On opening day and the first month or so, Diamondback had little ticket things that said "Single Rider" and you had to wait for a Ride Opt. to give you one, than walk in the single rider line, than wait until the seat assigner had an odd number of riders in the stand by queue, than you (or a different single rider) will give the seat assigner your ticket and he/she will assign you a seat with a stranger. Sometime in May or June they got red of the tickets because guests were tearing them apart.

That sounds pretty cool! I can't wait for night rides on this beast! Imagine how more amazing it would be if tons of trees grew around the ride!

I have never been to Carowinds (I am going in 2 weeks though), so I'm not too familiar with it, but it looks like next to that kiddie amphitheater thingy you could get a great shot of the first drop. I'm pretty sure there will be a big fence on the path (not the maintenance road) right before the first drop, but I'm sure if you get the right angle it'll provide some awesome shots!

Thanks, it was inspired by Demon's. The trains on Cannonball are kind of long. They have 8 cars on each train. I know most steel coasters have 8 cars (or atleast B&Ms) so I just put that many cars on it until I was for sure. --------------------

I'm watching the webcam and it looks like something is going on by Anaconda. It looks like they got all those nascars from the 'junk yard' in one of Coaster crew's videos, and put them behind Anaconda. It's pretty close to I305's queue line so maybe it will have a little theming?

Wow I just thought it was a typo at first! I can not believe it will have the steepest wooden drop in the world! Thats just 1º from being as steep as Millennium Force's! I have never been to SFOT, but I think in 2011 I know what I'll be doing during spring break, or maybe summer break? I think the new Texas Giant will have the potential to be as good as people say El Toro is. If they add a few airtime hills somewhere, I think it will have to be. Cedar Fair really could take some advice from Six Flags. Recently Six Flags has just been renovating rides making them seem brand new isntead of buying $20,000,000+ coasters! Cedar Point could do the same thing to Mean Streak, advertise it as a new roller coaster, and their already great collection of coasters would be better!

Really? The park has been that dead? I've only gone twice, and both times I've been there, it's been busy. Granted I've been there on a Saturday so not only was NU crowded, so was the mall. I'm not saying it was dead, just that if they make more public announcements of rides, then they may be able to boost their attendance. I had no idea that they were transforming the park into Nick Universe, let alone added more great rides, until I was a member here. Living within driving distance of the mall, no one around me is even aware that there is a park inside of MoA, and that you can go there all year round. I live in Indianapolis, and I actually have seen many billboards advertising Nickelodeon Universe at MoA. I've even seen a few commercials. I really don't know why they are advertising it all the way over here, but they do.

The only three B&M Hypers I've ridden are Goliath (SFOG), Raging Bull, and Diamondback; none of which have seat belts. Every other B&M I have ridden has had seat belts, well except the flyers. So I think on hypers, seat belts aren't required (but can be added, Nitro). But on all other B&Ms, they are now required. In 2008 Kings Island added seat belts to just about every single ride. Vortex got them, Top Gun got them, even Beastie got them! I really don't think they should be needed, they all did fine before they were added. The only rides I think should need them are Drop Zone, Shake Rattle & Roll (Troika), Zephyr (Chair swings), Dodgems, and maybe Monster? I'm actually surprised Cedar Fair hasn't added seat belts to Eiffel Tower!

I was at the Great Wolf in Williamsburg this past weekend and the chemicals were horrible. I couldn't even be in the water park for more than an hour without my eyes burning and watering. The lobby looks identical to Williamsburg. In Williamsburg a winter theme going on in the lobby with lighted snowflakes and snow machines. I was impressed with the food at the lodge, your looks pretty good also. The chemicals weren't too bad at this GWL, but the one in Sandusky had some strong ones. Yeah when we walked in we were like "Where the hell is Triple Spin...?" It turns out they removed most of one of the four slides on the lower slide complex (the yellow-orange one.) Some of it is still here, but alot of the pieces got removed, and replaced with funnels. They do have all three funnels up, but they aren't done painting over the yellow. And also they have to add the LED lights I think. I stayed on the fourth floor (very top) so you couldn't of been above us, unless there is secret pent houses, lol. Yeah I've noticed that too. I really want to go to the Dells some time and go to a few of the water parks (mainly just Noah's Ark) and ride all the coasters. Isn't Coco Key just the water parks inside some Holiday Inns? Because on my way to Indiana Beach we pass an indoor water park connected to a Holiday Inn and I think it's a Coco Key also. Yep, on KI's 5@5 on Facebook I asked them if they would be painting Top Gun any time soon and they said "We are not painting Flight Deck this off season. We go in a pattern on painting rides, and Flight Deck's has yet to come." I think they skipped TG a few times...

So this weekend me and my cousin Mitchell went to Great Wolf Lodge at Kings Island, his dad (and his girl friend) took us. At about 1PM. we drove over to Mitchell's dad's house. Once we got there, we had to pick up his girl friend which lives about 30 minutes away. We ate at Subway which I do not like. We were on our way, and arrived at 3PM. Once we got to GWL our room wasn't ready so we had to carry our stuff to the water park. I changed in the locker rooms and than went to Alberta Falls (the bowl slide.) This visit was rather busy so the lines were long. Through out the day I rode the blue launched slide 3 times, the big tube slide twice, and the other slides a few times. I really don't remember most the slides names but we rode all of them. Around 7PM. we went to Skyline and had dinner. We got back at 8PM. and I went back to the water park. We only got to ride two or three slides before the park closed at 10. Me and Mitchell ran around the hotel til' about 2AM. than we went to sleep. I woke up a little after 9AM. but no one else woke up til' after 10AM. Once we were all awake, we went to the breakfast buffet. Than we went to the water park until 2PM. than we headed home. On the way home we stopped at Quakers Steak & Lube. Part of GWL Skyline Chili by KI I usually get a 3-way but I decided to get a burrito this time. It was really good. Just a random photo at Skyline. Most of my parks were 'closed' because of the crappy computer I used to have. Some of them were closed because either I realized how bad they were, extremely bad lag, or I just lost interest.
