I watched two movies last night, and I was let down by both: Final Fantasy: Advent Children At least it was better than Spirits Within! Grandma's Boy Way too much drugs, not enough plot, genuine humor or T&A!

What Was The Last Non-Alcoholic Beverage You Drank?

I had a glass of water at lunch. -
Although it's interesting to some degree, I don't care as much for Indy for the same reason I don't like NASCAR: Way too many left turns. I like the Indycar and F1 events that mix it up on road courses, though.

I was thinking that instead of 77 million 'made' from the sale, how much did they LOSE in future revenues? -

Atomic Coaster

That's the 'standard' Meisho shuttle loop. There are a couple other examples around Asia. If you think Japan Monkey Park (Nihon Saru Koen is the Japanese) is an odd name, they just opened a coaster called Go Go Banana Coaster this year. I am trying to get there on Memorial Day. -

Er, since Tenth Ring Coaster in China earlier this year. -
Robb or Elissa, (or any mod who knows,) Is the drop bar in the forums that allows you to select any page in a forum or thread new? Or am I blind and just didn't notice it before? Either way, thank you, it is a big help to me!

I'd like to give a shout out for PA. For a single park, pick Kennywood or Hershey. Both are fantastic experiences. If you have a little more time, there are a ton of smaller parks within an hours' drive from either one. I did just about every park in the state in about 4 days! (I missed Dutch Wonderland somehow...) It really wasn't terribly expensive, either. There's a lot of traditional stuff at the parks there, too. One more thing to mention: Knoebels'!

How do you ride?
rollermonkey replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My answer is dependant on the ride as well. Gotta go hands up on a flyer, though! -
I've already cast my vote as far as 360 goes. I've had three opportunities to buy it, and I've passed it up all three times. (I think a lot of guys in the Navy agree, there were @48 X360's at the exchange the other day. There were still more than 40 left today.) PS3: I'm NOT happy about the price. I know I'll jump on the one with the smaller hard drive, I don't play online much, but I expect PS3 to have the ginormous library it's predecessors had. (It does already with more backwards compatability.) Wii: I still hate the name, but I will likely get one, even as little as I played my Gamecube. I know there will be stuff I must have.

Am I the only one who noticed the vertical drop in this picture? I had no idea! Now I'm REALLY upset that I haven't gotten to ride AA on the two times I went to Lotte World! -
restraint of Loup Garou failed

I had an OTSR pop partially open on me once. (The ride was a Top Fun Typhoon @ Magic World, Licola, Italy it's just outside Naples.) It was terrifying and painful. I got right back on, but I sat in a different seat! -

I said lightning rod in my post. You said light tower in yours. I ASSumed that you didn't understand what I was talking about. Have you seen a picture that shows a light on top of the lift hill? -
Fuji-Q Highlands Discussion Thread
rollermonkey replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ There is no airport near Fuji-Q. A lightning rod is a metal pole with a wire running down from it to the ground. In the event of a lightning strike, the electricity runs down the wire instead of the roller coaster. If the electricity entered the coaster it could concievably fry the motor or electronics. This ride looks like it will have 4! (That's overkill!) A lightning rod is normally installed at the highest point of a ride so that the lightning hits it before the rest of the ride.
