  1. http://www.wiscnews.com/portagedailyregister/news/article_87e19bb2-9c0c-11df-92f3-001cc4c002e0.html Wow... WISCONSIN DELLS - A 12-year-old girl was "severely injured" on a Wisconsin Dells amusement park ride called Terminal Velocity when she fell to the ground from at least 40 feet and a net failed to break her fall, Lake Delton police said in a statement Friday. The girl, who is not from Wisconsin, was taken by helicopter to UW Hospital. Terminal Velocity, a free fall thrill ride, is a featured attraction at Extreme World. Owner Bill Anderson said he had "no idea" of the extent of the girl's injuries. UW Hospital spokeswoman Lisa Brunette confirmed MedFlight had returned to Madison by 1:30 p.m. with one injured patient but she didn't provide further details. Lake Delton police also did not provide injury details. Judy Norys, from Woodstock, Ill., was at the scene and heard people screaming. A first responder, Norys began doing CPR on the girl. "There was a little girl on the ground," Norys told reporters. "She wasn't breathing and didn't have a pulse. There was blood coming out of her nose, eyes and mouth." The ride, inspected about one month ago by state regulators, and the amusement park are now closed. An employee of the business read from a statement: "There are no words. We will do whatever police ask of us as they investigate. We are praying for the girl and her family." According to Extreme World's website, the Terminal Velocity platform is 140 feet off the ground and a diver drops 100 feet at speeds up to 52 miles per hour into a double net above the ground. Lake Delton police said in a statement that the girl was released for her free fall but that the net "was not high enough above the ground to completely break the fall and she did hit the ground." The statement said she fell "at least 40 feet to the ground." The minimum age for the ride is 14, but children ages 10 to 14 can dive if a parent or legal guardian is present. The website describes the thrill ride, which was introduced in 2002, this way: "Terminal Velocity is a new and unique thrill ride. It is the only ride in the world that allows you unattached, controlled free fall. The ride begins with an ascent to the top in a special elevator. Once at the top, a staff member activates the descend system and releases you after a short countdown. The free fall is completely without attachments. Airtubes and break suspensions around the double net stop your fall so softly that you feel virtually no impact at all. Upon landing, the entire device is lowered a short distance to the ground." A Sauk County dispatcher said a call on the incident came in at 11:53 a.m. MedFlight was dispatched at about noon. The Lake Delton Police Department, the Sauk County Sheriff's Office and the state Department of Commerce are investigating the incident. Commerce spokesman Tony Hozeny said the ride was last inspected on June 28 and has been inspected every year since at least 2004. There have been no violations or accidents in that time, Hozeny said. "We want to express our sympathy for this person who was injured," Hozeny said. "We've directed the ride be shut down until further notice."
  2. As of now I've only been on Evel Knievel Prowler Thunderhead 1 side of Gwazi They rank in that order from best to least meaning my favorite is Evel Knievel.
  3. I've been on... Georgia Scorcher Iron Wolf Mantis Vortex (Carowinds) And I rank them in that order from best to worst. So my favorite is Georgia Scorcher.
  4. ^^Agreed 100000% about it in Ninja's spot. I'm not to type who likes to hate on any coasters, but Ninja at SFOG is really my all time least favorite coaster ever. I'd tried it in the front, I've tried it in the middle, I've tired it in the front of the last car. Nope, still sucks.
  5. I'm not sure if your quoting me or other people, but if I'm just going to assume your quoting me. If SFMM did remove Scream to give it to another park, I would be happy with that decision. If it usually is a walkon on a Saturday when other coasters at the park have full queues, it's not too popular. If it went to... Six Flags St. Louis, than I'm sure it'd bring in alot of people and would have a pretty full queue most days. But at the same time, keeping it at SFMM isn't costing money, it's not like it's some old Arrow looper that costs alot to maintain. I don't expect SFMM to remove Scream any time soon, but if they decided to, I'd be all for it. And since were on the topic of relocating B&Ms, when SFKK removed Chang, yes I was upset. But only because it was the main attraction at the park, it attracted more people to the park than any other coaster I'm sure. So it made no sense to remove it. Until we learned the park was closing, than it made complete sense to remove it before anything else being the biggest ride.
  6. A SF pass from SFOG, and a CF Platinum Pass from Kings Island. I've been to Holiday World enough times this year to buy two season passes but I still don't have one... I also wanted to get an Indiana Beach one but I don't have money for it. I really need a job to get all 4 passes next year...
