Celebrities and Athletes you've met...
downunder replied to SixFlagsTexas's topic in Random, Random, Random
^That's funny, I was at Mall of America in late 1992 & Schwarzenegger was paying a visit, I just missed him at Hooters. That place must be a celebrity magnet. -

I would be happy if they saved Big Dipper and moved it to CP but I would be surprised if they did, now heading to CP website to see if T and T have been dropping any hints. -

Gee, neutered before it even got any action, wasn't even Raging Bull at least not ruined by trims for a while? Have I slipped into an alternate universe where CF are the bad guys and SF are the good guys? -
Cedar Point - Photo TR - 7.29.07-7.30.07

Really nice shots, I especially liked that forest and water shot that didn't look like CP at all. I wonder if they still have the cruise from the CP Marina, I went on it in 2003 and got some great shots of the park from on the lake, I'd love to see what shots you would get from that perspective. -

Nice photos, I love CP and it's history is so interesting. It was so cool to look at all the old photos on the walls at Hotel Breakers. -

No Do you watch South Park?

I agree with the advice to get the tickets on the net, get to the park as early as possible, hopefully they will let you through before opening and just have a rope up. I went on a Monday in Aug 2006 and they did, and went back Wednesday and they didn't. Most important, head straight for the Flash Pass building once you get in, look up the park map on the net beforehand so you know where you are going. It appears they aren't doing Flash Passes on the net this year.

Six Flags First Quarter Revenue up 35%
downunder replied to Evan1127's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Good for them, Six Flags were great to us at the 3 parks I went to last year (SFMM, SFKK, SFGAm). Thou hasn't the debt climbed a fair bit, wasn't it up to $2.7 billion recently, that will be a challenge to tame? -
yes and no, somedays a lot other days not at all, I can call for free so I do that. Do you like gravy?

Mark Termonti - Alter Bridge is someone I listen to a lot at the moment. For emotiveness Clapton and Santana. For wizardry with a good ear for a tune, Van Halen & Satriani. For innovation and kicking ass, Tom Morello. I think Nigel Tufnell was left off the list. Oh yeah, best guy who looks like a sheila who pulls top roots, Prince.

No, the body corporate hires someone to do it. Do you think everyone on TPR is cool?
