  1. If my brother starts talking, I'll ask him questions, makes it even funnier.
  2. There's a couple places in town that are "gourmet", not sure if I wanna be seen buying booze there though. Had a Beck's Dark last night, it was pretty good, but no Newcastle.
  3. Never saw the second one, no intention to see the first one again even though I saw it on TV........I'm certainly not blowing my hard earned SFMM paycheck on that load of ricer-iffic stupidity!
  4. I routinely talk/yell in my sleep, but so does my brother that I share a room with, so it evens out. Just that he's usually more sound asleep than I am and can't remember anything I do.
  5. Dude, you should have gotten a hold of me, I worked open to close yesterday!
  6. I'm pretty sure I saw a crane over in the direction of X yesterday, but not sure. Went to an employee party where Batman, Goliath, Scream, and the backwards side of Colossus were open, as well as my favorite kind of food: free! I forgot how cool Batman is, go for the front to get a view and still have a good ride, hit the back and hang on for an absolute BOMB around the track! Goliath in the back rocked too, but a bad road wheel in the middle of the train made for a bit of vibration......still worth hitting the 3 times though. We were happy to be walking away (my brother wanted to hit it one more time) and see it get stuck at the bottom of the lift.........that was funny. Colossus was fast and out of control for once, just lean forward before it hits the second big turn and you'll be fine. Never did hit Scream, started walking up the queue, and people walking out told us it broke down too.....also glad we didn't hit that.
  7. 'Cause it was a Budweiser, it's just odd to: a) see it called "Ana-I-spell-the-rest Busch" instead of Bud or something b) it's just an average beer over here, not really all too respected.....if that makes sense. You know, it's like we're constantly seeing the Bud ads and crap over here so we're used to it, but it's strange to see it actually in another country. Okay, I need to go to sleep now, this just isn't making sense anymore!
  8. Way too many things to try and think of one, sleep deprivation doesn't help either. However, after like 30 seconds, I've got a list plenty long. 1. Riding my bike back in Torrance at about 7 or 8 years old, decided to bomb through a puddle on the sidewalk. Problem was, I turned the front wheel, and ate crap hardcore. A guy working on his car in his garage ran out because I was screaming and thought I killed myself. 2. Took my sister's old Razor rear wheel (no longer anywhere near circular, had three flat sides), put it on a friend's beat up Razor, and decided to bomb down our hill. Got up to 25-30 or so, couldn't see because of the vibration, started going numb from the shaking, left handlebar flies out and I eat crap hardcore again.......I actually remember flying through the air and in slow-mo, thinking that it was going to hurt (it did). 3. On that dang Razor again, decided it'd be cool to kick the back out during a jump....never thought about what would happen if it wasn't all the way back in when I landed, or how much the splits hurt when you're not flexible. 4. Spaced out while driving across a bridge in town in my mom's minivan, thought the dry riverbed looked cool for some reason. Looked up in time to see a stopped car, hit the brakes, skidded and rear ended him. Managed to slow down to about 5mph by the time it hit so no damage, but scared the crap outta me. There's numerous other things.....swimming into pool walls because I had my eyes closed, routinely eating crap on anything with wheels attached, falling UP the stairs a few times 'cause I was spacing out, walking into sliding glass doors, the list goes on and on.......
  9. All this talk about Anchor Steam makes me wonder if any of the in town places have it......gonna have to do some searching. Oh yeah, Newcastle Brown Ale: thought it was pretty darn good, and lived up to the label saying "full of flavor without bitterness" or something like that.....nice one I'll have to remember.
  10. Quit building stupid houses out here, the traffic is getting bad enough trying to go across town, pray you never have to try and do that during rush hour. The major roads are already 5 lanes wide, and still it's not enough, just look at how McBean or Bouquet get swamped. Everyone's bent on living in the nice suburbia of Santa Clarita, too bad they missed it by at least half a decade. I heard that Log Jammer might not be down for a month for them to airlift the pump parts in, I heard arrangements might be made to do it even in a couple days. Not having Blood Falls would hurt MM's Fright Fest big time, so I can understand why they're going to push for it.