  7. I haven't been to SFMM so I haven't ridden Scream, but I see why no one rides it. Same as what CoasterPrince said. With so many other great rides, it doesn't stand out, plus it's location doesn't seem too good being all by it's self. I wasn't a coaster enthusiast when it was built (I was like 10), but looking back at old press-releases and stuff, the ride wasn't too talked about. If it was built at just about any other park, it'd be pretty talked about I'm sure (just look at Chang, it's one of the most talked about coasters right now!) I think they should remove it and put it in one of the smaller Six Flags parks because it would attract alot of people in that area and would be one of the main attractions at any other SF park. But with SFMM trying to get the record for most coasters back, I don't see that happening!
  8. I'm starting to go to atleast one park a week, this week's park was another one new to me- Six Flags St. Louis! I was pretty excited to get to ride Boss, Mr. Freeze, and of course Evel Knievel, but I am SICK of driving on I-70! And to make it worst, I always drive the first part, Indianapolis to Effingham, thats the worst part! Well anyways, this drive was a little more interesting. The night before I left my mom gave me her credit card and ID to go get some McDonald's, I forgot to give it back to her and when we switched drivers I realized I still had it... I called her and let her know and she just told me to not lose it and I could spend some money on it. Kinda hilarious, I got a text from a friend saying NOT to stop in East St. Louis because I'll get shot (he exaggerates alot!) and guess what happens? My friend's car's (we take turns using cars, Worlds of Fun we took mine) muffler starts scraping the road so we had to stop. And we just so happened to be in East St. Louis, we didn't get shot, in fact some drunk man fixed it! After that little incident we were off to the hotel since it was about 9PM. we wouldn't make it in time to SFSTL. Our hotel was kinda near St. Charles. I'm not going to say every little thing that happened on the trip cause that'd be boring, but we got Jack in the Box and went to Walmart that night than woke up at like 7AM. the next morning. I drove from the hotel to Six Flags which was about 40 minutes. We got to the tolls around 9AM. and there wasn't a whole lot of cars. We got a really good parking spot and than waited for the park to open. Mitchell lost his pass so he paid $10 for a new one, and once the park opened, Zach and Aleesha got Six Flags passes since we still have more SF parks to go to. We decided to go to Evel Knievel first than to Mr. Freeze and make our way to Batman (stopping at Boss, Tony Hawk, ect on the way). Mitchell was the only one in our group who has been to SFSTL before so he told us which seats were the best. He said on Evel Knievel to ride the front so we ended up getting the first train, front seat of the day. My first ride on Evel Knievel wasn't too good. Wasn't top 10, I liked Prowler/Thunderhead/Gwazi better. But later on in the day I rode in the back and WOW... I'll explain more later! After EK, we wanted to go to Mr. Freeze since it was a Saturday we expected lines to be long. Nope, we walked straight to the very front seat of Mr. Freeze without waiting a single bit! The launch didn't seem 70mph. Flight of Fear seemed faster. I liked the top hat alot (very intense), and the turn around was very intense. The vertical spike was my favorite part though, not totally sure why. Backwards was even more intense. We got off and Aleesha hated it so Zach got off with her. Me and Mitchell rode again in the very back seat. It was a little rough, but still fun. I liked the front better. Since we were in the area we rode Scooby Doo & The Scary Swamp. Honestly, I can't stand dark rides that you have to shoot stuff, I don't like that all the stuff is cardboard, and I hate how every dark ride is Scooby Doo!!!! I love Monster Mansion at SFOG though. Aleesha wanted to ride Xcalibur and so did I. Mitchell didn't like it his last visit but we got him to ride. I hated it. It was super force-ful, made me really dizzy. Like four seconds after the ride started I closed my eyes for the rest of the ride. I'm never riding one of those again! Boss was our next coaster, and the coaster I was looking the most forward to of the park. The line wasn't too bad, but they only let people on one train until the line started to get long, they let people on the second, but never ran a third even though they easily could of since there was a 40 second period where no train was in the station. I rode in the second to last seat on the train and got 2 great pops of airtime from the big drop than the double down. I got a few small pops of airtime later in the ride, but the high turns were kinda boring, and