  1. Its....so....beautiful! I can't wait to see some footage of the Battlestar coasters dueling at full speed. Defiantely looks like the best new coasters of 2010 in my book, and I can't wait to put a China trip together if I ever get the fundage...
  2. I'm thinking that it might be an indoor-outdoor slide, with the start and splashpool inside. Since its enclosed, it wont matter if it just goes out and around the waterpark then comes back in.
  3. The Loopboggan doesnt look THAT bad. Granted, the brakes after the loop would probabbly have to be way to forceful to safely make it back to the station, but I'm from the land of SoB. I think I can take it...
  4. ^^Are you talking about the bottom 1/3? I think it looks aesthetically pleasing with the gray down there and not green. Either way, card looks quite epic indeed! I'll definately end up buying one once we get all the club details worked out...
  5. That would be AMAZING if we could start to attend those events. I live in Cincinnati, and go to college in Bowling Green Ohio, so I'm no less than 2-3 hours away from any of those parks at any given time. Not to mention that CP has become my "home away from home" park while I'm at school.
  6. ......Really, JZ? Anyways - Favorite new coaster Phoenix at Knoebels, hands down. But if we're just saying stuff thats new this decade, Maverick - Favorite new ride Crypt at KI when it ran a GOOD cycle. - Favorite new park This ones kind of hard. The best new experience I went to over the decade was definately Knoebels, but thats not really a new park...On the other hand, Strickers Grove was really a suprise to me and SFStL was a memorable trip. - Most memorable coaster moment Getting off of Phoenix for the first time and realising I would never view airtime or wooden coasters the same way again. - Best ERT session For lack of ERT experience, Im gonna go with Maverick x3 and Millenium Force in an hour. - Least favorite coaster Son of Beast - Least favorite park I don't really see parks as bad unless I can't find anything to entertain myself with. That being said, the only reason I go to Kings Island anymore is to ride Diamondback and Firehawk.....and Vortex I guess - Most interesting ride you've seen introduced Anything by Pax. - Your favorite TPR moment (favorite post, trip report, video, whatever!) TPR showing up to Coney Island (Cincy) for their unanounced bonus park when I was working the coaster. Best suprise ever, and I got to meet alot of the TPR celebrities - The decade's biggest flop Son of Beast - The best meal you've had at a park Skyline at Kings Island or Coney Island Cincy. - What was the biggest trend of this past decade? B&M and Intamin going EVERYWHERE. But props to the other awesome designers like Pax and Gerstueler
  7. I love Pax...They've made so many crazy-awesome coasters like the wild train and their crazy wild mouse, and now this? Verticle pullback, airtime(?) hills, a loop, and a crazy inverted hang time reversal point...It looked awesome enough on paper, but now that I've seen the animation it looks the the most epic shuttle EVER! Pax makes me happy. I really wsish we had one of these in the states....
  8. The link's not working for me either, but.... Cincinnati, OH. Home of Diamondback, Coney Island, and the Jizz Man+all the other Cincy members that people on TPR remember
  9. 1. What are your initial thoughts? I feel a little uneasy. Its great that TPR continues to come up with great ideas, but I feel this may start to slowly turn TPR into a pay site. One of the things that brought me here in the first place is that it was a free site with so much to offer. Not that I'm saying pay sites are bad, I'm just a Jew that avoids spending money online (though I have bought a DVD and Hoodie in the store...) I know this is optional, but with all the perks, I'm sure as many people as possible would make the change if given a choice. 2. Can you think of anything else we could be offering? On top of my head, no. Unless there was any way we could get discounts on TPR trips or something... 3. Is this something that interests you? YES. I'm loving the exclusive trip since I always miss out on the normal TPR ones due to funding issues and lack of planning before they get filled up. Also exclusive info for park events and such is always a good thing. 4. Why would you NOT be interested in this? The priority on TPR trip seating. Since those things fill up so fast and Premium members get their own trip anyways, it seems unessesary to hog the spots before people that save money for these things all year can even get a shot. I'm sure that there will be atleast 55 that make the premium change, and if they always take priority then there really wont be any new members making any trips... 5. Any additional feedback you can give us based on the information you see here. Not really.