  11. Used to be a Santa's Village in the San Bernardino mountains out here, no idea if it's still there, but they always had hokey as all getout commercials. Never had the desire to go there either, looked dumb even on tv.
  12. Well, a while back there was talk even in the local papers of MM trying to do a "City Walk" kind of deal on the way up the hill, but nothing ever happened with it. I too have noticed a couple markers along Feedmill, and the fence went up Friday I think, it sure hasn't been there long. The land on the other side of the fence in that area isn't owned by SFMM though, as far as I know, it's still independant farmland. On the other side of the park (across from Riddler and Batman) is cattle grazing land, which, if bought by the park, would be perfect to do bunch of new rides. The only problem could be routing the people over there, but it'd be easy to either build a bridge into the queue, or just have the station right be the edge of the park and then stretch the rest of it out into the new land. Or eveve better, just build a whole new area out there, and maybe if there's time, theme it too. EDIT: Oh yeah, Thrill Shot is down due to mechanical problems, gonna be a while before it reopens. Even worse is that one of Log Jammer's two gigantic pumps blew up, and there will be NO BLOOD FALLS this year! The ride will be down for a month, and after Fright Fest, they'll use a helicopter to fly the new pump parts in......the pump house is too far away from the midway to use a crane, so not only does SFMM has to pop for a "airlift", but there won't be the Camp Ohmygosh this year. They didn't have any signs up to let guests know about the closure yesterday, heard over the radios that a whole bunch of people were waiting in line trying to get on.
  13. I wish Six Flags had computers that connected to the internet, well, that were out in the park at least. Man, we really wouldn't get any work done then!
  14. Wine tastes like rotten grape juice to me, but I've only had it one or two times.
  15. We have had to send people away to other rides the last few days, I've gotten out of it somehow each time though.
  16. MM is screwed for people right now, all the summer workers took off, as well as the international workers......plus idiots getting fired for cruddy attendance doesn't help either. I had to work on Tuesday for Rosh Hashannah, ton of rides didn't open on time because they had no workers, we were pretty tight that day too.
  17. Had a Guinness Draught tonight, didn't feel like drinking it in a can so I poured it in a nice Coke cup. Really smooth, much better than the Extra Stout I think, might have to be my standard when I feel like a brewsky every once in a while!
  18. Just had a 16oz Grolsch, it was okay, but I mainly got it for the super cool bottle....that old school top was so cool to pop open!
  19. Yeah, even better would be some "Beer-fore and after" shots!
  20. Ha! Soren's the biggest couch potato here, and was too lazy to change clothes or something........weirdness right there. I think he just photo-chopped the color of the beer in the glass, but he's holding the bottle ever so slightly different. Anyway, my last beer was a Guinness Extra Stout. Not really into beer, but it was sure better than Heineken and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale I blew my cash on a month ago. The dark color was a bit different too, but it was sure a lot smoother than the other two.....might have to try regular Guinness if I find it around town, might change my feelings toward beer if it's good enough.
  21. The people that know the answer to that arent' going to be wasting their time with a 65 page thread on a internet forum....
  22. Usually diet sodas don't help you lose weight or keep it down because then you eat the same amount of bad stuff in some other kind of food......and wind up GAINING weight instead! I go for the real stuff, and avoid diet crap like the plague, why torture myself with the nasty junk?
  23. I'm just hoping that they'll do the same kind of promo photo shoot like they did for Scream with the new ride, even if they don't, I think I could get on it early.
  24. It's pretty much gonna take up the entire hill there, kinda centered around Sky Tower too.
  25. Stupid iPoo's trying to take over the world......I wasn't going to get one anyway, now I'll just laugh at the people that did.
