Slagharen Netherlands Discussion Thread

I'm sure we've all seen this video: Slagharen has told Looopings.com the amount of bookings for the 2017 season has increased because of the video that has gone viral worldwide. Ga trump! Make slagharen great again. -
Why are coaster enthusiasts weird?
julioot replied to DBru's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yes they/we are, I blame vekoma for giving most of us brain Injuries. -
Toverland Discussion Thread
julioot replied to turbolaaf's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Toverland has previously said that they are trying to attract a more diverse agegroup of visitors. So I'm not sure if height restrictions are that much of an issue to them. Besides that, Dutch people are considered as some of the tallest on earth. -
The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread

Bobbejaanland still has one to. I don't think this model needs a reboot, it's a pointless ride. The seeting arrangement is actually kind of cool though. -
Efteling Discussion Thread
julioot replied to Pepper's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually the rumor is that they are completley replacing all the track with the exception of the station and lifthill. If you ask me it's wasted money. But I gues it's sort of cool that they are preserving this classic for the future... -
Toverland Discussion Thread
julioot replied to turbolaaf's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
What happened before? I'm just curious, since I loved my visit there, with TPR in 2008. TROY! Toverland released a couple of plans for expansion on wich they didn't follow through. Most famous I think is the proposed water coaster that should have gone behind the boosterbike rollercoaster, where they now seem to plan a future front gate. -
Energylandia Park Discussion Thread

^^ I'm skeptical to the idea that they would actually leave the final decision on a multi-million euro investment in the hands of a facebook post. I gues we'll see what happens. -

Efteling Discussion Thread

This story is a hoax, there's no mention of plans for an attack on the efteling anywhere in the official police report. But obviously any themepark could be a subject of a attack. -
Slagharen Netherlands Discussion Thread

It's a fairly small park, I don't think capacity will be that much of an issue. The old schwarzkopf has been running with 1 train for years. Screw the fanboys, this ride looks fun and I think it will be a great fit for the park! -

Just announced: Launched gerstlauer Infinity coaster. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Source -
I have also thought of this before. But I don't think the amount of time saved will be substantial enough to make a investment like this valid on the coaster this size.

Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread
julioot replied to BDG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Strange you would post that, it seems similar to behemoth/leviathan posts. I think this is a solid addition to the park, the waterpark needs less outdated slides and the "airwolf" is an amaizing suprise. I'm not to sure on how reliable this ride would be in a park, from what I can remember from the traveling version is that it was down a lot. -

Why do you have to post the same bullshit post in 3 different topics??? -
I actually agree with you, the layout of the rides are pretty cool! I'd love to see an updated version with the new vekoma track. But on the other hand, we allready have over 30 worldwide so maybe it's time for a complete new design.

Walibi Holland Discussion Thread
julioot replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have never used fastlane at walibi Holland. But from what i understand, it's basically disneys fastpass system but instead of using physicall tickets you use an app on your smartphone. The bronze package will give you no shorter wait, but silver and gold will decrease your waiting time up to 90%. Walibi is only realy buisy during Halloween, so I don't think you even need the fastlane. Oh and they sell aspirin at the front store on the mainstreet incase you decide to ride condor. -

I'd say even in case of bad maintenance, wheel assemblys shouldn't just ripp of (notice that this ride wasn't that old). If that's in face the cause of the crash.
