Looks like you guys had alot of fun! I wish Neesh and I could have hung out with you guys the whole weekend. Next time you guys come we will plan things out a little better. Looking forward to seeing everyones PTRs!!

So, this coaster has been operating for how many years without trims? Why add them now? Is it because of that Cali transportation law (or something of that sort)? Its kinda funny.. Why add more brakes when they have difficulty maintaining the brakes the ride already has?

I usually keep the site up while at work, and check it in between calls. Lately Ive mostly checked out the TP, RC and Ds board. If there seems to not be much activity, I will check out the General Discussion board. On the GDB I usually skip the stickies. I love photo TRs, but probably my favorite threads are anything to do with construction, or the speculation of new rides.

Well, call me lucky. My beautiful and wonderful girlfriend just got off the phone with UNI and was able to score us some HHN express passes for tomorrow night!! Nothing like a little drama to keep the thread interesting, eh? 8)

Yeah, I know.. Its all good, Ill get to hang out during the day though. I would have got them sunday, but the lady said that they rarely sell out during the week, that I should have no problem getting them later. she actually talked us out of getting them! We are going to try to call. Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is I am still able to go to USO/IOA and HHN tommorrow. The bad news? I neglected to buy express passes. Things have just been busy, etc. So, most likely I will have to break from the group tomorrow night. and meet up with you if you do some things without express. Does anyone have any spare express passes they might be wanting to sell??

They said they were taking it down? Hmm.. Maybe they are taking it down and replacing it with a different track design? The rumor is that they are going to redo the ride and open it. I guess they could have changed their minds again..

So far, between HOS and HHN, I thought HHN was marginally better. I would say 5 out of the 7 houses were great. I didnt get to go to all the houses at HOS unfortunately, but the 3 we did (and 2 that I remember) were decent compared to HHN, but the scares were not as good. I mainly enjoyed HOS due to riding the coasters at night. The view from Sheikra, looking at the city all lit up was great! The overall atmosphere at HHN was creepier. I definately look forward to going back to HHN Thurs!

This makes me want to redo the trip we took earlier this year! We went to P:KD, BGW, DP, HP and SFGAdv. This year, 4 of those parks got new rides. Next year, so far 3 of those parks are getting new rides. All the reason to go back!! DP and BGW arent getting new stuff, but both parks were awesome and would be worth visiting again.

Well, Neesh and I are on board for thurs! We are going to the park during the day and to HHN. Look forward to meeting all of you. We went to HHN last night to check it out, it was pretty good! We didnt have express last night , and we were able to do all the houses with no problem. We of course will be getting express thurs so we can keep up with you guys. By the way, is the group planning on watching the Bill and Ted show? Thats the only thing we didnt get to do. Can someone PM me the info on where everyone is meeting up during the day and for HHN? -Imhotep

Another reason for long lines on Atlantis vs Kraken.. Florida heat+Water ride=Long Lines. Everyone is probably thinking the same thing... "Im going to get soaked to cool off on atlantis, then I might go ride Kraken to cool off."

Um, you are saying Vekoma didnt have the technology to pull off holding the coaster train at the top of the drop.. So instead they engineered a big peice of tilting track instead? Yup, Vekoma definately lacked in the technology department on this one. I saw an onride photo of this, and to be fair, it looked pretty freaky. I would love to experience the tilt feeling. Maybe Vekoma can step up their game and adapt their newer 'smoother' track to the tilt coaster. Now if they would only build on of their 'Thrill Lift' coasters!!

Maybe instead of buying them out, they can take a turn from being rivals and form a partnership. Basically as socalman said, CF would be overwhelmed if they bought ALL the parks. If they partner, maybe CF can gain control of SF's bastard-child parks and turn them around, add some new rides,etc. Or they can gain control of all the major SFs parks and let SF focus on all the smaller parks they havent been able to really concentrate on over the years. If either venture proves successful, only then should they decide to buy out the entire company.

weird, the snow globe for TTD looks smaller in general compared to MF. They could have at least gone for the 'worlds tallest snowglobe' title. I wish I would have collected these instead of shot glasses on my coaster trip earlier in the year. I didnt think about it until I saw the Ka snowglobe at SFGAdv, which was the last stop on our trip. Oh well, there is always next year!

Ok.. My imagination is running wild with all sorts of bad jokes and ride ideas with a sexual theme. Im sure thats normal. Elissa: maybe they took out the freefall to put in something more 'phallic' like a Kingda Ka clone. Damn I had to say it.

I really found that review funny.. On the other hand, you have to give CG some credit for even attempting to put on a halloween event at all. Yes it is definately below par, and it definately cannot compete with the likes of HHN or HOS. But hopefully, those that do go decide to offer some feedback to the park on what they could do to improve the event, rather than soley diss on it.

This is probably really picky, but something about the paint scheme doesnt look right to me... the track just has that 'unfinished' look to it, with everything being silver but the box part of the track. It looks to me like half the track is bare metal. I guess it just looks odd.

^Good call!! Metal and coasters go really well together. You want a power ballad, not some sappy bs! Phishy, maybe you should consider a music change.
