  2. Family Guy What's your favorite day of the year?
  3. ^I'll trade you places! We ended up getting about 8 inches.
  4. Whoa whoa whoa!!! Hold up!!!... Gainesville has a Whataburger!? How did I miss this? I thought they were only a western thing? Either way, that's awesome! Anyway, great TR so far Julie.
  5. I'm one of the few enthusiasts that truly loves this ride. I think most of us have a hard time understanding that the coaster wasn't built to be a thrilling ride that has theming. It's like riding Tomb Raider and saying "that Top Spin really sucked" without taking any consideration into the fact that the program was based around the theming. Italian Job is a coaster that was built around the theming. I went in expecting nothing and I loved it. If you can get into the theming, then it's a blast in my opinion. And the coaster by itself is just a lot of fun. The quick turns, jukes, and dives this thing does (sometimes in the dark) make it a great ride. I'll admit that when I first heard about this thing, I wasn't too happy, but I think it's a great addition to any park that gets it now.
  6. That really blows Wally. Though she let you down, at least she only gets mad at you because SHE wanted to get the item for you. My last girlfriend got mad at me when I bought something for myself because she thought I should be spending the money on her! Then again, there wasn't much that she didn't criticize me for.
  7. ^I'm pretty sure he was using a figure of speech, not actually referring to the accident.
  8. "Is it just me or is rap music getting lazier?"
  9. "Wait, Wait, Wait" by The Format
  10. -The big drop on Cyclops. Sheer insanity. -The double-down on the Jack Rabbit. Completely awesome. -The drop from Texas Giant's mid-course brakes, particularly in the back seat
  11. Julie! You're alive! I was convinced you dropped off the face of the Earth after not seeing you on the site for so long! This should be a sign to all Floridians which school is the TRUE university of the state of Florida. As you near Florida, the sky turns blue and orange. Go Gators!
  12. Well, though the question is a little different, most people posted more than ten video games on this thread: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=870&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc& But, for the sake that it is a little different, I'll post mine... in no particular order. 1. Golden Eye (N64) 2. Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball (SNES) 3. Cart Racing (PC) 4. Monster Truck Madness (PC) 5. Metal Gear Solid (PS1) 6. NCAA Football 2005 (PS2) 7. NHL 2004 (PS2) 8. Cart World Series (PS1) 9. Mario Kart (SNES) 10. Any of the Gran Turismos 11. Tecmo NBA Basketball (NES) 12. Bases Loaded (NES) 13. Winning Eleven 8 (PS2) 14. Driver (PS1) 15. Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (really feel kind of stupid for initially leaving this out) Yeah, 10 is just too difficult.
  13. ^That would be the Texas Tornado at Wonderland Amusement, unless Adventureland got them for their's as well.
  14. No When you're lost, do you ask for directions?
  15. What he said.
  16. "Yeah, well, you're hogging all the ugly!"
  17. Are you talking about the day they filmed at the Beech Bend announcement, and for Holiday World? This is sort of a broad question.
  18. Here are my two pets... My cat named Kitty. I'm very original. I couldn't think of a name and I always wanted to say "Here kitty", so I just call it Kitty. This is Brandy, the two-legged poodle.
  19. I remember going to the spot where he was killed when I was in NYC a few years ago. They have guards, and it's really strange. You're not allowed to stand on the sidewalk there. If I had a scanner, I would post the picture.
  20. Yes, I love them! Do you like seafood?
  21. Yeah, umm, mark me down for a seat on that! Seriously though, I might have to do that instead of Japan. If it's shorter then it would probably be financially easier and the time would work better. Who knows though! I might not be able to do anything depending on internships and all that junk! Of course, I'm also getting hopes up about something that is almost two years away.
  22. I've met a couple: My good friend Bryan (TheGreatOne) and I during a road trip this summer. And no, I have no idea what is going on with my face. It was the end of our week long journey. Julie and I on the Beech Bend Wild Mouse. The trio on the right consists of Matt (MattyboiTN), Julie (USRoadTripper), and Ross (Hilltopper39). We all had a pretty good time at the Beech Bend announcement.
  23. Yeah, I was thinking that but SFMM isn't on daily operation yet. I think I'm going to bypass Solace and go a couple weeks later in the month when SFMM is on daily operation. Thanks for the help everybody. -Scott "Doing a really big cross country trek" Parrish
  24. X-Flight and any other Vekoma flyer- While they don't "fly" as much as the B&M's, I like this ride much better for all the weird, unnatural things it does. Be constantly flipped from flying to lying, especially in the middle of turns, is so disorienting and crazy to me. No disrespect to the SUFs, but after the pretzel loop, the ride is just meh. X-Flight never seems to let up in my opinion.
  25. Hey Robb, I saw a commercial last night for the Video Game Awards. I don't know if these have already happened and just haven't been broadcasted yet or not, but they showed a short clip of Carson Daly saying that he thinks Call of Duty 2 should win the game of the year. Despite being Carson Daly, I thought it was pretty cool. Just wanted to say good luck with the awards.
