Possibly the rest of the week... My friend who works at the park said he got a letter stating it would be 'dark' the 13th and the 14th and the ride opening is tentative the rest of the week. I really wish I knew the chances of it opening tomorrow, but thats the name of the game I guess since the ride isnt officially open .

Photo TR: A little more Animal Kingdom

Wow it feels like I haven't been to Uni in forever.. Of course I haven't had a weekend day off since the last weekend in December.. Erik, you are one lucky man, and thanks for the pics! Did you see anything new going on over in Seussland?? -
Wow.. 100Mill couldnt afford theming to cover every visible area of the ride? Thats alot of money! Its like paying tons of money for plastic surgery only to look like the perfect person from the front, with a saggy arse.. The only people complaining are probably diehard disney fans, or enthusiasts. I would think they would complain only because the disney 'magic' is kind of ruined, and by their standards in the past it makes them look a little sloppy. Im sure thought that the GP doesnt pay enough attention to know that they are looking at E:E when they are driving through the parking lot. They are just excited to be going to AK. I myself could care less if the whole ride looked like a warehouse.. as long as the coaster was fun!!

I have all the seasons on DVD, and I love this show! I love how random it is.

Probably my most DVR'd show! Ive been watching since ep. 1. Im a huuuuuge Jason Lee fan, and I am glad he finally got a 'sitcom' of his own. The cast is perfect and the writing is very creative. I must say, Ethan Suplee (Randy) tends to steal the show alot in a good way. His character is the perfect contrast to Earl's. I hope this show has a long run! I also like The Office alot, Probably would have never watched it if it wasnt after 'Earl. BTW, Jaime Pressly has definately perfected the 'Trailor Trash' role (From Jerry Springer's Ringmaster to Joe Dirt), and I heard she almost passed up on 'Earl because she was afraid she was getting typecasted.. Im so glad she didnt though, she really is the best for the character.

Wow, cool construction picture!! How much did you look forward to riding Anaconda, and how dissappointed were you (if at all) after you rode it? Was it smoother back in 91 compared to the recockulously painful ride it is today?

Thanks for pointing that out, I guess they could fit a standard 4d train in there. The perspective is very tricky on the eyes. -

Are the trains going to have 2 seats on either side like X?? It looks a little cramped at the top of the support (in the green circle) for a train as wide as X's. -
Fear Factor Live, because Elissa really wanted to be in that (stupid long lines for Bluto!!) . Then after shes done it, it can be levelled to build a spinning wild mouse

Thanks for the Soarin video! I was not impressed at all with this ride, but I can totally see how families can appriciate it.

Captivating! The attention to detail is unmatched!! You have definately found your calling, and I hope someone takes notice of your talents soon I heard that Disney tossed around ideas for a Villian based park . If it ever came to fruition, IMO this would be the perfect 'Mountain' for it. Do you have any other ride concepts you would be interested in sharing?

Isnt there already alot of stress on the trains as it is? If so, a launch would probably cause tons of money in upkeep on the trains, not to mention potentially tear them apart. My opinion is they are probably more concerned with getting it to work correctly than they are adding a completely new feature. Plus, going up backwards on the lift into a near-vertical drop seems like it would be more thrilling and suprising than a launch for this type of ride anyways. Like elissa said, make sure it works first ! -
I was talking to my friend that works at the park yesterday. He told me that up until a few days ago, the Yeti's movements weren't working at the level they were intended to work at.. And now they are working 100% and there is a noticable difference. Is there anyone on here that has ridden E:E when previews first started, and then again within the past few days? If so, has the Yeti changed at all?

^ Maybe they will just give you an insulin shot instead once the ride is done. -
What weird things have you seen people do when driving?
Imhotep replied to Joe Cool's topic in Random, Random, Random
Ive seen a few unmentionable things, sure you know what I mean. People down here seem to like to change their clothes (including jeans) while the car is in motion. Funniest thing I ever saw was an old woman playing with her false teeth while driving. She was leaning up far on the steering wheel, and she would open her mouth and let the teeth fall (like a sharks jaw) over and over again. As far as airdrumming goes, I am guilty of that.. I used to have a little practice pad that I could strap to my wheel, so I could actually practice a little at red lights. That was back when I was actually good -

Ill split these up into parks I know Im going to, and parks I hope to go to. If I wasnt planning on making a huge career change this year, and on top of that didnt have a wedding to pay for , these and more would all be definates.. Definates: Sea World San Antonio SFoT SFFT SFoG maybe Wild Adventures (maybe, not a huge CG fan, is this place worth checking out?) Hopefuls: SFMM KBF I want to try to get down and ride the Dania Beach Hurricane.

I dont think Kraken is 'ignored,' IMHO its just in a park more focused on the overall family experience. Enthusiasts seem to go out of their way for it, and Im sure if you were to put it in a park like BGT it would be just as well received by the GP as any of the other coasters there. Python however is in a park advertised for its coasters and the thrill. Enthusiasts will ride it for the credit, but thats usually it. And even on the busiest of days it seems like the GP isnt interested in it. Kraken IMO is not ignored, its just neglected! Maybe the solution is to swap Python for Kraken.
