Wow, Elissa looks like she's got that whole chick cancer patient thing going in that pic for some reason........
-
Bit late to mention, but I had some insanely good steak on Christmas Day grilled up by my mom and grandpa.......think it was rib eye, but not sure. All I know is that it tasted amazingly good.......mmmmmm........
-
No, the easiest would be what I pointed out.......and everyone somehow missed. Park in the Human Resources lot, hop the fence, don't get hit by cars bombing into the big lot, walk across to the tram road and get a ride in. Free and feasible, but probably frowned upon if you get busted.

What did You get for Christmas?

Six Flags Magic Mountain paycheck? -
Bev Mo rocks, gotta hit that place up some more!

Bad Color Schemes and/or Just Ugly Coasters

Tatsu: McDonald's The Ride! Scream also has those funky fuschia or purple or whatever they are supports, never understood that choice, they had a perfectly good looking idea with the blue and yellow......there's gotta be something better than that. Ninja's once red track is now pink, makes it more macho as it swishes through the trees, methinks. -
Yeah, quite good, and not too expensive at $2.50 a 16oz pop. They have a TON of it too, had to be at least 25 or so individual bottles on the shelf at a quick glance.......don't know why your places always sell out of it Wally, seems "Beverages 'N More" is set for quite a while and not even the holidays put a dent in it. I'm upset though, Soren didn't even acknowledge my first Hefe, maybe it's the champagne he got into at work.
-
Pretty sure I'm going to Palm Springs (well, a small suburb of it, Palm Desert) for New Year's, gotta make sure I have it off from Six Flags first though.

Wally would be proud, had my first Paulaner Hefe tonight......pretty good in fact. Found it at "Beverages 'N More", a local store that wound up pretty much being one big booze store.......I was naiive enough to just think they had funky sodas and stuff, but was in for a big surprise starting with the "No one under 21 unless accompanied by an adult" sign on the front door. Turns out, they have a literal butt load of the Hefe 16oz bottles, 'bout $2.50 for one too.....not sure about the 6-pack. Oh, and sorry for being a total retard on this, but what are the lemons for with the Hefe? My grandma's got a lemon tree, so we got all the stinking lemons we want. I also had a Monty Python Holy Ale, it was "meh" or "okay" at best.....prob. should have had it with a meal or before I was tired. Oh well, the label was really cool, and as long as it supports Monty Python (especially the Holy Grail), I'm for it! Oh yeah, and it's the first place in town that has actually had Beamish, I'm seriously thinking about picking up one of the 4 pack of pints next week for the mini Palm Springs vacation......

You could always park in the Human Resources parking lot and hop the 3' fence to get into the guest lot, not totally legit, but by far the closest parking you'll find that's free. Then just go in HR and say something stupid like you want an application or a t shirt or something like that, and it'd be even better. The other option could be to park in the employee lot, but that's a pretty long walk, and Security's gonna look at you funny when you walk all the way across the super empty massive parking lot.....just go with the HR one if you must park for free.

Who Have You Met From TPR?

Robb and Elissa, arrowfanman, and Guy T. Koepp......all very cool, but only Guy took me up on the free Dive Devil ride offer! -
Frefall at Magic Mountain, status?

It's dead for now, heard it was maintainance stuff or something......can't remember. Not that I really miss the "crunch on my shoulders feeling" though...... -
Had a Newcastle last week, that was my last BEER, but had a few glasses of Egg Nog tonight.....with the obligitory booze added of course. BTW, I'm almost 22, so I'm legal.

Remember how I said I hate squirrels and they need to die? I saw one get hit by a car on the way home! I would have gotten it myself, but it ran across to the opposite side of the street, then went under a VW Fox's tire......and laid there. Yeah, I got a sick sense of humor.

The Revolution--back in the day
4718 replied to coasterboy76's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Revolution is a bittersweet ride for me now, it's got such cool features and bombs the landscape like no other coaster at SFMM, but at 6'4" the restraints crash into both my shins and shoulders, the only way to have a decent ride is to glue my head to the headrest (but then the bumpiness blurs some stuff). I know I sound like everyone else that's posted in this thread, but I wish I could have ridden it before the brakes and new harnesses took over.......but I think I am glad that the trees have grown around it, makes it cooler at night when you whiz past them in the darkness. -
Yeah, with LED's on them that spiral or something so it takes on a "space warp" kinda feel at night......that'd definately be cool.
-
It was 37F last night, that's darn cold enough for me! Saturday was pretty bad too, the winds were cool during the day, but then at night it just got worse and we were all cursing the stupid thin pants that Magic makes their employees wear. Oddly enough, Sunday wasn't that bad, even after it got dark.
-
Squirrells, they need to die with all the dang noise they make while I try to sleep...........but yet they're never on the road when I'm driving around, what kind of twisted coincidence is that?!?! Other animals that could fill the "they need to die" category could be: crows, neighbor's cats that crap in our gardens, retarded skunks that don't leave us alone at Thrill Shot.......oh yeah, and like every kind of flying insect out there, they need go squish now!

SFMM TR 11/19 Private Event

Just show up next time on a weekend and I'll get you on, I've got another job during the week for the holiday season. -
Jr. High sucked hardcore for me, pretty much for everyone I think. High school was so much cooler, better electives too.

Ever been to "The Doctor's Office" over in Newhall right off Lyons Ave. near the 5? That's where we go, the doc's there always seem to know what they're doing.
-
I'm no Alvey, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night........ No, really, I've worked at SFMM for the last three years, and have seen every holiday season from '02 on. I can't really say how busy it'd be, but would guess it'd be about like a regular Friday. Sure, it's the day after Thanksgiving, so most people will have it off and want to go someplace for fun, but it's also "The Day After Thanksgiving".........the busiest shopping day of the year. I'd say the people that don't go because they're shopping will be balanced out by the people that have the day off, maybe the first 2 parking lot sections at the most. Heck, for all I know, it'll be really dead, and walk on for every ride....or massively busy.

So you had a good time then? Good to hear, I would have given you more of a VIP treatment by getting you on some rides, but had the day off......and quite frankly enjoyed it more than being at SFMM.
