This looks like an awesome little park, can't wait to be there on August 2.

Nice trip report, not what I would personally consider a destination park but a nice place to check if you're in the area. It will be interesting to see how this park develops.

I love them both but Maverick gets my vote, it's like the best parts of so many coasters in the one ride.

The Third Mother (Mother of Tears) - Dario Argento's sequel to Suspiria (horror classic) & Inferno (has it's moments). I think Dario must have seen Juno because he really tried to be the wizard of gore on this one but he just wound up being the wizard of bore - sucks all ass. Lacked the elements that made Suspiria so great.

Barry - excellent, photogenic subject matter in AT, captured Nemesis nicely. Very convincing stalker footage. 7/10 Darren - great use of POV footage, alittle too much focus on attention seeking behaviour in the second half, could have been broken up a bit more. Every time I see a midwest video, I go, wow, was I on that trip? 7.3/10 Kevin - a bit slow in the first half, and the B & W section was nice but went a bit too long. The second half was excellent, the off ride footage captured the speed of TTD really well, and the steepness of MF drop. 7.4/10 David - nice intermission, captures the coasters nicely 7.2/10 Pam & Brian - great job capturing Knoebels, good fun 7.3/10 They were all really good and I hope I wasn't too critical - if I did a video it would be 0/10. Thanks for the entertainment.

I guess people should look at the big picture in terms of improvements instead of petty nit picking. My visit last year in August was the first time this century I haven't walked away from SFMM feeling frustrated (I visit once a year, given I live on the other side of the Pacific), and I actually had a really good time. I think everything is looking up at SFMM and I hope that translates into higher attendance and revenue for them. There is a fair amount of brand damage to turn around and it will be challenging, for example, SFMM has dropped off our aussie travel brochures like Qantas holidays for Los Angeles since 2001 while all the other socal parks stayed on.

What I find more disturbing is they are spending $100 million on a glorified ferris wheel in Melbourne, they could use that money to put El Toro, Ride of Steel, X, Top Thrill Dragster, and Maverick at Weribee Zoo - damn I'd move to Melbourne if that happened, and I detest AFL.

It seems a classical case of bureaucrats almost killing the goose that lays the golden egg because of their own bitchy little agendas. If the Agawam local govt doesn't want SFNE, Six Flags are more than welcome to relocate it to me hometown - well I'd settle for just Superman.

Tunnels or no tunnels, I am really pleased with what they have done with X2. I wonder if SFMM is planning on getting qbots in the future (I'm not suggesting they are considering it)?