the ride was extremely rough! I hear the colder it is, the smoother so I can't wait to come back on a cold day and ride! Oh yeah, I HATE this ride's queue line! Tony Hawk's Big Spin was just right down the midway so it was our next credit. I just rode Spinning Dragons the week before and didn't like it, but Mitchell said this one offered a completely different experience even though it's a mirror image. He was right, its one of the most smooth coasters I've ever ridden! It had more spin to it than SD, and even had a moment or two of airtime! I can't wait to get to re-ride this! Screamin' Eagle was the next coaster, it was kinda tricky to find the entrance. I thought I found it cause I saw a sign for it, but the wasn't it.... Anyways, once I finally found the entrance, the line was about 10 minutes. I rode in the front seat of the second car because on old woodies you usually get ejector air there. The train barley makes it down the drop, and it has hardly any airtime at all. The train shuffles as much as Timber Wolf at WoF also! Didn't care for it... I wanted to ride Superman since I LOVE drop towers, but it had a full queue so we didn't ride... We went to Ninja next. I was kinda nervous for it since I've heard how horrible it is. Well in my opinion, those people could not be more wrong. I liked it alot. I rod in the second to last seat just like on all Arrow/Vekoma loopers, and got that amazing airtime on the drop! The loop made my almost grey out and the immelman type inversion was fun. As your coming out of that immelman type inversion, you get the best headchopper EVER... the chain guide. Wow, I've seen tons of POVs but never realized how close the train comes to it. Headchoppers have never fooled me, not even on SFOG's Ninja, but this one did! The rest of the ride wasn't as good but still not too bad! I'd love to re-ride this! We than rode Batman: The Ride which had the longest line of the day, about 15 minutes (great for a Saturday in July!). This one is a mirror image so even the queue line was different. I've ridden SFGAm's which is my favorite Batman but I don't like it's queue too much. I've ridden SFOG's Batman which used to have the best queue line ever until they took out half the stuff, but the actual ride is my least favorite Batman, plus I hate the new colors! The St. Louis one looked the worst to me from photos, but in person I love how it looks! When Georgia's was all black, I didn't like it, but I love it on this one. I rode SFGAm's as yellow and black which was my favorite color for them but now I like all black on them. Wow, anyways about the ride! It was the smoothest out of all of them, but the least intense in my opinion. Georgia's is too intense and always gives me a headahce. Chicago's is pretty smooth and intense, so it's my favorite Batman! The lats credit was Riverking Mine Train. We only had to wait 3 trains and rode in the back car. This was one of the classic mine trains with the super odd layouts. I rate most the other Arrow mine trains I've ridden above Riverking (Adventure Express, Carolina Goldrusher, Dahlonega Mine Train), except I like this one a little bit better than Cedar Creak Mine Train. Since we got all the credits, we wanted to re-ride since it was only 4PM. The park was getting busier and it was in the 100's. We decided we should probably leave since we were all exhausted. But than we decided we wanted to ride Evel Knievel one last time. I was expecting a full queue, well no... The only people in the station were the ride opts! No line at all, so we decided we would marathon for a little bit. I rode in the back and fell in love. Back seat on EK has airtime that made me feel like I was on Voyage! The ride was so out of control and filled with airtime, it made it's way to #5 in my top 10! We ended up only getting to ride 5 times within less than an hour and for some reason we just didn't get back in line and we left the park. I was sad to leave, but I wanted to go home soooo bad. I was exhausted. As we were walking out these girls were giving out tons of candy. I got like 5 bags of Sour Patch Kids and like 10 bags of Swedish Fish! I was glad because than I didn't have to buy any on the way home! When I got home (at about 11PM.) I found out I had to wake up early the next day. I was kinda mad at first until I realized where we (my family and some friends) were going. We wen to White Rock! No one probably knows what that is, but it's this awesome quarry filled with water and you jump off cliffs into the water! They also have ropes, ziplines, scuba, ect.. And it's only 30 minutes from my house! I had no idea Indiana has stuff like this! Now for the photos! SFSTL has very nice landscaping throughout the park, but the best was outside the entrance I liked the entrance The six flags that make Six Flags? Our