Haven't heard a single thing about that, better check it out next time i work........or just call and see what random facts I can dig up. EDIT: You know, it might just be a private party for some company, they're going to start that back up in November. Although the date wouldn't really make sense (for a private party to be on a Saturday), but it wouldn't be the first time that MM's done it that way.

Found out they had to cut the track this last time, that's just what they've gotta do every time because it's darn near impossible to drag it out any other way.

Crapola-ness? I got no idea, maybe the sudden cooler weather......or the fact that it's October and evil spirits have taken over the sections where it keeps getting stuck.

I mentioned something close to that like 20 pages ago, cool to hear the people I was talking to actually were right.

Well, that's what they did last time. I would think that it's because of the different design of the trains, and how they ride on four rails instead of two. Either way they'd do it, I think it's a major operation.

I like Riddler's elements, I just don't like the way it loads your legs and wears them out early in the day. I agree that if you bend your knees a bit the ride is much more comfortable, and the little airtime you get on Riddler is far from painful......and you can make it even better by taking your feet off the floor. Granted, there probably isn't a way to avoid the wedgie that Riddler is so good at dishing out, but the nut smash is fairly easy.......for me at least.

Ghostrider at Knott's whips you up and over the lift pretty quick, I love how it just starts picking up speed once the first half is over the top, and the next thing you know you're flying down the drop! It's soooooo much better than the "poop over the top" ones we have at SFMM, agonizingly slow at the top, and draws out the drop more than need be.

This reminds me of someone else, a guy at SFMM who always hits Thrill Shot and Dive Devil. His name's William, and he's a real nice guy who just likes to ride them both at least twice a month. He's probably also the recordholder for Dive, with like 400 or so rides over the last couple of years.

My guess would be during a test run, but the people would sure freak out if it was loaded. I wonder how they'll get it out this time......winch, or cut the track again?

Dang, I always knew X sucked, just didn't know it was bad enough to valley like 3 times in one month.

Finally, someone else like me!!! Oh man, Newcastle sounds sooooo good right now......and I got the $3 in my pocket for a nice big bottle too.....dilemma dilemma! 20 minutes later........stupid power of suggestion! He he he......

Boomerang at Knott's sucked, big time. I'm darn near 6'4", and it was painful as hell, just like Viper at SFMM. I love hitting Deja Vu everytime I'm at MM, never really found anything wrong with it. I ALWAYS sit on the outside seats though because of my height, you get a better view and ride too I think.

WRONG!!!! I don't know if it's because it's SFMM or because of the design of X, but they cut the track last time. I know this for a fact, and it's not just some random rumor.

Sounds like the dude that shows up at SFMM every once in a while, Flumee (Flumy?). Anyway, he's this old Jewish guy that hits Log Jammer and Jet Stream like crazy, and has people take his picture in the different boats. One of my old supervisors said that when she was in charge of Jet Stream's area, Flumee showed up and wanted the people there to take a pic of him going down the drop in every boat. She said no, but that he could jump from boat to boat in the station and have his pic taken there. He started asking about a long lost single white boat they used to have there, confused the heck out of all the employees but her. Anyway, this guy looks kinda greasy, and like he hasn't washed his clothes in a while, and drags around a bag with pics of him on darn near every water ride around the country.....which he's glad to whip out if you simply ask why he's got the bag. Funny thing is, he won't hit Rapids, guess it's too intense.

Says 29 days for me, just looked at it.

Hmmmmm.....Sören approves of it, so it must be good! We've got a fair amount of small liquor stores in town, I'll have to check it out.

At SFMM: Riddler: Meh, don't like the way that ride wears out your legs anyway. Music sucks too, I'd rather just avoid that ride altogether. Goliath: Decent, I guess, but sucks if there's no line and you have to hoof it to the front. Batman: Used to be really cool and kind of immersive, but then I moved on to High School. Scream: Probably best capacity and easiest line to understand, but I'm ready to start decking people if the techno is playing. Colossus: Not too bad, simple switchback style for the most part, moves really slow if the line is out of the station. Flashback: Went on it once when I was 9, not stupid enough to ever do it again. Psyclone: Stairs, but not that bad. Generally short because of the infamous nature of the ride. Deja Vu: Horrid. No themeing, ugly handrails randomly curving through a barely landscaped area, then get dumped into one of the most conveluded stations ever. Why did Vekoma have to do the offset seating crap when B&M 4 across rows would have been fine? Just hope there's someone grouping people as the go in, but even then, don't get your hopes up. X: I'll go up the exit and get on early through a friend, but otherwise not that bad. The the split station adds confusion, but a bouncer or grouper at the entrance to the station helps a lot. Viper: Been a while, but sum it up as "meh." Ninja: Darn that hill climb, hope the lines not too long, and it'll be okay. Superman: Somewhat themed, but needs some help. I always go for the back of the car lines because they're the shortest. Revolution: Old school, not much creativity, but gets the job done and is quaint.

I also heard from a friend that is a Fright Fest employee that it's decent at best.

Had a Guinness Draught tonight, I guess I could call it a "pint", because saying it came in a can is kinda cheesy. Pretty darn good, think I'm gonna stick to Guinness Draught and Newcastle Brown Ale as my favorites, with Newcastle just barely getting the edge.......it's sooooo good.

Aw crap, and I was trying to remain anonymous! Oh well, it was cool to see you there, your dad or whoever that was got kinda weirded out though......guess it's not a regular experience for people to walk up and say they know you from a forum. BTW, those 3 double cheese burgers were pretty good, but I think I could have gone for another one. Oh, and I KNOW I'm going to MM on Friday, difference is, I gotta work, and it'll be at least a 12 hour day for me......oy!

Holy crap, late night hilarity! Conan is freakin' hilarious every time, I loved the one where he was a Canadian Mounty though, that one was great. EDIT: Wouldn't you know, there's Walker clips on tonight's show!

Had a 24oz Sam Adams tonight, meh on the taste, but at least the big-ness is making things "cool" now.
