Rob(Coasterbear30) you just know how to make someone jealous! LOL. I would have so been with you on Thursday if it hadn't been for this "job!" Boo I so wanted to meet our TPR celebs! I'm glad you had a great time! Maybe I can join in on a TPR trip in the future! Again.... DARN YOU Rob! My jealousy has fully erupted! LOL :0) AND!!!! I also forgot to mention it was on the FRONT PAGE of today's paper. OMG! Rob(Coasterbear30) has already made me jealous! NOW I find out that the TPR crew was practically in my backyard at Lake Winnie!!!! OMG! Again! I would have so skipped out on work if I had know I could have met the famous Alvey's and other TPR celebs! I'm so sad.... maybe next time... :0(

Sounds like a great time! I am actually heading to Columbus, OH for vacay and trying to decide to go back to CP to hit up all the credits I missed or go back to KI for the new credit. You and another TPR peep's TRs have really got me excited to go back to CP. 2007 was my first and only visit to CP. It was pretty crowded and I didn't get all the credits or really any re-rides. The only challenge that I have is that my coaster riding/park loving peep will not be able to come with me this time, so I might have to go to the park alone. BUT I will tenatively plan to go on Wednesday 06/17, so if any local TPR peeps might want to join me and be my riding buddy just let me know! :0)

I think these two parks are awesome, especially if you have never been to either. I went for the first time to CP 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed it, but I really needed more time to re-ride rides and get everything done that I wanted. The park was busy so MF and TTD were both 45-60min waits. i would have loved early entry or maybe a 2nd day. I went to KI the first time last year (2008) and really enjoyed this park as well. This was a good full day from open to close and was somewhat busy. Each summer I go to to my friend's in Columbus OH for vacay, so KI is just like 1.5hrs away and CP is a little over 2hrs away. Very convenient! Anyhoo.... I'm debating this year to go back to KI for Diamondback or to CP since I missed quite a few credits. Seriously I enjoyed more coasters at CP than KI even though I didn't get to ride all the coasters at CP. KI really only had a few coasters that I enjoyed enough to re-ride, but at CP almost all of their coasters are awesome. I would advise to visit both parks as they are both different and offer some great coasters and flats! :0)

Great report! I'm getting really excited for my vacay as it is in Columbus Ohio and I am thinking about going back to CP for my 2nd visit ever! BUT... my peep that is a coaster/park peep isn't able to go with me, so I might have to go alone.... or not at all? :0( I wonder if there are any TPR peeps in the CP area on Wednesday 06/17. I think this will be the day I could come up and I would enjoy a riding buddy!

Honestly I have not seen one of these in probably 10 years. I remember riding one on Gatlinburg, TN when I was still a teenager! LOL. I don't recall it being a thrilling experience or anything. Just a little dizzing and peeps just staring at you while you flipped around.

^ I would have to agree with Rob on Goliath. Especially if the trim is off or light, then those last few hops are insane with airtime! Sometimes I feel like I am going to be thrown out onto the concrete below! :0) Oh and of course Thunderhead, the whole ride is pure arse in the air thrills! LOL.... OH!? :0)

Wow! I'm not sure what is "wrong" with me. I am just posting like crazy today! Anyhoo.... Great report. I was waiting on a good detailed TR! I really wish FMP was closer to me as I would love to go. When I can go to King's Island or maybe even Holiday World or Indiana Beach in the same drive time or less, I would rather go to the obvious choices! I guess since Myrtle Beach has a beach then it MIGHT be worth a long weekend trip? I really just don't know. But anyhoo, Thanks for the report! :0)

I would have to agree with Robb. I do not go to a park for the employees, but for the coasters. So I really could care less the attitude of the employees. What does get a little under my skin is when SFOG feels it is only necessary to run one train on Batman which will give park guests sometimes an hour wait, when Goliath is only a 15mins wait. THAT is ridiculous! For what EVER reason, RIDICULOUS! Sorry, just my 2 pennies! :0)

CRAP! I knew there was a duckie somewhere in the Haunted House pic, with all those little round white things dandling around I KNEW I would miss a duckie! BUT! Maybe one of my other 4 was an actual GHOST duckie! Yay! There still might be hope for me! Thank you (maybe) ghost duckie! :0)

Awesome TR! I am so jealous as I wasn't able to go with you guys! I am REALLY REALLY jealous! But I guess I can mention that I have decided to hit up CP on my Ohio trip. Oh and I leave a week from tomorrow! :0)

I'm so jealous: I haven't had the pleasure of having dinner with Hector yet! I guess the Club 33 might be cool? maybe? But hanging with Hector would be uber-cool. So let us know who or what was done to get the privilege of eating at the infamouse Club 33.

The sign advising "Future home of..." removed! It doesn't look like the economy will let the Chattanooga area get a water park. The sign in front of the lot is now For lease or Sale and the orange fabric on the fence has been removed. Also the site is still out on the web without any updates.

That is exactly what I was going for when I did that...for some reason I cannot find the original picture... DUDE... that was an obvious comment he made.... If he KNEW me then it would be funny. Since he doesn't, then it WAS offensive. It would be exactly the same if his comment was laced with racial overtones and made toward a stranger.

Well he has done more than just use blur. The photography is awesome and would stand on its own as being great photographs. I believe the intent was to be artistic which he has done in a great way. This would be very much appreciated by someone that actually appreciates any form of art. Your response seems very immature and disrespectful. I also see you are not displaying your age, so I assume you are very young, which makes a lot of sense given your response.

Hi Montu! I absolutely love your photographs. I myself am very into photography and digital art. I was just told by some of my coaster peeps that I need to do more park and coaster pix. The pictures were hilarious but we couldn't post them in order to protect the innocent. Basically, we couldn't post pictures of our friend without her permission. OIC that makes tons of sense! Well I just hope those are posted somewhere else.... myspace or somewhere! I just love the crazy intoxicated bar pix! :0) I know Rob has mentioned opening day at SFOG so how many of the ATL peeps will be there that day?
