  1. The picture on the last page of the permit shows a tower with the top part "coverd". Maybe shrouded means something in the line of Wonderland adds or Wonderland logos on the top part of the tower.
  2. The efteling did confirm on their facebook that this is not the actual lay out of the coaster. It only shows the location.
  3. ^^ Very Unlikely. Those parts are on the main parkinglot where anyone could be making photos of it. I very much doubt Wonderland is in the buisiness of getting sites pulled from the interwebs. If there would be any problems posting those pictures, CWmania could have simply pulled those from the site. I realy don't see any reason to think that those supports are for a new ride. Parts of slides have been showing up through the winter so most likely it will have something to do with those. But I also could see them building a giant sign with adds, since the park is so close to a highway. From the pictures i have seen of the triangular support structure, this could very well be a option.
  4. I'm actually very happy that they "playing it save". Finally they seem to realise that they don't have to re-invent the wheel. Now they can focus all of their attention towards the look and feel of the ride.
  5. Right that's true. I was just thinking of the actual height of the ride. Still by dutch standarts this is a high rollercoaster. Goliath is concidered to be huge around here.
  6. I think oblivion allready proved you don't need to be that high up for this kind of coaster to work.
  7. Suprised this has not showed up here.. https://www.facebook.com/PortAventuraNoticias?fref=ts This FB page is talking about +100 meter and 0-200 km/h in 3 seconds.
  8. Maybe a coaster on lava.. Lavatrax
  9. I love how it looks just like a rollercoaster track. I hate how it does not seem to have any airtime.
  10. I could only find this small photo, but here's a photo of the burning Grand canyon in Phantasialand.
  11. When i first read the name of this threat I was thinking of something like this But the Vogelrok in the Efteling has a snake eating you
  12. The launch allready was enclosed, but I'm not sure if they are going to "Update" that part. Hey are enclosing and theming the brakes, station and que. A scene should be added in the brakes part (a subway train will nearly hit you). The actual ride will be not be enclosed or repainted.
  13. I gues it all depends on how you would define Succes. When I think of a successful coaster manufacturer, I would look mostly at the number of rides being sold throughout the lifespan of the company. I think Vekoma would win that race in this point in time. But you might also want to look at the number of "prototype" rides a manufacturer has put out that have actually become a part of roller coaster history. Also the quality or the number of high quality coasters a manufacturer has produced is important to me. I think B&M would be the awnser for me.
  14. Exactually. Its the same as in netherlands, youre not allowed to smoke in public plus most parks have clear rules on the drug use inside the park. What offcourse wont stop some people from doingin it anyway. The problem with smoking in a park is clearly the smokers that ignore the rules.
  15. I would love to see a inverting launch track. So a launch track inside of a loop or twist. I'm not sure what this will add to the ride experience but I always liked the idea.
  16. I don't know, a wingrider with a rotating seat like this sounds like a lot of fun to me. That's not to say that the zacspin style rides would not be fun.
  17. ^^ my thoughts exactly. Also a inline twist would be interesting. But I like the concept as it is. Even the " boomerang" aspect of this concept could be pretty fun to add to the actual product. In the concept from iaapa i can only see 2 car trains. Does anyone know if its possible to have longer trains?
  18. The photo above might show the colors a bit poor. The park has confirmed that the track will be orange. So it will look more like this:
  19. Nonsense, it has been repainted a couple of years ago. Only the track for elcondor will be repainted this time. From white to orange.
  20. First time is special enough, keep the good coasters for the next great experience.
  21. Looks awesome. And for once its a new park with a reasonable estimate of guest in the first year.
  22. It will stay green. From what I understand they will not repaint the track this season.
  23. That picture is a photoshop though Some pictures from the now allmost fully black goliath photos from walibis facebook page Facebook
  24. What an awesome park this is.
  25. Awesome news, Any new b&m dive machine is great news if you ask me. I have always thought gardaland was a great park that deserved some better coasters. Its good to know merlin agrees with me
