  1. I'm really into cliffdiving because of my love for coasters and thrills.
  2. Honestly, I love TPR,but I think it's got to be one of the worst looking sites I visit. It's too 'early 2000's website-y'. TPR really needs to be modernized. I'd love it if it wasn't so dark.
  3. I really like the looks of DDD! It fits in so perfectly with the rest of the park! I've been going to SFOG every year since Goliath, but haven't gone this year yet, but I will be soon! Thanks for posting this, Robb!
  4. Son Of Beast: I found it to be rough and slow through certain parts, but the height, speed, and intensity made it so thrilling! Plus the loop was amazing when it was there. Iron Wolf: One of my favorite standups, I found it to be smooth and thrilling. Georgia Cyclone: One of my all time favorite coasters! Seriously if there's any coaster that lives up to its name, it's GC! Yeah its rough as hell, but the intensity and airtime is purely amazing! Hurler: I thought it was fairly smooth and had great airtime! Ninja (SFSTL): A little rough, but in 7-1, the airtime is almost scary! The chain return also provides a terrifying head chopper! Timberwolf: a little slow and rough on some spots, but overall it had multiple moments of airtime!
  5. My all time favorite coaster names: Boomerang Flight Deck Dive Coaster Corkscrew Roller Coaster Okay seriously, lol Intimidator Goliath Black Mamba Dominator Beast Shivering Timbers Mystery Mine Legend Vertical Velocity (V2) Tatsu Wicked Twister Top Thrill Dragster Deja Vu All Busch Garden's coasters (except Cheetah Hunt) Nitro Untamed Ninja (horrible coasters, but the name is such a good name for a coaster that beats the shit out of you!) Hades
  6. Posted on SFOG's facebook From the looks of these photos, SFOG has done a terrific job with Dare Devil Dive! Fits right in with their great collection of coasters! I'm extremely excited to come back to my favorite Six Flags park this year! 95ยบ drop An immelman Flames on the bottom of the first drop Third and final inversion Looking straight down the vertical lift hill
  7. http://www.visitkingsisland.com/public/news/newsletter/index.cfm?item=174 Dinosaurs Alive! 3D is a captivating adventure of non-stop dinosaur action that will enthrall guests of all ages at Kings Island this summer with its unique look at the entire age of dinosaurs. WATCH THE TRAILER Launching May 26 on the giant screen (63-feet wide x 27 feet tall) in Action FX Theater at Kings Island, the 10-minute show brings dinosaurs, their behaviors and their ancient environments to life through the use of Dolby 3D glasses on the screen as never before seen โ€“ juxtaposing stunningly realistic and scientifically accurate computer generate imagery (CGI). Using state-of-the-art techniques, the filmmakers have created an array of amazingly life-like creatures based on the latest fossil evidence so that audiences can experience these creatures on the giant screen. Guests will meet and learn about Tarbosaurus (a close relative to Tyrannosaurus Rex), Velociraptors, Protoceratops, Seismosaurus, and more. They will witness dinosaurs locked in mortal combat, nesting in colonies, protecting their young, and facing catastrophic forces of nature. They will also learn which ones traveled in herds, which made nests, which were the predators and which were the hunted and other surprising behaviors in this amazing show. Dinosaurs Alive! 3D is suitable for all audiences and an exciting film for dinosaur lovers from age 3 to 93. Also debuting May 26 is the worldโ€™s largest animatronic dinosaur park, Dinosaurs Alive! at Kings Island. Dinosaurs Alive! at Kings Island features more than 60 life-sized dinosaurs, including 56 animatronic dinosaurs, in a spectacular outdoor 12.5 acre Jurassic forest setting. The highlight of Dinosaurs Alive! at Kings Island is the worldโ€™s largest animatronic dinosaur, the Ruyang Yellow River dinosaur, which measures an incredible 72 feet long, 12 feet wide and 30 feet high! Other highlights include an excavation site replica and kidsโ€™ did area. Dinosaurs Alive! outdoor attraction and film are not included with general park admission or a 2011 season pass. A separate admission ticket of just $5.00 for the outdoor attraction or just $7.00 for both the outdoor attraction and 3D film is required. DAILY OPERATION BEGINS THIS FRIDAY BOOMERANG BAY OPENS MAY 21
  8. Wow! I'm surprised of how intense it looks! Reminds me of riding in the back of Georgia Cyclone getting pulled over all the hills! I might just have to make a Valley Fair/Mall of America/Dells/Zippin Pippin/ SFGAm trip this year!
  9. Its Kings Island, when isn't it crowded? But yes I'd assume it'd be crowded. Whatever you do, don't go Sunday! It's bring a friend day which will make it automatically be very busy, plus all the people going for after prom.I live in Indianapolis and I know almost everyone going to prom is also going to KI Sunday.
  10. It hasn't been mentioned but Daredevil Dive started vertical construction. The start of the lift hill and the bottom of the first drop are in place.
  11. The concepts show an Arrow suspended coaster! I'm all aboard!
  12. I haven't ridden SFMM's Deja Vu, but I have ridden SFOG's and I love it! Not the smoothest coaster but by no means is it like Ninja next door. It's completely different from any boomerang, invertigo, or SLC. If the line isn't too long I wouldn't pass it up, definitely an under rated ride!
  13. I love Wolverine Wildcat but I'm really surprised it's your number one wooden roller coaster. I'm glad it's getting some attention!
  14. All time favorite (and favorite wood)- Voyage Favorite Steel= Intimidator 305 Voyage at Holiday World! I305
  15. I could of sworn near the end of the season it did have a queue cover? I know it wasn't there in May or June though.
  16. 2010 was quite an amazing year! I made tons of visits to Holiday World, it became my second home pretty much. Holiwood Nights was probably one of the greatest days of my life! Going on spring break to Kd, Carowinds, SFOG, and Dollywood was very memorable too! Going to CP for two un-busy days in a row was crazy too. Randomly driving to WoF and getting all the credits in a few hours was probably my favorite memory, wow I miss that place... My first trip to SFStL was epic, mocking for American Thunder all day made for countless re-rides! I can't forget Indiana Beach and Michigan's Adventute! I miss 2010 but I'm so excited for 2011!
  17. Intimidator 305 is my favorite steel coaster,Intimidator 232 is my fourth favorite steel coaster. I kinda feel bad for Carowinds that they won't win, but hey- guess the should've built a better coaster! Already voted for I305 and (as pathetic as this is) had friends vote for it too! I rode it the day it opened in it's original form and absolutely fell in love. I'm hoping to go back to KD this summer to ride everything I missed and reride I305, maybe it will end up being my all time favorite coaster beating Voyage?
  18. It is! Mindbender and Georgia Cyclone also make SFOG my favorite Six Flags park!
  19. Just for thinking about it for a second, I'm most sure thats true. Dollywood and Silver Dollar City don't along with WDW but they aren't really seasonal amusement parks.
  20. At Indiana Beach they do that to every ride (well the ones with seatbelts). Its so annoying and takes so long.
  21. Great news! I rode (one side) Gwazi in 2006, it wasn't horribly rough but it was by far the most rough GCI. The ride has a good layout, hopefully the Millennium Flyers can bring the ride up in terms of where it stands in rankings. I really hope I go to BGA this year, defiantly a huge year for the park!
  22. I'm with you here. I hate it, although every time I go to SFOG I do ride it just cause I feel like it might have gotten better- nope, it hasn't.
