  1. No they won't, they will all be aquatrax because the polar ice caps will have melted flooding the world, it'll be like the movie Waterworld, with coasters.
  2. I think they will all be powered by soy bio-diesel.
  3. ^I was thinking of the other bush but that's probably just me. George Bush has probably got enough money to buy them.
  4. I agree Six Flags Great Adventure is the best option, it's got a great variety of coasters and some of them are excellent plus Flash passes if you are willing to spend extra money and it is easily accessible from a major hub city (New York) and Philadelphia as well, if you are flying.
  5. I'm wondering if the parks did get sold, they will probably get de-Busched (like Paramount). Yay, I'm going to Gardens Europe. I hope they don't hire whoever does the names for Cedar Fair.
  6. Be gentle, I'm a foreigner, I've been to several ball parks: Fenway, Wrigley Field, Skydome (is that what the Blue Jays one is called), Turner Field, Petco (Padres), the SF Giants new one (2006), and the Louisiana superdome - that's all I think. And the least fave winner is: Petco, mainly because the bleachers suck, they aren't even part of the stadium, it's like a sandpit between the stands. Fave: Wrigley, for character.
  7. ^That's interesting, the Disko was indoors last year when we went in August, but I guess it is a portable ride.
  8. ^I'm not knocking SFMM but I'd rather spend a day riding SROS than a day at SFMM, I love SROS that much. I'm really pleased with SFMM's progress over the last couple of years, maybe not everything's perfect but It's improving a lot. The Riddler station queue is cool in a way because I have found the front row line to be the same length as the other rows because people are so confused by it.
  9. ^I agree with you on the Belmont Park Dipper, the dark bit before the lift hill was the only part I remembered. BTW Yosemite rocks - I love that park, even though the trek up half dome terrified me.
  10. ^My understanding is only Taxi Jam requires a kid. There'll be some cash on offer for some enterprising young ones that day.
  11. Glad I got the Dive To Atlantis credit last year and by the sounds of it I'm lucky not to die on it, though I almost died of boredom anyway. Selling the Disko is a bit mystifying, but money must have talked very loudly. A Eurofighter would be very nice at Mt O, or anywhere for that matter.
  12. ^Adventure express is hilarious, that lift hill is so random.
  13. Also at Warner Bros Movie World, Scooby Doo has a whole Ghost train with small drops under swinging axes and sharp turns before the lift hill - which is an elevator, and it rocks from side to side as it takes you up.
  14. Out of coasters I have been on, I really liked Hades and Thunderbolt (Kennywood). Although not thrilling, the pre launch section of Superman Escape at Warner Bros Movie World is very impressive, it's like a Universal Studios disaster dark ride.
  15. Very nice photos, loved moving shots of the SLC train. I'll be there next month, looks like fun.
  16. I've been on the Little Amerricka one, it was an interesting experience, and I will be riding the Lakemont one in August. Looking at RCDB, I'm amazed that there has been at some point over 20 of these in existence, Hersheypark even had 2 in the 70's. Although the ride experience doesn't match the visuals, they just look insane, I was so impressed when I first saw a picture of one.
  17. Divv3k wrote: Is "Gods" an acronym? Like maybe Glaryingly Odd Deviate Schoolbus - just stirring. Jes was saying he was on the rowdy bus which I assume was the chariot. Hanno hasn't unveiled the photos most of us guys look forward to, or is it all PC on TPR now? To think in 3 weeks at exactly this time I'll be getting it together to head to the airport.
  18. Was that an optical illusion or was the second tour bus a short bus?
  19. I'd love to go back to IB and Holiday World as well, yes, there is more than corn in Indiana. Steel Hawg would be just a bonus for a visit to IB.
  20. That soundslike a perfectly plausible explanation, and there I was hoping for a revival of the jo-jo roll.
  21. Nice spot, sounds like a hyper coaster, smells like a hyper coaster but 3 loops? What's going on there?
  22. I think it will be fun like everything else at IB, man I want to go back there.
  23. ^It's funny with that, because Coaster Counter counts Casey Jr in Paris but not the USA. My credit system is simple, whatever is on coastercounter.com I count, which means I don't count many protables they don't list. I was talking to someone I know who just got back from the Europe trip they said it was a great time.
  24. ^^^I know what you mean with LAX, you have to allow so much time to get through security etc. I appreciate your helpfulness. If it had been a few hours drive I probably could have justified it, with a side trip to Buffalo Bills to get the Deperado credit but I think it might be sensible to stay put.
  25. Good topic, I've been to Magic Mountain 10 times, I think that's the most I've been to any park.