first ride of the day! Sign I didn't take too many photo of it in the morning, but later the day I took some! How original! Wait... so is this Gotham City, or is Gotham City by Batman? You'd think they would build them next to eachother! Scooby Doo MR. FREEZE! My first up close view of Mr. Freeze A few not too good photos My favorite part I like the new colors much better! I love this ride! As of now, Mr. Freeze is my favorite Premier. I haven't rode Sky Rocket yet though. It wasn't in this area, but we were all cracking up in line for Scooby because of the signs of the villians. Every single one of them was like "____ was last seen (doing something) in the swamp under the moonlight." EVERY single one was doing some strange thing in a swamp under the moonlight... lol I love when parks have these! And SFSTL has two! NEVER AGAIN! Creepy Airtime...? Nope, none here Double helix of Gerstlauer trains Boss is a very beautiful coaster.. too bad its kinda rough... Somewhat overview of that side of the park I took a photo that looks almost the exact same as this only it was Prowler! Wanna see...? Well it looks a little different but still! I hate Boss's logo, it looks like some dumb motorcycle gang logo Ugliest trains ever I like Boss's sign though, much different than the actual logo I don't like when chains do this! Helix! I went through this part sideways, it's weird getting sideways airtime! I all the sudden need gum This little area reminded me of SFGAm alot "Hey guys we finally found it!" "Wait nevermind..." I all the sudden want M&M's Taken from Screamin' Eagle's station Boss being bossy NO airtime The photo everyone takes Low quality photo taken from Screamin' Eagle's station I rode in the red train This eagle looks like it's being choked Didn't get to ride Macro Hurricane Harbor HH again EK from the train. I was on the wrong side of the train so I didn't get the best view Neat fountain Random shot Batman here we come! Actually we went to Ninja first, but I took some shots on the way I have now ridden 7 B&M inverts, this is my 2nd. least favorite but I still love it! Twisted Twins cars I was going to take this shot, not move the camera, and take another when it was on the corkscrew and than edit it to seem like it was just 1 photo, but instead I did... This. SFSTL had random things of water that cooled people off Eh Yum I like these random drink things Queue line Lift hill supports I swear I thought I saw a photo with a car right there More cars Neat view of the park Graffiti stuff *B&M roar* Corkscrew.. Okay so I was on my way to Riverking and walked by this scene. An old man had this hose type thing and was spraying the people with it... I don't know what it was, but it was hilarious! More things that SF has to help keep you cool! I'm still shocked I liked this ride! I still hate the Ninja in Georgia though! Best. Headchopper. Ever. Riverking Future lockers... lol I don't know if I like this shot better... Or this one. Random train I wanna ride! Wtf is that orange thing! Didn't get to ride Colossus lmao! Mitchell being weird EK! This part of the queue is weird Dead man's turn... isn't that what this is called? Kinda blurry Beautiful Alright alot of my photos came out bad I like this view This is a good view also YUM Back seat on this element has good airtime Bye Batman! The arch Mitchell & the arch Zach & St. Louis
  9. The GCI page! Well with the exception of Ravine Flyer II but still..!
  10. Evel Knievel on Saturday. I liked it better than Thunderhead and Prowler. Back seat was the best!
  11. Whats up with rides having accidents lately? Like in 2008 it was people sneaking into fences at Six Flags parks and getting hit by suspended/inverted coasters!
  12. I live all the way in Indianapolis Indiana, and multiple times a day I see Islands of Adventures commercials for Harry Potter. I actually see just as many IoA commercials as I do CP, KI, and HW! I do agree though that they need to advertise the whole entire resort rather than just one single thing at one of the parks.
  13. Hey, I was there too! Prowler was my favorite GCII also, but I've only ridden one side of Gwazi and Thunderhead besides Prowler... It's in my top 10, but only because I've only ridden 36 woodies so far. http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=56088 ^Heres my PTR!
  14. Thank you for all the replies, my PTRs usually never get attention! Cyclone Sams is an indoor trabant. And about the whole Australian stuff, I was wandering why there was a Kangaroo ride in Europe... Kinda random, Cedar Fair should of just made an area themed as Australia... And I figured the landscaping was from before CF. I think I liked Kings Dominion a little more than Worlds of Fun, but Worlds of Fun is my second favorite CF park. (I've been to KI, CP, WoF, MA, KD, & Carowinds.)
