I don't own RockBand. But I probably will buy just the game once I get Guitar Hero World Tour. -
Guitar Hero World tour Vs. Rock Band 2

Just the fact that Guitar Hero has a 30 Seconds to Mars song sold me. -

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
chemical_echo replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Manhattan Express at New York New York. Last car, last row. Not exactly sure where all the rough complaints come from. I had my hands up the entire time and thought the ride was fine. I've been on MUCH MUCH rougher coasters than this. -
It's a Hannah Montana costume my friends and I found in Walt Disney World. We are unsure if the costume is for a (ugly) little girl wanting to dress up as Hannah Montana, or for a (confused) little boy that wants to cross dress as Hannah Montana. The store clerks also did not know.

Roman "Disneyland" Park planned
chemical_echo replied to mcjaco's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
"Hey, lets go to a theme park so we can see what Rome was like while we're in Rome." Fixed. Somehow I think ancient Rome was just a wee bit different than modern Rome. -
I remember seeing the Appliance Direct commercial non stop when i stayed off Disney property a few years ago in Florida. I have to wonder what's so good about appliances from Cleveland though. Am I missing something? nay, I can see why you don't like that commercial. The guy singing was bad enough, but when the girl's started I contemplated shooting myself. Anyway, for me, the worst ads are for Oliver Jewelry. If you don't know what I'm talking about look up Russel Oliver (or his alter ego, Cash Man)

The Official TPR "East Coast/Behemoth Trip" Update
chemical_echo replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great pictures, I wish I could have made it out for the event. Maybe next year, if it happens again. BTW, some coasters at the park used to have single rider lines (BSC, Time Warp, and Behemoth) but people, for reasons I can't comprehend, actually complained about them. I knew a few people that worked on Italian Job in it's first season and they told me that got a lot of complaints about how groups of people would be angry that single riders got to go on before them and wait less time. Time Warp still has theirs, and I believe it's still used, but I never see anyone in it. -
What a small poutine... When you have a great Canadian meal like a poutine; the bigger, the more heart clogging, the better. Hmm...maybe thats why my doctor said my cholesterol was a little higher than it should be for a 22yr old...

Glad to see it's finally official. Should be nice to get some ERT that day since it's a holiday and might end up being a little busier than normal. I have one question though... I have a free admission pass I had gotten from volunteering at the park on Math and Physics day. Can I use this for my admission and just pay the $35 option?

Theme Park Engagements/Weddings
chemical_echo replied to StormFreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
One of the first times I went to Darien Lake, an entire wedding party got on Mind Eraser just as I had gotten off. Bride and Groom in the front, and the rest in the following seats. It was pretty funny watching the bride trying to keep her legs crossed so her dress wouldn't accidentally give people a peek. When I worked at Xtreme Skyflyer at Canada's Wonderland there was a small wedding ceremony. The wedding took place on the platform, and when they were done, the bride and groom took their first flight together. -
The Community Days On-Going Photo Trip Report
chemical_echo replied to Ccron10's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
So, you're going to glue the pieces together and then sell it on eBay? How do you plan on shipping a 36ft tall and 50ft long K'nex coaster that's been glued together? You might want to re-think that plan. -
I did a search and couldn't find anything, so I'm starting this one. There's a July 4th thread, so here's the one for us Canadians on the boards. Happy Canada Day everyone! Hope you have a great day celebrating our country and heritage. Post if you have any special plans, or just post something that you love about Canada.

Dear God, yes. Canada Day, especially when the weather is beautiful, is one of the park's busiest days. Pretty much everyone has the day off and flocks to the park to see the fireworks. Also, have fun leaving the park once it's all over. It once took me over 30min just to leave the employee exit road (should not take more than 30sec). The main exit road is probably much worse.

Geauga Lake Discussion Thread

This is turning into a bigger conspiracy than the moon landing. Did Cedar Fair offer the ride for free? Who knows. Did ACE decline it if they did? Maybe. -
S&S Sansei Discussion Thread
chemical_echo replied to Coaster Joe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If they could find a way to release those cars on the side at a low slow point, so they can continue down a log flume ride, that would be awesome. I mean, the cars already look like they belong in a log flume already. The empty Eagle carrier would just continue on to a station where two boats are already waiting, attach them, and go on out. With enough boats, it could help capacity out, as long as the coaster part isn't too long. That would probably be a maintenance nightmare though.
