  1. I now wish I was going on the Scandi trip. Such an awesome looking ride. I can only imagine the immensity of the airtime. I now have Hansa Park on my must visit list.
  2. It looks very nice, there's one thing I would fix though. The final drop, the track goes through the side of the temple, making for a very nasty crash. Other than that, very unique layout, and I would never have the patience to do all those custom supports.
  3. This park is amazing. The entire DC section is just amazing. I would not have the patience for making all those building and having them spaced so closely together. The coasters are pretty creative as well. To do all this with just the base scenery and no help from a trainer is shocking to me. Great job!
  4. This is looking very good. The only thing that I don't particularly like is I think the purple stripe on the buildings is just a bit much. I'd maybe try a lighter shade of blue, much like on the Carousel, but that's just me. Otherwise, keep up the good work, I'm excited to see how this park shapes out!
  5. Well, you all know that I have finished Grand Central. Well, I've started working on a new small park named Carolina Adventures. I just don't think it adds up to some of my previous work, so I'm just going to post up a few screens every now and then here and see how well it's received. My idea for this park is to take some of the better themed areas and rides from my Golden River Amusement Park, and recreate them to a larger degree. The first screen I'm going to show you is of the Space section with the main attraction being Journey to the Moon. SCR6.BMP
  6. ^ It's checked, the problem is that something very weird happened, as I previously stated in the thread, and it messed up my scenery. If you don't have WW, then it will not load. That's one of the reasons why I included several extra overview shots. If you do have WW, then if you pm me a list of the files you need, I can try to zip them up and send them to you.
  7. Since everyone is getting pictures of enterprises for you, I'll go Monday and get a picture of Screamweaver for you. Ah, Intamin awesomeness packed in the form of an enterprise. It actually was my first ride that goes upside down, and the only ride that still makes me feel a couple inches taller when stepping out of it.
  8. I'm a "wheeeeeeeeee!" person. Sometimes I let out a "Yeah!" when going through a segment of intense gs. I've also done the classic southern thing of "Yeehaw!" on multiple drops and inversions. On some of the more calm coasters, like most woodens, I've been known to talk to my friends.
  9. Okay, the park is now finished! Newly added was one final ride to Marioland, a couple of restaurants, and the star of this update, Devil's Canyon! Devil's Canyon is Mack's first launched water coaster. The ride features 3 launches. One station launch, and two launched lift hills. It's theme is that you were on the center lake of the park when an old mine opened up and flooded, sucking you into it. Enough talking about it, let's cut to the pictures! Grand Central.SV6 The download. SCR14.BMP Final overview. Thanks for watching and for all the comments! SCR13.BMP Super Hero World. SCR11.BMP Mario Land. SCR10.BMP The Woods. SCR9.BMP Here is Thrill Zone. SCR8.BMP Now, time for a quick recap of the park. Here is the entrance plaza. SCR7.BMP Officially the coolest restaurant in the park. Finger Likin' Chicken! It's building doubles as a tunnel for White Star! SCR12.BMP The other new ride, Bowser's Tumbler, a Huss Topspin. SCR5.BMP A good overview of the ride. SCR3.BMP Being launched out of the mine for a good splash down. SCR2.BMP First, you're launched from the station, and up to the top of this jagged mountain. SCR1.BMP Devil's Canyon. Yup, it's cool.
  10. If you enjoy enterprises, you should come to Carowinds. We have one of the few enterprises built by Intamin. It's a lot of fun. The Wheelie seems to go very slow when tilting upwards and coming back down, does that give a better ride than ones that tilt up and down more quickly? Anyways, nice TR. I should be going down with a couple of friends soon, and then I can experience this really awesome looking enterprise!
  11. ^ The new restraints are completely amazing. The vest doesn't lock up, so it acts more like a seat belt. It gives a very good feeling of freedom. Also, you couldn't hit your head on the bars even if you tried, or well I haven't noticed anyone trying and I'd suspect no one here would try either. The new restraints make all the difference. Boomerangs didn't seem fun to me either, until I rode this one. Intense and smooth.
  12. It's awesome that you got to go to the media day. I just got back from spending opening day in the park, and let me tell you, Cobra was straight up awesome. They really did some miracle work with those trains. There was no head banging and the only time the train ever shook was going forwards into the cobra roll. I'd say that I'm actually happy CF moved this ride to Carowinds. It has officially replaced Expedition Everest as my favorite Vekoma. It really is a large improvement on what used to be in that location.
