  1. --------------- This update doesn't have a storyline, just a few photos. Sorry, but I'm kinda busy. Had finals today, and more tomorrow! But Thursday is my first day of summer, so expect more updates. ^Some of the indoor queue line ^Aerial photo of the ride and surrounding area ^Here is the ride's exit More soon!
  2. Sky Rocket looks awesome, especially in that last shot which reminds me of Fahrenheit. Any possibility we could get a full park skyline shot to see how it compares in the park's skyline with other attractions?
  3. Goliath at SFOG has one of those countdown clocks only it's time is 1:45 I think... I agree that Raging Bull needs a single rider line, but even more, Superman does. It'd be so much faster to ride that if every seat was filled. Off topic kinda, but does anyone else think that Giant Drop should be painted a different color? Brown just doesn't look good on drop towers. I think a rustic red and maybe silver or black would look better.
  4. I've never been to Valley Fair!, but seen PTRs from many years. Looks like they improved ALOT this season! Did you take any more photos?
  5. ^No. I haven't even ridden Firehawk this year (but been to KI 3 times this year), but last year every time I went it never opened with the park. It's supposed to, but usually opens about 10-30 minutes later.
  6. Sorry to tell you this, but it's probably going to be very busy that day. I'm pretty sure the AAA Orphan Day is that day, plus it's a Saturday. I'd say for ERT ride Diamondback and Beast as much as possible. About five minutes before the park opens, walk towards Backlot where the rope is. As soon as it drops, go ride Backlot, you'll walk right onto it. Next go ride Vortex and it will be a walkon. Hurry and run to Flight of Fear and the line shouldn't be more than 10 minutes. Once you get off, Firehawk should just be opening. I'd say you will probably have to wait about 30 minutes for it. From there, just make your way down towards Action Zone, ride Racer and Adventure Express on the way. If you want to do Slingshot or Xtreme Skyfler, usually in the morning the tickets are only $5, you can buy it, than ride it whenever you want. Invertigo will have a long line along with Drop Zone and Delirium. Top Gun will be a walkon like always. After you get those credits, just ride what ever you want. If you want the kiddie credits, go at night. Planet Snoopy is PACKED all day everyday, but after 8PM. the crowds there die down. Make sure you ride Beast and Diamondback at night!
  7. Went to Kings Island for 3 hours on Friday, last coaster was Diamondback. Got another fireworks ride! Next coaster will most likely be Diamondback again this Friday since thats my first day of summer break.
  8. I heard. Is there a trim there, I only remember there being one, on the big drop before the first inversion.
  9. Nice photos, makes me miss Carowinds! Is there going to be more photos, or is that it? Although I didn't get to ride Carolina Cobra when it was at Geauga, when I rode it a few weeks ago at Carowinds it was actually pretty smooth, just very intense.
  10. Some nice photos, some weird angle ones that made me have to turn my head sideways lol. You seem like you'd be fun to hangout with at a park.
  11. YeP! ---------------- Mk well first of all, when I load up American Adventures the game plays fine and doesn't crash, but when I take photos with the anti-alisining thingy on level 4 and take photos, they never show up on my photos. So I have to have them on level 3. I took 7 photos, but only 4 would show up. -----------------
  12. You take some really great photos, I especially like the ones of Vortex at sunset and the Royal Fountains ones. I actually saw your at about 10PM. in Diamondback's station, me and some friends randomly went to Kings Island for 3 hours last night.
  13. Great photos! I was going to go to HW today but don't have the money for another ticket or season pass. Sadly I'll probably only go to Holiday World two more times this year. Theres a chance I'll go to HW this weekend, if so than I will have been to a theme park every week in May and April.
  14. Well Kings Island is technically my home park because I go there alot. Best coaster there is Diamondback. But Indiana Beach is also kinda my home park, and the best coaster there is Cornball Express.
  15. Nice photos Zach. Did you go to SFGAm while in Shot-Town? I already saw some of your photos of facebook and they are really good!
  16. Glad to see some more progress. I wander if SF will have one of those animations showing the new layout, or if we will just have to wait for it to be re-built? Sucks about Shockwave (oh well about Boomerang though).
  17. I like Demon's (SFGAm) tunnel with the lights. Also, the chunnels on Voyage are awesome! My favorite part of Grizzly at KD is it's tunnel with the little airtime hill in it. Also, Adventure Express has 3 awesome tunnels!
  18. Thanks for all the replies! This giga is 310' tall. ------------ Sorry for not updating, I have a speech due tomorrow and I still haven't even started! All I did today was add supports to the hill under the lift, than support the first two crazy S-Turns. I'll try to get another update maybe tomorrow!
  19. Great photos, makes me miss my favorite park. There is going to be more KD photos though right? Also, could you maybe list all of the rides and give a description of how you liked them and rate them?
  20. Not that it has too much to do with El Toro, but last month when I was at SFOG, Mindbender was attacked by Stride also, but not it's trains. Throughout the queue line they just had random Stride signs advertising all the flavors. And also on the park map I think Goliath had a giant Snicker next to it.
  21. As ugly as the ads are, it doesn't bother me. It doesn't take away from the ride, and it's helping Six Flags make money so they can add more attractions.
  22. Every coaster at HW was running one train this past weekend. I was expecting that to cause some small lines, but surprisingly it didn't! The flyers were the longest wait of the day for us, we had to wait one whole cycle! About getting tired on Voyage, a few weeks ago when I was at Dollywood, I actually felt exhausted after riding Thunderhead. I only got to ride it twice because of the crowds and the fact I had to get home as soon as possible, but I don't think I could of rode Thunderhead more than five times in a row without taking a break!
