  1. Nice TR so far. I'm contemplating going to KI this year....this stuff is bad for my wallet LOL.
  2. That park looks nice, and is not covered a lot on TPR. Thanks for the pics.
  3. Meh, I'm not going to bash a park for supporting charity and catering to geeky enthusiast wants. If you want to go ahead, but I see no reason to. And I'm not a Cedar Fair or Cedar Point fan at all lol.
  4. Good stuff, especially the Enterprise! I want to go to Heide so bad. Maybe one day with TPR.
  5. It seems like there must already be a topic for this, but what the hell I'll post here anyway. April- SFGAd, Casino Pier, Funtown Pier, Jenkinsons Boardwalk. Sometime- Wisp Resort July- TPR Texas Trip. SFOT, SFFT, SWSA, Kemah Boardwalk, Bonus Park. Late July/Early August- Midwest Trip to Camden Park, SFKK, KI, Indiana Beach, Holiday World, Dollywood. Looks like all my new credits accept for one (the Wisp credit if that is a credit) will be earned over a three weeks time. Oh well, those weeks I'm going to be living like I'm an Alvey. I'll take that for now. Coasters I'm looking forward to the most are: Cornball, LCOSM, Voyage, Shockwave, Steel Eel, Freeze, Beast, and the Mountain Coaster at Wisp.
  6. Ah yes, did the same thing on my first trip there. Fortunately I know where it is now! Looking through all those pics, it's amazing how many cool looking rides are there I have never been on despite my many visits. It probably has a lot to do with Phoenix being there, and my butt is in and out of that seat most of my times there! Downdraft especially is something I need to check out next time I go.
  7. I used to go to Kings Dominion 4 or 5 times a year. I didn't go last year and probably won't go this year. I guess I'm just tired of it.
  8. Skyline Park looks amazing. I remember videos my grandparents have at American "playgrounds" in the 60s and 70s. They were so much more dangerous than they are today. I wonder if those would have evolved into Klotten/Skyline type parks had it not been for this lawsuit-happy country.
  9. Summer Nights - Rascal Flatts for the 100th time this week
  10. Interesting report. Booo to Thunderbolt getting new lap bars and seat belts. I really liked that ride last year, I hope it is still just as good. Still can't deside if I like the whole Bizarro thing or not, but I really want to ride it again!
  11. My favorite is easily Rascal Flatts. I used to hate them when I first heard them, but that was more of a hate of the first song I heard from them - Fast Cars and Freedom. 90% of everything after that has been awesome!
  12. ^Do you know if that Three Brothers in Seaside is really the "original Three Brothers." Like the start of the big chain?
  13. Man I'd love to go here. Though it is pretty far away, and I'm pretty sure there's nothing similar in the US.
  14. I can testify that Matt also claims to love Skull Mountain from the front seat as well, which makes him unique and a little weird.
  15. I know I'm a little late posting this, but I wouldn't have looked nearly as stupid in this pick had it not been TWO Matts trying to take pictures at the same time! Thanks for screwing up my Big Mike picture you guys!
  16. LOL there was no button for the chicken?! Wow, nothing was working at the park that day. It is too bad your first time at Great Adventure was that day. I think it was fun, but my other two visits the park was so much better. Oh well.
  17. One coaster that I have really been wanting to ride for a while is the "Coaster" at Vancouver's Playland Park. With Phoenix being my favorite coaster, "Coaster" seems to be one of the closest things to it. It seems like a good classic ride with stand up airtime, and single position lapbars, much like Phoenix. This picture just screams airtime! It is always ranked fairly high in Mitch's poll. I was wondering if anyone who has actually ridden it on TPR thinks it is better/worse than it's hype. I really want to try it out for myself, but traveling around 4000 miles for it seems a bit much!
  18. I went today as well. I have to say my first hour went very similar to Big Mike's. However, I stuck it out because I don't plan to go back very soon (live very far away), and the day slowly got better. I got to ride El Toro three times, so I can't complain too much. Also, just want to say it was nice meeting Big Mike (the man, the myth, the legend), Nay, and Chris from GCI!
  19. Figured since I'm bored, I'll share my top rated songs on Windows Media Player. Yes, I am too cheap to get an iPod. My music is strange, I know. 20. Dear GCI guys, Please convice East Coast USA parks to order a coaster with 4 airtime hills and a straight drop. I am a straight drop lover!!!
  21. If it is true that Blue Streak will not open, I don't really see much point in me driving 3 hours to the park. But if it does open, it is clearly worth it!