  13. Old= Drachen Fire, seeing as it is my one and only missed credit... Current= Apollo's Chariot ^I like the idea of building a flat ride as well. I would go for a KMG Afterburner. Ah, what a fun ride.
  14. I watch both. I sometimes will watch the expedition disc a little more often than the footage disc, but that's only because it gives a better feel for the entire park. I definitely enjoy the footage discs too though as unlike the raw series, they show at least one coaster from most all of the parks covered on the expedition disc, the raw series shows only a select group of random coasters from all over the place. I am very interested in that idea for an all weird Asian coasters DVD.
  15. If a theme park were to ever be built in Charleston, I would be the happiest person on earth, especially if it is at the same quality as your craftsmanship. I can't wait to see this progress.
  16. It would make the other monorails envious. Why do we park in a driveway and drive in a parkway?
  17. ^ Sold himself to slavery in a form of wedding vows. < Stole the shotgun and returned fire. V Got shot.
  18. Happy Birthday! I hope you get all the presents you ask for!
  19. ^ Is no friend of mine. < Loves bugs and has had all kinds of pet insects since a kid including multiple jars of bumble bees that I personally picked by my bare hands. (Wow, I'm long winded tonight.) V Is now scared of <.
  20. If light sabers count, I'm going to say the fight between Lone Star and Dark Helmet in Spaceballs. It also has a few good jokes for the more "adult" side of this thread. "I see your shwartz is just as long as mine." If light sabers don't count, then mark me down for another Pirates and Three Musketeers.
  21. This is going to be just a very short update. Sorry haven't had much time to work on the park lately. My grandmother is in the hospital with failed intestines. The doctors say it's just a matter of time. Belief is that she won't make it past the week. This is just my formal notice that I'm probably going to take a little break before finishing this park. I'm sure y'all can understand. Anyways, I would like to announce the next winner triggernel for his suggestion of a monorail. Also featured in this update are 2 new flat rides (I did say it was a small update...). Now the pictures! SCR18.BMP I'll leave you with this overview. SCR17.BMP And last but not least, The Woods station. SCR16.BMP Here is the Super Hero World station. SCR15.BMP Now the monorail. This is the Mario Land station. SCR14.BMP Now showing another family classic! Peach's Tea Party! Ever wanted to prove how much stronger a stomach you have than your brother? Then this ride is for you! SCR13.BMP Toad's Party is your classic whip. Always a family favorite. Though with the building it's in it should be called Toad's Mushroom Trip.
  22. Ok, well I had today off from school and everything so I took the time to carry out a lot of work on the park. I might even have this park done by the end of this month with the new rate at which I am working on it. triggernel, the paths in the park are starting to get pretty confusing for the guests, so you might just be the next winner! Anyways, now for the update! New this time is the addition of Mario Land. It is not done yet, but about half of it is. In this half is a new rapids ride, a new walkthrough dark ride, and the world's first launched dueling/racing family coaster. Now, onto the pictures! SCR10.BMP Here is an overview of the currently completed area of Mario Land. SCR9.BMP It's a short but very fun ride. SCR8.BMP Then you procede through a nicely twisted out-and-back layout. SCR7.BMP At the go you are launched at 45mph! SCR6.BMP Now presenting the world's first launched dueling family coaster, Mariokart Raceway! SCR5.BMP Here's the new rapids ride Wario's Mine. SCR3.BMP Here is Peach's Kitchen & Castle. A combo walk through dark ride and restaurant. SCR2.BMP Welcome to Mario Land! This is the first of the two entrances to this area. Also pictured is the Mario Store, selling everything Nintendo.
  23. I really like this park. It has a very calm and classic feel to it. I don't really see anything off the bat that I would change for the betterment of your park. I think this is your best park yet, keep up the good work!
  24. This post is my formal congratulations to Flipdude for being the second person to win the Grand Central Challenge! You will receive a pm about your prize. For the rest of you, keep offering ideas. As a special prize to all of you, I will now provide a sneak peek at the next update . SCR1.BMP Enjoy Flipdude's wining suggestion.
  25. ^ It's just custom scenery. ^^Thank you, and your park can have one as soon as the download is posted . Thank you all for the comments, I'll try to have another update within two week's time. Also, don't forget the deal is still going where you can suggest an idea and if I use it you will get a prize.
