  1. I was there too and rode it a few times with cgodsey! I agree The Voyage was very intense saturday night! And now that yall mention it I notice the "pot holes" too. The first on the 3rd hill wasn't as noticeable to me but the second one after the triple down got me EVERY time lol. To be specific, it was right after you cross under the first drop going to the onride photo spot. Regardless The Voyage is still an amazing coaster and definitely in my tops. Godsey is right, HW does a really good job at keeping their rides at their best.
  2. Yea last time I checked in the fall, there was something going on in the middle. I'm sure the removal of it is coming soon.
  3. I hope this works too, but I don't think they should rush to open it this season.
  4. I had to take sum time out to say that last update was fantastic! Thanks for posting!
  5. Glad to see this topic up again. ^^^ Yea that's exactly where Chaos was. That grass area with the office right there is the exact area. That was my favorite ride in the park. I might be staying in the hotel for my mom's Employee Christmas Party I think on the 18th. I'm not sure if I'm going yet, but if I do it would be my first time staying there as far as I can remember lol.
  6. Hey man! Always glad to hear when someone's had a good visit to Dollywood! I really agree TT is definitely a very surprising Arrow coaster. There's so many places to eat there and that's my main reason to continuously go back mulitple times in the year lol. I love eating and Dollywood always satisfies that for me. Hope to read another Dollywood review from ya! So where does Dollywood fit in your top theme parks list?
  7. ^ Freakin A! I'm going this Saturday too! There's no way we can change it to Friday either. BTW I like the TR, DB is comin along great.
  8. ^^ So that post made 10x's more excited for my trip to KI! lol
  9. ^ Yes! Me too! I got an email from them about a month ago and they said they're still interested in building the park.
  10. Ya'll know good and well if they came out with a coaster called the Holy Roller, you would beating down the gates to get in! "Move, I need this credit!" Doesn't sound exciting to me. They should make it a museum and call it a day. Disney it won't be. I did have a good idea for a Christian Horror Dark ride with goes into a Gay Bar playing La Bouche. Oh the Horror! Then it goes into a catholic church and you catch a glimpse of a priest snatching an altar boy into the confessional! Hey let's make it a Sally ride so we can have a shooting gallery where you point crosses at targets. "Oh no, save the guy trying to serve us the koolaid! Save the teens trying to have sex!" Terry Hhhmmmm... interesting concept for the Christian Horror Dark ride. We should definitely submit that to the developers... it might give me a reason to go visit the park lol. From the way they described this place, I don't even know if it could be considered as a theme park at all.
  11. ^ I don't think so... but im not completely sure. At least I'm not the only one who thinks this isn't a good idea. BTW, the only good ride that could come fromt his park would be an awsome hell themed ride lol j/k but there wont be many thrills coming from this park.
  12. For awhile the developers of Bible Park USA have been trying to build their park in middle TN. For those who are unfamiliar with Bible Park heres their official link: http://www.bibleparkusa.com/ After being turned down by the previous county they came to our county. I live in Lebanon, TN and the land behind my job (Roxy Theater) is the land that developers wants. To my surprise, this past friday my theater held a town meeting to announce the approval of the Bible Park. Here are some links to news reports of the approval: Wilson Post (our county's newspaper) http://www.wilsonpost.com/index.p...ask=view&id=541&Itemid=14 Local News Channel (the video shows my manager, Anita Sanders, talking about the positive impact of the park) http://www.fox17.com/newsroom/top_stories/wztv_vid_4298.shtml The Daily News Journal of Rutherford County (a local county) http://dnj.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...919/NEWS01/809190314/-1/ARCHIVE01 I personally don't want the park to come. It doesn't seem like it will make an efficient amount of money that they think it will. I've already noticed from talk around the town that most of our residents think this is going to be a theme park with a lot of biblically themed rides, when it's really going to be a more interactive learning experience tageted for church and field trips. I think the turn out will be similar to Hard Rock Park, meaning people are going to come with a different thought and be disappointed when its not what they thought. Not to mention there is another developer who is looking for land in my county, and a couple other surrounding counties, to build Ole South USA which sounds so much better and is reminiscent of Opryland USA. This is what I'm pushing for! Heres the link: http://www.olesouthusa.com/ What do yall think about this?
  13. Good TR, I live in Wilson County, but I used to live in Nashville and I go to the State Fair every year but it's ran down a little more every year. The Wilson County Fair is really putting our State Fair to shame lol. But besides that I love the Ecstacy! but it makes me soooo sick! lol
  14. This makes me want to take a roadtrip to Orlando soooo bad! lol
  15. No! I wasn't sure if the Break Dance was leaving! I didn't get to ride it but from videos and reviews it sounds like it was the best one out there! I didn't Top Spin on the list... does anyone know if that one is leaving too?
  16. Thanks a lot for this! I just decided to go to KI Oct 10th & 11th with some friends. Sounds like it will be good! I was planning to go to HHN but no one could afford it so viva KI!!! lol
  17. lol Oh man, I love Dollywood's food! lol Have you ever had the Cinnamon Bread? When it's fresh, I can eat the whole thing in no time! lol
  18. I'm so mad it leaving! I haven't been and from the videos on youtube, I've got to get up there before Top Spin and Breakdance are gone! Those up there seem like they operated way more better than ones exsisting anywhere else, especially Top Spin! Love the way they force the flips lol.
  19. Great TR of Dollywood man! Looks like yall had a great time. Did you get to eat any of the food there?!
  20. LOL! I'm like you! I was at work and out shopping (tax free weekend) this whole day and I missed out on all the fun of this post! It very entertaining to read though lol. This has to happen again! lol
  21. ^ Exactly, because they're fine the way they are now IMO.
  22. I really hope the Busch family buys the parks too... It would be sad to see these excellent parks good down because of InBev.
  23. Son of Beast is the roughest coaster I've ever been on! lol I thought The Legened and Voyage were rough... SOB almost put my heart to rest lol.
  24. LOL! This is funny. I agree there is no comparison between the two. It's obvious which park is better. Dollywood is my home park so I'm of course going to go with DWood on this one. I think that HRP has some growing to do just like DWood did.
