  1. Ooh, if possible could I have a PAL version please Barry? Never thought of that before. If you've already sent out NTSC it's okay, but if not, PAL would be awesome.
  2. What an awesome TR, go Ryan!! Good to see you having fun!
  3. For no explicable reason I haven't really had much to say about all the previous photos but this park update brought LOADS back to me!! Sitting on that damn flat ride (I can't even for the life of me remember what it was) was hysterical, I was annoyed because of the rain (compare the straight hair in the earlier photos!) and then sitting there waiting for them to fill up the ride with irritating 13-year old prostitots who screamed just because of the No Screaming signs... Grrrr. Chris could've got us kicked out after that ride, poor unsuspecting kids. You should've explained that shortly before/after that photo was taken you decided to try and make me jump by screaming "BOO" at me, which didn't work, but made Kristie and Greg sh!t themselves! Oh, and as for what Daron and I are doing in the last photo.... I have absolute NO clue! Daron, enlighten me?! No doubt that will be another pic that Daron prints off for his boss to disapprove of. Great pics so far Jeff, I'm enjoying the reminiscing.
  4. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/files/amdrayton7_570.jpg ^Remember when I said I didn't mind you posting any of the terrible pictures of me you took?! I changed my mind!! LMAO at Chris poking Richard in the arse with his sword!! (Best sentence I ever typed.) Richard looks like he's REALLY enjoying it too... Oh yeah, and G-Force was one of my most anticipated new coasters of the trip. And it totally sucked.
  5. I actually quite like rap, although only certain artists, and I can't stand anything really offensive, but as a general rule I think anybody who isn't a rapper but insists on trying to be one fails miserably. People who are known for singing or acting should just stick at what they're good at and not try and move into other mediums/genres.
  6. ^ You can look but you can't touch!! Jamez, it sucks when some guy off the Internet gets in touch with you and makes you sit between his legs on coasters, believe me I know how you feel! Glad you boys had fun.
  7. YES!! Ryan, we can now properly pound each other transatlantically! !!
  8. The living area and kitchen look pretty nice, looks like it shouldn't be too hellish at all! Some of the student accommodation over here is seriously horrific (although I should point out that the majority of it is pretty good, seems to just be the extremes).
  9. Awww, the poor things!! As much as the image of the penguins stopping traffic is somewhat comical, it is a really sad incident, lucky so many of them survived. But really, WTF was this guy thinking, he CAN'T have made the statement "We had a penguin wreck" in seriousness, SURELY not!!!
  10. ^ I know of a couple of people from the UK trip who were in awe of how tiny the Smart cars are. Myself, I can't stand them, although as far as fuel economy and stuff goes I can understand the attraction. It's cool that you can park them perpendicular to a row of cars along the side of a street too - the length of a Smart car is around the same as the width of a regular car.
  11. I agree with Ed about ten hours being more than enough time to do the DL park, especially at that time of year. I was there for a long weekend two Septembers ago and we managed to do the majority of attractions in both parks in one day, which was a Saturday too! The Studios park was practically dead, the other had a few people wandering around, but the only attractions we actually had to wait for were Dumbo and a couple of dark rides in Fantasyland. Other than that you shouldn't have any real problems.
  12. "Funsize pussi - 252g", LOL! Gotta love the small print, awesome.
  13. ^ Gotta love how people INSTANTLY listened to Jow and Ted's good advice.
  14. I voted in the $1-$99 category. I've never actually had enough money to donate, although I always donate to the charity of the deceased's choice instead of or in addition to giving flowers, which probably puts me up to about $80 or so for this year so far. Excepting that though, I've never been able to just donate money, simply because I don't have any! Once I have a steady income after I graduate, there are four or five charities I'd like to donate for, two of which I've done fundraising and volunteer work for in the past. As for the people who mentioned giving money to homeless people, yup, I've done that too, although very rarely, and only to one or two whom I see on a very regular basis and know don't use the money for alcohol or drugs. I will quite often buy cheap coffee and sandwiches for them if I can, especially during winter.
  15. I got 5. Three of which I knew, one which was an educated guess, and one which was dumb luck, as I guessed on six of them! I agree with Larry and others, I'm happy I didn't get 10!
  16. Pfft, it's HIS friend's wedding? Since when do men care about weddings other than their own?! Bail!! But yeah, if he insists on going, just ditch him, you can be my roommate! Spain rocks, weddings don't, nuff said.
  17. Happy Birthday Mary! Hope to see you again in Spain! Have a great day.
  18. LOL Jeff!! Duh, that was me and Chris being part of the "Coathter Paraaaaade!" You have waaaay too many pictures of us all having a little too much fun on a lot of the kiddie rides, that Safari thing was just... Wow. Gotta love the retarded look on my face in that Alpine Slide pic, I'm sure there was a much more flattering one than that taken too. Keep 'em coming.
  19. ...when you remember that there's already been one of these threads. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18201
  20. Nice pictures Ted. I love how you're totally playing up to your status as a ghey icon and posting TOPLESS pics now! I love waterparks so always like to see those. But jeez, busy much??
  21. Great pictures Robb, glad you managed to enjoy yourselves even though I have a feeling you may have been utterly exhausted by that point! One thing though, I think there may have been a mistake in one of the captions: "It's Derek....and a TPR ass!" SURELY, that should read "It's a donkey....and a TPR ass!"
  22. Thanks for that Larry. You do realise that you're shattering peoples' dreams here though, I think Robb was hoping some dirty old guys would sign up for Spain in the hope I'm as much of a whore as he tries to make out. Seriously, thanks. Yup, Robb and Elissa worked damn hard throughout the trip, both with the organisational stuff, and doing updates while we were there. That's why a few people got so defensive when other forum members were saying "I want the next update NOW!", it's not like they weren't trying, it's just that there are only 24 hours in a day! Oh, and Jow's post containing all the bus crash pictures is still joint first in my list of best TPR posts EVER, that was hysterical. For the record Jow, there were half a dozen of us sat around a laptop in the bar at Blackpool laughing over that for at least five minutes.
  23. ^^ I think just having breasts guarantees you a certain amount of notoriety on a coaster site. Introducing myself to people was kinda fun though, getting the whole "yeah yeah, I know who YOU are" thing. I'm infamous, yay!!
  24. More to the point, why the hell would you want to follow around a sorry slob like JOW for the trip?!?! Ewwww!!!! (Love ya Jow! )
  25. ^Thanks! Yeah, I was gonna just PM the person who made the posts I responded to, but then figured it might be useful to others so I'd post it publicly. I understand what you mean about Elissa saying that those of us on the UK trip being accepted first, but all that is is a reward to us for being their guinea pigs. Although I know we all expected the trip to be great (they were hardly gonna do something half-assed for God's sake), at the same time, in some ways we had no clue what the hell we were letting ourselves in for, with it being their first trip and all. You guys all have the advantage of all of our little pearls of wisdom. Honestly, if there's any "you're not welcome in our group"/"you're an outsider" stuff on ANY of next year's trips, either within the UK Trippers or with other forum members, I will be SERIOUSLY shocked. As I said in my previous post, I was on my own, didn't really know anybody (although scarily enough a lot of people walked up to me on the first night pointing and saying "Loooouuuuuuu!" - I'm looking at Ted as I say this ), and I was made to feel really welcome by everybody. *Edited to correct appalling spelling and grammatical mistakes!