  10. Yeah.... If you hadn't already guessed it, I'm kind of gonna drop out. I was too busy with my unpredictedly huge work load at school, and by the time I got out I had little to no time to get to work on anything near impressive enough to submit. I had this awesome idea for a wild west park featuring a massive wooden dueler, an interactive dark ride, and other stuff, but no time to make it unless I wasted to bs the park
  11. I've been meaning to do this for a while..... 1337'th post! .....that is all
  12. ^^^Beat me to it. I love how we wore those to the press release and actually got recognized as a club because of that! I still wear mine all the time, but its starting to fade.
  13. Looks very nice so far. Were those Intamin wood trains custom? Anyways, I expect good things from this. Can't wait to see what you do next.
  14. Theres definately a slight offset in the duel. I can see this being one of two reasons: 1. Blue train needs to go faster to make it through those inversions and the red one's being marketed as a family coaster 2. Testing lift speeds to synch them, and all will be better soon. Anyways, new sexiness. I want it
  15. ^So...DON'T give the park booze and beads? Anyways, the concepts look AMAZING if they actually go through with it. I'm still waiting on the Deadpool live action show. Witty insane mercenary of invincible doom for everybody!
  16. I've actually seen those toilet cart thingies years ago at some bar mitzvah party I went to. Anyways, I DEMAND IN DEPTH INFO ON THE ROLLERCOASTER MUSEUM! ....and mini pancake bar
  17. Yay rollercoaster museum!! Looks a little bland on the outside (aside from the entrance of DOOM!!!!!....and tacos) I assume that this is just a sketch and the finished product will be more asthetically pleasing...Do we know where it's going to be built?
  18. This place is amazing. The lazy river queu reminds me of Schlitterbahn, thought master blaster system is a bit of an upgrade from that. The park itself might be one of the nicest looking waterpark's I've ever seen, and the addition of those fury slides next year looks quite epic. Deffinately a place I'll have to go if I ever get the money/resources to do a Dubai trip.
  19. Some thoughts on IAAPA so far: *Those Tantrum slides going to Dubai look epic! Multi-bowl/tornado spots on the same slides that potentially race? *Moser topspin. I want one *PAX: I love those crazy looking coasters. How are they? I'd love to see one in the states, maybe getting a mouse or something for a small park (ie Coney Island OH) *B&M/Intamin: I think their booths have been small for the last few years because they don't usually have anything new. Both of those companies have set models that are tried and true, and have no reason to branch out with anything new. *Timberjiner trains: The sex. I was a little hesitant about seeing them on Voyage before, but they look REALLY minimalistic. Robb/Hanno, did you try them out? The one thing I'm concerned with is that they might staple and ruin Voyage's fantastic airtime. *Pancakes: NEED MORE IN DEPTH REPORTS!!!!1!one
  20. Sexy. This is one of those rides that makes me wish I wasn't so cheap and Jewish and could acutally afford NL. Will you be making a POV vid of it once it's done?
  21. Bumper cars in the dark with the crazy rave party effects on it? That sounds both insane and awesome! I have to agree though, its this kind of stuff that makes the ride an ENTIRELY different experience. I found Cosmotron at Knoebels to be one of my favorite flats of all time, and that just a pimped out himilaya. Its completely blacked out with a disco ball, fog machines, strobe lights, and ofcourse a musical track blasting in your ears the entire ride. Pure insanity, and I love every second of it.
  22. I want this. NOW! Too bad I'm poor and stuck in Ohio. All I have to go off of is the epicness of Maverick and Diamondback...
  23. I think they started construction so slow because of its location. During the haunt, one of the mazes (also the best one), went all over Millenium island and near the proposed site I think.
  24. My brain continues to hurt from just looking at the format, even after years of going over it and the guide
