I don't see the problem with this. If I was terminally ill I'd probaly much rather die doing something I love (like riding a roller coaster) than let the disease get the best of me.

I never said wonderland was going for quantity. I was just trying to point out that allthough wonderland has a large number of rollercoasters. Its mostly the newer onces that realy put the park on the map for coaster enthousiast. And i expect cedar fair to continue in this fashion. Also i think paramount is mostly to blame for the less impressive additions. -

I think it's save to say that wonderland now has a quantity over quality thing going on. But with the additions of cedar fair I think this will slowly change over time. -

This building doesn't look high enough to house a decent sized coaster. But I'm pretty pleased if they would build a decent darkride. -

The backstory, It's a guy (the baron) who finds a piece of gold in an (old?) mine. Ghost appear in the mine and tell the dude not to take the gold, obviously he does take the gold. He then uses the gold to buy the entire piece of property on wich the mine is set. He starts a company to exploid the mine and look for more gold. Sadly he has enraged the ghosts by taking the gold, so all the mineworkers are plauged by ghosts and are to afraid to continue working for the baron. I gues now its the vistors turn to go look for the gold. The story will be told in the que line and preshow. So it's likely we can expect another awesome que the efteling has done with the flying dutch man. -

Sad news! I unexpectedly enjoyed this ride a lot. The firstdrop in the backrow is great! I also wonder if and how they are going to replace this. The entrance to the waterpark was always kind of hidden behind skyrider, maybe they can open up this area now. *In the video i noticed the last rides are planned for september. This could be well in time for a strart of a big construction. -
Vekoma Roller Coasters
julioot replied to kingdakacor's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Did you guys catch THIS news? Vekoma has included a new coaster design in their catalogs, the single car racing launch coaster is a small dueling family roller coaster. That launches 4 person cars at 60 km ph over a 450 to 460 meter long track. In other News: Vekoma had a loss of 2 million euros over 2013. While their sales volume went up from 47 to 80 million euro. -
I would be suprised if the white track will go the the efteling since it doesnt seem to fit the proposed theming. I also feel like the b&m factory almost deserves its own topic

Canada's Wonderland Touring Plan?
julioot replied to Normie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Allthough wonderland is generally very buisy during the summer. It would advice you to check out the crowd before buying fastlane. Wonderland is pretty managable with medium crowds. Hit the older smaller coaster first since usually a big crowd runs towards the bigger rides once the park opens. Later on the day lines for those rides usually decrease a bit.
