^ I replied to ya on that one in the amazing water slides topic. I posted a pic for ya too. It was actually Bomb Bay though... I didn't ride Der Stuka because it just seemed like BB out shined it lol.

^ That was Bomb Bay, Der Stuka was the one beside it (the normal vertical water slide) Bomb Bay at Wet N Wild (This isn't exactly the one at Orlando because Der Stuka would be on right looking at the pic.

Yea Hornet looks amazing! I would love for that to come near Tennessee or maybe in Tennessee lol. That little double up twisting thing looks fun too! Fireball looks good and it might the best air time! But I like Hornet more.

As stated before I happen to think that Bomb Bay the most thrilling and "scary" water slide I've been on. I've done it 3 times and everytime I started gettin a lil scared when it came time for me to get in the missle lol.

lol thats funny! I saw this place and I was like this looks so lame so we passed it up. My girlfriend and I went up there for our senior trip in 06. We stayed in a hotel on the Pigeon Forge strip and it was a blast! I'm trying to get her to go again this summer and we gotta make Mysterious Mansion a priority lol. BTW, did that head turning and talking thing really happen?! lol

lol ok I think I remember the place you are talking about. LRnR? lol I remember riding that as a child with this very uninterested blank look on my face! I did not find any fun in that at all! lol

I also agree that WNW doesn't have the best scenery but they have some really good slides and the waiting time for a lot of them wasn't bad. I only went one time but I had a blast when I went. I really love Bomb Bay and I would definitely hate to see that go. Wouldn't that mean the only existing Bomb Bay would be in Las Vegas? That would be the best if Universal could buy the park and add some themeing to it but somethings telling me that probably won't happen. As for Aquatica, this is my first time hearing about it so I did a lil research to see what is was about and it looks very exciting! I might even have to visit this summer! lol But once again I don't think it would win me over on the "thrill" factor like WNW would. Seeing how close WNW and Aquatica are I say WNW needs to do something to keep some attention! lol

Yea I saw that part about the TL too and I wondered the same thing. I don't think that will happen but who knows they might be able to pull something off. BTW I was pretty young when Opryland exsisted, what exactly is a Cheese Log? lol I remember the huge cookies (my dad worked in the park so I got a few snacks from the park for free lol) but I don't remember the Cheese Logs at all, not to mention what place they came from.

I'm glad that you made this review because I always wondered about those haunted attractions in Gatlinburg. I was about to in Ripley's but one of my cousins backed out at last minute. I plan on visiting some of these this summer because Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg is my summer spot! lol

2007 I visited: WDW Magic Kingdom WDW MGM Studios WDW Animal Kingdom Universal Studios Islands of Adventure Dollywood I think 2007 was the most amusment parks I've ever done... and compared to others on here my list is nothing lol

I remember reading a few months ago on Screamscape about the future of Wet N' Wild Orlando. It seems that they could be closing next year or 2010. I was able to visit it this past summer and it was amazing and I really would hate to see this water park closed. What's up everyone?! My name is Ellyot and I'm a student at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN... not too far from Dollywood. I major in Mechanical Engineering, because I eventually want to design amusement rides or the layouts of roller coaster. My goal/dream in life is to work for Disney as an Imagineer at WDW. I'm 20 right now and I'm just now beginning to travel to different amusement parks. My parents aren't too big on amusement parks so I visit them as frequently as I wanted to. I notice that a few of the members on here have been on some of the roller coaster and amusement park shows on TV I watch like all the time lol. BTW Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, and Food Network happen to be my favorite channels.... Um I can't think of anything else right now but I'll be glad to tell more if anyone wants to know!

I think the very last roller coaster I rode was Space Mountain at WDW Orlando and it was sooo fun lol. I hadn't rode it since 2001 and being able to go back July 2007 felt sooo good! lol

I would consider my home park to be Dollywood and my favorite roller coaster would have to be Thunderhead. Love it love it love it! lol The other two in the park (Mystery Mine & Tennessee Tornado) come in real close too though.

^ lol definitely the biggest mess up! I hate the fact that it's gone... especially my one of my favorite coasters "Chaos" lol. It wasn't the most thrilling but I think if someone finds the right theme and special effects it could be a very good ride everyone would love. BTW I thought I might throw in the fact that I can NEVER find anything to buy at Opry Mills but something to eat at the restaraunts! lol

I think I love it so far... I think it might be worth the visit. I've wanted to go to MOA anyways so this will only make it better and I don't know how but I completely over looked the fact that this has 2 inversions in it lol. I guess it just being a "Spongebob" ride I really didn't expect them to put any inversions. But anyhow I love it so far!

That looks really neat! Haven't payed much attention to this roller coaster since it's been revealed, but it's starting to get my attention now... jus a lil bit lol.

Yea, I also agree that the park would be a better ideal... btw we need more relevant amusement parks in Tennessee. The only one I think we have that's worth anything is Dollywood and Dolly's Splash Country... So this and Ole South Experience/Ole South USA would be two really good ideas.

I think a few weeks ago the website was changed a little. There's not much new on it, just a different layout. Really the only "big" change is the statement "The feasibility study is completed and we are in negotiations with a development partner..." It's still pretty hush hush too... and although I would love for this to happen, I'm not going to get my hopes up.