  15. Ride count: Prowler: 8 Patriot: 3 Mamba: 2 Boomerang: 1 Detonator: 1 Timber Wolf: 2 Spinning Dragons: 1 Train: 1 One last Boomerang photo Bye Patriot Worlds of Fun skyline
  16. So like just about all my trips, it starts out with me on my way somewhere and getting a text from my friend Zach. I just got my car fixed and he asked if I want to go to Kings Island. I said sure and drove to his house. Once I got there we left for Kings Island. Being a Thursday it was a little busy. We rode... all in about four hours (we got there around 6) Diamondback: 2 Crypt: 1 Beast: 1 Boo Blasters: 1 Racer: 1 Adventure Express: 1 Top Gun: 1 Face/Off: 1 Once we got back home around midnight we decided we want to go to a park the next day and Saturday. We didn't know where though. We considered Michigan's Adventure again, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags St. Louis, Worlds of Fun, and Cedar Point. We didn't decided until the next morning though. We needed a car to use since Zach's car isn't the most reliable and I'm not allowed to drive my car more than 2 hours since it just got fixed and we wouldn't want anything to happen to it. So we called my cousin Mitchell and he didn't answer. I drove to his house and made him take home his girlfriend and come to Zachs. Within a few hours we were back at Zachs and went to sleep. The next morning we woke up around 9AM. We still didn't know where to go. Mitchell said his muffler is going to fall off any mile so we can't use his car. I decided to just ask my dad if I could drive mine. He said yeah so now we had to decide where to go! We all agreed Worlds of Fun since it's new to all of us and only 9 hours away. So it was off to WoF! We left around 11AM. I drove from Indianapolis to Effingham, Illinois. Zach drove from there until St. Charles (West of St. Louis). We stopped and got my favorite food, Jack in the Box! After a quick meal we got back into the car, it was supposed to be Mitchell's turn, but.. my car wouldn't start. I freaked out but we tried again and it started thankfully! I decided I'd drive again. I planned on only driving to Columbia Missouri, but ended up driving the whole entire rest of the way because my brake light came on meaning my brakes are going out. When we got to Independence, Missouri, we got stuck in some traffic. Luckily I-435 was just ahead so it was a matter of minutes until I got out of traffic. I've heard Worlds of Fun has one of the best skylines ever. Well.. so true! Your just driving in the city and you crest a hill than BAM- You see Worlds of Fun! It was storming as we arrived, so nothing was open but we waited through the storm and rode Prowler! Here is what I thought of it: My first ride was in the very back, I thought it'd be best there but I was wrong. The ride doesn't have any airtime in the back seat, but is still an amazing coaster. Very intense and out of control. I seriously think the ride only loses maybe 5mph. from the first drop until the brake run! My next ride was in the very front at night. Wow, the front was so much better! Still didn't have much airtime, but it was more intense. Plus being night, the ride is 10 times better! I love how the lift hill and first hill are lit up and than you drop to the on ride photo which blinds you, than you re-gain your vision and it's all dark! This is a front seat ride, and a night ride! Overall it ranks #6 in my top 10 woodies! After Prowler we went to Mamba where it was closed. We waited about ten minutes than it opened, than we had to wait in the 30 minute queue. I rode in the second row. The front didn't have as much airtime as the back, but the airtime it has was better. And the helix wasn't too intense. Than the next day I rode back, the back had alot more air, but not as good air. The helix was more intense in the back, I actually greyed out. Overall I loved Mamba, I rank it above Diamondback! After Mamba we rode Timber Wolf. I've always heard horrible things about this coaster. I'll admit it was rough, but not to the point where it's hard to ride. I actually liked it. I rode in the second to back both times and got an alright amount of airtime. Not a top 10, not a top 20, but overall an alright woodie! Next was Patriot! I wasn't expecting too much from this B&M invert, but to my surprise, it's now my favorite B&M invert (I've only ridden 2 Batmans, Raptor, Montu, and Afterburn), and ranks as #4 in my top 10 steel! I rode in the front first and the drop was average along with the loop. The Zero-G-roll seemed better than usual, and I love immelmans, the helix was forceful and fun, the hill over the station had a tiny bit of airtime, the corkscrew was taken so smooth and was one of my favorite parts of the ride, the last helix was more forceful than the first, and the transition from the helix to the brake run had a pop of airtime, especially if you sat on the left side of a train. The back wasn't as good, I'll leave it as that. We went back to Prowler and got a night ride, than stopped