopefully Wet N Wild will pick one up.
  11. Those RIP pics of Kong are really making me sad yall! lol I haven't even rode it either. Hopefully when they replace it, there will be some type of good reference to him.
  12. I think that video looks very similar to the concept art. Its great to have an official word now.
  13. That was a really good video man. Seems like a good roller coaster. BTW I likes the geek shot part lol... didn't know it worked like that.
  14. ^ LOL!!! Last time I went to Disney I saw a big group of people with a "I Survived Expedition Everest" shirt. It's sorta funny to see that when there's a group of people wearing it vs. a couple wearing it.
  15. I was thinking about this the other day. I wanted to start collecting shirts from all the parks I go to and depending on prices I wanted to get roller coaster shirts too. So far I only have: Opryland (Shirt) Orpyland (Sweater) Orpyland Hangman (2 Shirts) Universal Orlando (Shirt)
  16. I probably won't buy it when I go this year, although I'm glad that they have that option now. The lines may not be terribly long normally but on those days when they do get too get too long the QQ would be great.
  17. I've heard that BGA's lines aren't too bad... unless they were talkin about in the off season.
  18. I'm very happy for Six Flags. This is a big step up in themeing from what they normally do.
  19. I'm glad its finally open now! The videos of the show that are on the net look really good so I'll definitely be lookin forward to my next visit! Nice pics!
  20. Hey, I wanted to contribute too. A fellow member, Tyrus Arthur, took some pics of the Grizzly River Rampage now and a course walk through. With his approval I decided to post them so everyone could see the layout. Sorry the pics aren't in order... The right turn after the cave looking from the park path. Leaving the station The latest construction Nearing the end of the cave First turn in the cave nearing the bear's spot Reservoir in the center of the layout Where the mechanical bear once stood Looking back at the entrance of the cave from the middle. Heading towards the rapids Station Looking at the exit of the cave from the outside The back side of the waterfall Leaving the waterfall Station Looking at the entrance from the end of the cave Station Reaching the waterfall Entrance to the cave Approaching the waterfall Station from the outside Reservoir in the center of the layout Exiting the cave and nearing the huge rock in the middle of the riverbed Entering the cave Looking at the entrance from the end of the cave Bumper/Stopper at the end Riverbed Reservoir in the center of the layout
  21. ^ Yep, it went to the Old Indiana Fun Park when it was taken from Opryland... They sat out in the field along with Screamin' Delta Demon, Rock N' Roller Coaster, and Wabash Cannonball. Rock N' Roller Coaster was sold to a Six Flags park and as of June 2006 I think the remains are completely gone now.
  22. Wow, I'm glad I mentioned it! This is great news! Here's my input: I think video podcast are the best and I prefer video anyway, but at the same time there are those who can't watch the podcast. Either way I doesn't matter with me. It would be great to add some humor to the podcast but I think it should be more based on information and news. I would like to see the backstage tours, special events, interviews, etc.
  23. I think that's it's obviously not the audio system... i think there is an issue with the track transfer on the "lift wheel thing" lol.
