  1. I have never been able to get my signature to appear under my posts, I only have a small amount of text so I don't think I am breaching any size constraints. What am I doing wrong?
  2. I hit a couple of milestones on the Emo/East Coast tour, and due to an accidental checking of a box on coaster counter my 300th turned out to be not quite as auspicious as what I planned: 100 - Woody Woodpecker Nut Coaster, Universal Orlando (2004) 150 - Lost Coaster, Indiana Beach (2007) 200 - Teddy Bear, Stricker's Grove (2007) 250 - Boulder Dash, Lake Compounce (2008) 300 - High Speed Thrill Coaster, Knoebels (2008) but I thought it was Phoenix but I accidentally ticked a coaster on coaster counter, very blah.
  3. Hey Matt, Max looks really gay in your room in that peguin shot and Adam looks even gayer making love to that ACE landmark plaque. It's a shame we didn't get Ride of Steel at it's best, it was more Clark Kent that day. Damn, that Catwoman statue, does she work at Hooters during the day.
  4. Nice work Matt, you do work fast, since I last saw you it's been 30 hours in transit and then straight to work for me. Bear Trax denied, how painful, I am now of the opinion that anyone who steals a kid to get a kiddie credit should forced to take them home and raise them themselves. I've never done drugs but if I ever did I would take them at Idlewild on Confusion Hill or Mister Rodgers. Why do I have this urge to live, eat and breath Delgrosso's sauce, ha ha, I didn't have any myself - I heard it was mediocre at best.
  5. Another B & M hyper, Cedar Fair becoming the new Six Flags is way in the past tense now. Have they outlawed Inatmin ejector airtime in the USA?
  6. Nice grab shot on the log flume, that is such an epic face plant, a violent work of art. I've almost done that myself on Goliath at SFMM when they have the mid-course brakes on hard. The Burqa girls seemed out of place at Martin's but it was nice they got to get out of the house or wherever they keep them. I wished they were Ninja's, I've always wanted to fight Ninja's.
  7. Phoenix at Knoebels, that coaster is like the last drop of Cyclops for the entire ride, I'm amazed I made it back alive from each lap but I had a big smile on my face. Now I know why so many people love that coaster like an ACEr loves gravy. New number 1 over El Toro, Boulder Dash and SROS, hmmm...I will have to contemplate that one, preferably not on the tree of woe (gratuitous Conan reference).
  8. Hey Eric and Candace, I'm glad you didn't have that SLR handy at Legends at Dorney Park! Bring on The Kitchen, damn did that cocktail make me start to sink. Reminsicing already, from my work desk, that reminds me I should actually do some work today. I think with Cyclone, we definitely exchanged our pleasure for pain, man that ride is meaner than a Brooklyn mugger in a crack drought.
  9. Nice report, it's hard to believe I was actually on that trip, and still on the East Coast trip. I am so jaded now even Domintor couldn't raise my pulse above 60 beats a minute. And we have 2 hours of ERT on an SLC tomorrow morning - I think R & E have me on suicide watch. Sea Breeze was fun, even if it is nowhere near the sea though Lake Erie is a pretty substitute. Just to one up you on the kiddie credit whoring, so many of us tried getting on the kiddie coaster at Lake Compounce, that they wound doing an impromptu ERT session (one abrupt lap and off) just before Boulder Dash - which is now the one coaster to rule them all - I'm still in shock at how good it was.
  10. ^That's a whole different sexual orientation called geek.
  11. Are we talking going to the occasional Erasure concert gay, or prison would be like summer camp gay?
  12. ^Doesn't the space mountain at Paris have inversions or something? I can see many unpleasant possibilities.
  13. ^You can clearly see there is no line in the mid left hand side of the photo. Whatver, I had a great day of no waits.
  14. ^Obviously you didn't see the non-existent line in the MF photo beyond the point where the grouping is done.
  15. ^It was like that all day, the heavy rain the previous day really killed the crowd the next day. It was a wednesday on the last week they were opened 7 days a week for the year, it was a great day.
  16. Here's a couple of photos of Cedar Point on the most awesome visit I have ever had, check out the Millennium Force and Dragster "queues", this was late August 2005: and so was Top Thrill Millie was busy
  17. Islands of Adventure for me, it combines thrills (which I have a preference for) and theming the best.
  18. My current faves: 1. Superman Ride of Steel (SFNE) 2. El Toro 3. A very large amount of daylight. 4. Maverick
  19. ^If I was running coaster counter or rcdb I would include it on their sites personally, I think counting this one as a coaster is a matter of opinion and the arguments either way are both pretty valid. Because I use coaster counter to keep track of things and they don't have it on, I don't count it. I just couldn't be bothered keeping a personal spreadsheet to keep track of things.
  20. ^Yes he is Catholic, and he's down here right now, ironically he's having the big mass for 500,000 people at a race course. My system is to count whatever is on coaster counter, I feel it kind of validates my count but like everyone says it's still a subjective thing with some "coasters".
  21. Melissa may be an ACE replicant. They can't get women so they decided to start making them.
  22. I see you have a zipper in your avatar, if you have actually ridden one of them, you can ride anything. What scares you about an invert, is it because your feet are hanging or because you haven't been on a coaster with inversions? Great Bear is fairly moderate for a full sized invert, I'd just ride it and if you don't like then so be it. Close your eyes if you're scared.
  23. So everybody rode Michael Jackson? No wonder he's in a wheelchair now.
  24. Does this mean that there could be an Elissa lookalike in California who likes coasters?
  25. Australian company Village Roadshow has been purchasing a fair few waterparks lately, maybe they know something?