at Boomerang to get our credit. Maybe I can handle extreme roughness, but I didn't think Boomerang was bad! Not a good coaster, but I didn't hit my head once. Anyways, after that we went to Detonator which was about average. I still don't know why the tower is tall but they stop the actual ride half way... We decided to end out night on Patriot. We ended up having time for another ride. We decided to get Spinning Dragons out of the way since it'd have an even longer line the next day. I didn't like it. It gave me a small headache, and the restraints suck. We got off at about 10:57PM. so we could ride Patriot one last time! What a way to end the night! So now we had a problem... where are we going to sleep...? We knew we'd be sleeping in my car, but we didn't know where. We went to a hotel just across the street. Some how everyone else fell asleep before me even though I didn't go to sleep til' 4AM. the night before, I woke up at 9AM. and drove almost the whole way. About an hour after we parked, I finally fell asleep. Than I heard knocking on my window. It was a security guard. I guess you can't park in parking lots and sleep. So we had to leave. I heard your allowed to park in Walmar parking lots and sleep there so I drove there. Throughout the night I could hear people walk up to my car and park next to me, kinda scary. I'd fall asleep for a while but soon wake up to something. Around 8AM. I saw a security guard walk towards my car. I rolled down the windows and told him we drove from Indy and are going to Worlds of Fun again in a few hours. He said thats cool and somewhat didn't believe that we drove 9 hours for WoF. I showed him my license plate, my lanyard that hangs from my mirror, and a stick on my bumper, that was enough for him to realize I'm a coaster enthusiast and will drive 9 hours on little sleep for a few coasters, than sleep in my car on a humid hot night! He said it's alright if we want to go back to sleep, he was just making sure we weren't doing anything bad. I decided to just go to McDonalds in the parking lot and get some breakfast. After that we went back to Worlds of Fun. By now I pretty much knew the East side of Kansas City pretty well! We got in the park early with out Platinum Passes, but only by 10 minutes, kinda... They let us in at 9:40AM. but we didn't get to ride until 9:55AM. We rode Prowler 5 times with no line at all (the station was empty but we had to walk through the exit and get back in line). We probably could of rode 10 more times before the crowd go to Prowler but we decided to ride other stuff. Mamba was a walkon along with all of Africa. We rode in the back this time. After that we went to Americana and rode Timber Wolf. Patriot had a full queue along with all the other rides in that area. So we rode Skyline to take some photos. After that we rode the train than just walked around and ended up leaving around 1PM. and got home around 10PM. So overall Worlds of Fun was much better than I'd ever think. It was themed pretty nicely for a Cedar Fair park, and had mostly good coasters, plus they had tons of old neat flat rides! I can't wait to go back! Now for the photos...: Here is what I got from Jack in the Box; Curly/normal fry, Sourdough Jack, 2 tacos, and strawberry Fanta! Here is what it looked like as we arrived... yeah not too good! About an hour later the rides opened Prowler... AMAZING Random Boomerang shot Kinda hard to see from the photo, but the sky had that 'heaven' look to it Here is Mamba's station Wow! And I thought Kings Dominion's prices for a drink were expensive! Same vending machine. People in line were naming off the rides but saying they were at Worlds of Fun. Magnum was Mamba, MF was Mamba, Corkscrew was Boomerang, and Raptor was Patriot The last photo of the night, but don't worry tons more on day 2! Hello Worlds of Fun! Just like yesterday, we began our day with Prowler! It was running faster on Saturday! I took this one of random strangers Mitchell took this of me Theres Mitchell giving me a dirty look Fail! Lift hill Kinda fail? Strangers One last fail shot Prowl? Ahh... Prowler! Africa has alot of weird 'trees' like this Africa was probably my favorite area, especially at night because of the Hot Summer Lights I liked Hot Summer Lights better than Starlight Experience at KI & CP, but I hate that it's Snoopy stuff, they should just have it be generic I almost feel like I'm at Busch Gardens Africa! At night, Africa looks even better! Boomerang was alright, but what I liked most about it was the photo ops. Yep... Vekoma Boomerangs... I've ridden Deja Vu at SFOG, Invertigo at KI, Carolina Cobra at Carowinds, and now this Thats all for Boomerang Mamba is in Africa also, must be South Africa because it looks pretty American to me... Even though it's not as themed as the rest of Africa, It's still a great ride! I love Mamba! Scandinavia The park had pretty good landscaping Flying Dutchman was one of many old flat rides Worlds of Fun has The carousal These