My 1000th post. -
I dunno, I don't listen to either band. If he's put on some weight since that picture, then yes, that'd be him. That doesn't look as much like me as he did on the Letterman (or was it Leno?) show.

^ Is lazy and spends too much time in bed. < Does, in fact, tend to be in the doghouse more often than not. \/ Houses his dog in the closet... Let him out!

Nope, about 40 sheets in there. Do you like to boogie?
-
I've never been told I remind people of anybody of anybody, but I was watching Letterman last week. There was a musical guest on, and I was stunned. The singer could be my long lost brother! I don't remember if it was Fall Out Boy or Death Cab For Cutie. I think it was DCFC. I looked up the band but the photos I found weren't as similar.

Ah, your SN makes more sense now. 10/10 for synergy. 9/10 for mixing imagery. -
Mr. Alvey has been sent funds, described as for 'services,' via PAYPAL. I don't know if I even WANT to see the PTR on this little TPR endeavor.

Pictures of AW's Ultratwister cars at 6FA are always welcome! I just hope it has travelled well. UT's are a lot of fun, but when a coaster moves, it's pretty hard to rebuild it as smooth as before. Good luck!

Where did I leave my other cell phone charger? -
^Would ride the Hamster Coaster if he could < No longer smokes skunk! \/ Enjoys cool, refreshing lemonade on a hot summer day.

YES Do you, in fact, know how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

I will not attempt to list the movies I own. This photo will have to suffice. I don't even know how many there are.

Cr@p!!! I didn't see this 'til just now, and I go to sea tomorrow! What's the deadline again! What's the $ amount required? Can I send Elissa $$$ by PAYPAL? Somebody PM me quick! Although I don't need "Rollermonkey" on the Honorable Guy T. Koepp, I think: Donkeylicious! I I \/ approximately at the top of the 'Happyguy trail" would be humorous, while not at all aproppriate!

5.5/10 Not a Gators fan. Shucks, I'm not even sure if that's FU or UF or UMiami!!! -
Yummmm... Beast. I can't wait until I get to ride it again. In the dark! This time, I keep my mouth CLOSED. No more bugs for me, thanks!

Is anybodys home park their favorite?
rollermonkey replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Whew, I'd have to say that no park that was ever my "Home Park" was ever my favorite, and none are my favorite now. Growing up in MA: Pirates Fun Park is a HOLE! Canobie Lake was the nearest real park, but it wasn't that great in the late 70's - early 80's. Stationed in San Diego for 7 years, Belmont Park isn't much more than a woodie with a couple flats. Lived in Minnesota for 3 years, VF is nice but never my favorite. Lived in Gaeta, Italy for 2 years, and sadly Magic World was far closer than Luneur, but neither park is all that nice. (Magic Mountain is the same terrible Top Fun POS that is at Santa's Village in IL. Possibly the worst coaster ever made by one of the worst coaster companies ever.) Lived in Manama, Bahrain and Chakazooloo Indoor Amusement Center is more like a Chuck E. Cheese with much better theming and a coaster far better than a Python Pit! Now I live in Yokosuka, Japan and Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is about 4.5 miles away. They seem to keep taking out rides, so I'm not very happy with it as my home park. If I move to Illinois, 6FGAm will be my next "Home Park" but I think I'll be happier to have a shorter drive to Holiday World! Oh, I forgot. My favorite parks are Europa Park and BPB in Europe, BGEuroburg and BGDarkTampa in the states, and TDS and Space World in Asia. -
Alpengeist question

I noticed that lots of B&M's have that lead 'car,' but I never noticed that the inverts don't have it. Hmmm. -
Overrated coasters in your opinion

Magnum XL? I so don't get the hype. -
Your Closet Coaster

Hmm, I have an unhealthy attraction for BPB's Wild Mouse. Also, I really enjoyed the one Zamperla Volare I rode at Genting Highlands. -
TDS's Tower of Terror
rollermonkey replied to COOOOLkid's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The opening is supposed to be during September. I haven't heard the exact date yet. I've never been on a ToT anywhere, so I am looking forward to this one. EDIT: That link above says 4 Sep 06, and has a countdown. I've asked before but never gotten an answer: Does TDS do soft openings? -
^Thinks he's nifty? < Sniffle, am not emo! But I am going to make fried scallops for din-din. \/ Does not know the way to San Jose.

Yes, I've been on six, sit down, non-launched Intamin coasters over 200 feet tall and that reach a minimum-maximum speed of 70 mph. Do you like to get inverted?
