  1. ^Agreed, on the chocolate, it is crap, we have so much better mass market chocolate downunder. I forgot one for Hershey: The Chocolate Ride -5000/10 (yes, that's negative), I want to sue for the pain and annoyance that ride caused me.
  2. I'm surpised Stricker's Grove is still open, glad you got the opportunity to go. Great photos by the way, they really bring back memories of my visit in August 07, 200th credit on Teddy Bear yay! Oh and the food, that was great, the corn yum and all the rest.
  3. Before I get back to photos (and I'm going to focus on the "interesting" ones) and videos, I thought I would do 1 line reviews of each park on the trip. 4. Ditto, Boulder Dash was unbelievable in August when I was there, I've got it at #2 behind Phoenix, and ahead of El Toro and SFNE Ride of Steel, which is my top tier coasters. Last coaster I rode - Phoenix.
  5. Nice work Adam, damn I'm going to have to get my finger out and put some more reports up too. Six Flags America, more like Sick Flags America - I think someone is going to pull the life support real soon.
  6. Not that I ever go but I don't think Pizza Hut even does pasta here.
  7. Not any more Do you like Two and a Half Men?
  8. Drop Dead Legs - Van Halen
  9. Pretty In Pink - starring Jon Cryer from 2.5 Men basically as his 2.5 Men character as a teenager. Apreety good 80's teen comedy, written though not directed by John Hughes.
  10. Nice report, I wonder if anyone got any photos of Sauce Man just for the look of madness in his eyes - Delgrosso's seem like the Branch Davidians of sauce. It's a shame a few of you had to leave, because the East Coast trip was like the sumptuous main course after a very tasty appetiser. I know I only really started to come alive about day 2 of the East Coast, I was just a wreck from jetlag the entire Behemoth trip. I also hope you get over your fear of flying, so you can fly for future trips.
  11. ^Christiana, tell them you do get paid, and that you get paid lots to boot, and if they get especially inquisitive, make up some phony degree they have to have to get the job that is only available at the University of Alaska.
  12. Great report, I'm so envious I really want to do Halloween at places like Knott's. Damn that Pacific Ocean between me and Knott's.
  13. Nice TR, looks like you had lots of fun, and made everyone on these boards envious.
  14. Best coaster in Vegas for sure but it was just ok as far as I was concerned, I'm sure it would loan itself well to relocation, Michigan's Adventure maybe (someone has to say that)? I've always wondered how a full park with tons of rides would go in Vegas, any opinions?
  15. I'm expecting reports sometime of human remains being found in the Duelling Dragons queue/labyrinth. In fact I'm not so sure some of those bones in there aren't real, people get seriously lost in there. When I was there, a group of English tourists gave up on finding the ride.
  16. We've got rollercoaster simulations and now we've got roller coaster stimulations. Will this be in future TPR trip tour bags, at least for the ladies?
  17. ^Eric, don't say that about not having to buy onride photos, Hanno might start charging. These photos are better than the parks on-ride photos. As usual great photos, it's always so interesting to see people's reactions on rides and Hanno you capture them brilliantly. It's a shame you didn't get the two girls who flashed their assets on our train on Son of Beast last year, or did you? I wished I'd had the presence of mind to take a photo of them on the on-ride camera monitor after the ride, it was hilarious.
  18. It's a shame it's another Intamin motocoaster style ride, because there is already one up the road at Dreamworld with different theming. At least it might be better, because Mick Doohan's Motocoaster is totally lame by all accounts.
  19. I dreamt I went to the Hard Rock park (no kidding) last night which is totally random because I have no desire to make the effort to go there, which I guess says it all about their chances of success. It was a mediocre park in the wrong location, not surprised at all by this news.
  20. ^Have orgasms got that boring for you Jason? Though isn't your home town of New Orleans one monstrous orgy that would make Caligula blush, so I can imagine you'd be a bit jaded.
  21. ^Jason, I can't tell whether you are yawning or having an orgasm?
  22. Great photos, I see my penchant for wearing shirts that are out of synch with the park is in evidence again, SROS (New England) shirt on El Toro this time. Your commitment to capturing the trip in it's glory is much appreciated, and allows us all to enjoy the great memories of the trip long after it's over, mucho thanks Hanno. This shot from Rye Gunplayland scared me, that's no moon it's the death star.
  23. ^I agree, what about Trevor from Retroactive.
  24. I really love the photos, I appreciate that it takes time and effort to get photos like that, not to mention lugging around an SLR. ^Summer's around the corner down here but no coasters, but that's alright plenty of other things to occupy myself with.
  25. I was pretty much in a daze on the entire Behemoth trip from jetlag combined with lack of sleep , so I just kind of stumbled through Confusion Hill - oh yeah, the floors not straight, I think I should be sick now. Natatomic, I felt sorry for you up on that chair. Though it would have been worse if I got up there.