bridges with misters reminded me of Six Flags Great America Heres the train station Americana Cyclone Sams Americana again Timber Wolf Timber Wolf's queue I don't like red trains on wooden coasters for some reason, too over-used. Thunderhawk was closed I really hope this isn't going to be a Camp Snoopy re-theme to Planet Snoopy! Hopefully It's a whole new Planet Snoopy area with another kiddie coaster! Timber Wolf I tried, I failed, I'll leave it as that. Americana IMMELMAN!!! Thankfully a trim wasn't ever added! Looks like a boat... ♥ Best B&M invert ever! I love this helix Yum Okay I took so many Patriot photos, I'm just going to leave the captions blank on those! Ripcord Err.... I don't like you! I'm going to tilt-shift this later! Hello Prowler! Still don't like you! But I'm sure your brother to the east will be better, everyone I know who has ridden both said Tony is better! Mamba! Hello Kansas City! lol No.. still not interested! 18. First of all, sorry I'm just replying. I've been lazy and haven't felt like updating. Plus I went to Holiday World a few days ago (forgot my camera, so no photos) and Indiana Beach (PTR coming soon!) ------- We woke up the next morning early enough that we were one of the first people to arrive at HW. I wasn't too excited for Splashin' Safari early access/ERT, but it ended up being my favorite part of the whole event! The breakfast was simple, but delicious! I got some cinnamon apple muffins, random fruit, and orange juice, and was on my way to Wildebeest! I was with most of the KICers again, but saw my friend Ted in line for Wildebeest. I ended up getting about 4 rides on it, but only because I only spent maybe 30 minutes at Wildebeest. Adam, the -G people, and I went to Zinga and rode it twice. After that I spend quite some time in Bahari Wave Pool just swimming around having fun. I don't remember what happened next, but I do remember as soon as the water park opened we went to Bakuli and rode it. Right after we got off a raccoon was on the lift hill and fell into the pool. The slide op. made an X with her hands and the slide stopped. The poor little baby raccoon was stuck at the bottom of the pool by a drain and he couldn't swim up. About ten minutes later people with a trashbag came and fished out little Ricky Raccoon out of the pool and put him in a trash bag. It was sad. Anyways, after that incident we met up with the rest of KICentral and went on Bahari River, after that we had a KICentral race on Jungle Racer. We had 2 races, one for the 25+ year olds, and one for the younger people. I won on the young people one! Well honestly, I can't say what we did and when we did it after that, but I do remember the tours and the night ERT. Nothing too interesting to share except we had to leave early during ERT Some KICers about to go on a Voyage! More KICers I think they are on this train somewhere The weather wasn't too good for photo taking during the tours sadly Double helix of laterals! My camera wasn't taking clear photos because of the weather All my previous visits to HW before HWN I loved Legend more than Raven, but as of now I prefer Raven over Legend. CCI track.. yum Random photo of Kevin !!!!! 90º!!! AHhhh! The horrible weather ruined these photos! ZOMG AIRTIME! I suck with captions Yay more Voyage Danielle approved Voyage and all of it's yummy Gravity Group track I approve Voyage as well! Who doesn't approve of Voyage? Well this tree didn't, but we took care of him... Ravage! Nerds! NINETY DEGRESS AGAIN! Weeee I hate writing these captions! I really like this one McFail McNotAsFail McSTFU with those Mc things... I think I took this same photo about seven times I totally don't look like this at all anymore by the way. I look like... http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs063.snc4/34499_1543895563833_1428308126_31496737_2040304_n.jpg this! Yay for the first drop! Random Voyage photo Heres me being an ACEr. And yes, in that fanny pack is gravy. Oodles of it! Here is the only people that rode Pilgrim's Plunge during ERT Thanks for reading!
  19. To the people saying Voyage is un-re-rideable. The front seat of every car is much smoother than the back seat of a car. The front seat of the first car is the most smooth seat on the ride and offers the best airtime IMO. If it's still too rough for you, ride in Ravage. Ravage is smoother, but slower and has less airtime. I prefer the blue train over Ravage because roughness doesn't bother me.
  20. I don't think any Arrow Mine Trains aren't smooth. They have bad transitions, but they are not rough. Maybe it's just the few I've ridden? -Adventure Express -Cedar Creek Mine Ride -Carolina Goldrusher -Dahlonega Mine Train
  21. I've always thought SFMM and SFGAdv lacked flat rides. SFGAdv used to have tons back in the 90's and early 00's. Both parks need a drop tower and maybe an S&S Screamin' Swing or a HUSS Giant Frisbee?
  22. The second photo shows how amazingly steep this is going to be. My 2011 summer trip will be Texas!
