^ What is a future structural engineer doing learning about brakes? Our stuff is not supposed to be moving. If a faster train is being slowed by a higher percentage than a slower train, won't the speed that they leave the brakes be closer than when they enter the brakes? -

I don't think any of us preferred Silver Star over EGF,. I have to say I preferred silver star to EGF in one respect. On SS, while sitting in the station, I was not blinded by the sun. That is all. -

I know this isn't what you meant, but our button (the horn perhaps) unfortunately did not work. -

^It was someone from holiday park (I believe) who was using the helmet to get POV footage. There is a camera within the helmet. -

I had a great time during this ERT. I rode EVERY SINGLE ride of ERT despite Mel and Kristie trying to get me out of my seat. I forgot to count how many laps I got, but I know it was well over 20. Still not sure if it is number one or a very very very close number 2, but I can guarantee it wicked awesome. Other highlights of this park: FUn rapids ride where we got crunched and Stefan yelled at them in German and they let us go in front of them. The star flyer even if I was forced to take my glasses off (boo) Satan's flume ride. Cute EGF ride ops. VERY cute drop tower ride op. Super Gerbils. EXTRA EXTRA Exclusive Ride Time. Thank you Holiday Park. -
Was the title fairy neutered in some ride accident? Perhaps a standup flooress drop tower?

Aww thanks for tagging along scuba duck along on your NYC adventures. I admit, I do not care what the Rock is cooking, I care what his cousin "Toa" on American Idol is cooking, but it was nice of him to partake in Big Mike Mania. How many shirts did you bring with you? You had more costume changes than a Cher concert. Not that I've ever been to a Cher concert or even like her all that much, but, you get the point.

The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread
Moose replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If this rumor is true, it is a much better idea than the rumored, fun, but ultra low capacity for a disney park rethemed Crush's coaster clone. -

I think the reason we were all let down with Mammut was that noone on the trip had ridden it before so we really had no idea what to expect. It was much much better than Pegasus, Efteling's family coaster. And the track itself was actually very pretty. I am sure it will be even more beautiful when it is as well landscaped as the rest of the park. Forget about boobs, this park had good German wine AND RUBBER DUCKIES!!!!! -

The service from the beer vending machine was far better than the dragon bar, and you could actually get food as well. I didn't know anyone got my picture on the zip line. Funny little story about that. There are two of them at this park. Aparently one of them didnt like me or I was too fat or something. The other was just fine. Those playground rides were an absolute blast. I do not think I have ever spun so fast as on the teacup one, spooked horses be damned. Who rides horses in a playground anyway? -

How could it possibly be someone's fault if they do not know about a preexisting condition. Any of us could have something wrong with us that we do not know about. I hope this girl tuns out ok. It is not normal for 12 year olds to have heart attacks. -

Damn it Chuck, you caught me. Actually, I had no idea who built Zeus, and only knew Troy because of hearing about GCI Chris. I am such a bad coaster geek. -
What would rides be like on the moon?

Thankyou thankyou thankyou. ^The world may be ending, but the moon will live on. Long live coasters... on the moon. -

Just to prove there is not blind adoration for Colossos even amongst trip participants, it was my third place woodie from the trip after Troy and TdZeus. -

^Ahem. I gave you advice to go for the waffle and not other park "food." I loved Bobbejaanland, even if it had a vendetta to get me soaked. You managed to capture the spirit of this park fairly well. -

He does seem to be the only one actually enjoying the ride. I am sure the audio of Robb's Onride will be a classic. Ow ow ow ow ow Wheeee! ow ow ow ow ow. Seriously I think there was one Wheee! moment on the entire ride and we all said whee at the same time. Also some more positives about this park... double cycle topspin. Awesomely themed rapids, even if the theming was sort of wtf. Poor overly hung (???) Divv. -
Boo walmart. But I still shop there but only at odd hours so it will be deserted. I like Saturday Morning myself, the earlier the better. I will not go at other times, it is simply too traumatic. Crowds at Walmart scare me. Fun trip report.

I wish Toverland was around the corner from me. That picture of Larry would be great, but his shirt has sleeves. It must be a Larry imposter. Big Mike Perhaps? I cannot believe you got the picture of me trying to abscond with the Horse. I was posing for Elissa, and somehow you also got the pic. You are amazing Hanno. -

Great report Chuck. The Walibi waffles were also a great way to avoid getting French Crunched (AKA Belgium Waffled) while attempting to get food. I made the mistake of getting a "burger" instead. Yes, the quotes are really really needed. -

And by that you mean completely readjusted your back by smacking you around? It was painful to watch I cannot imagine how it felt. Great pictures as always. All the expressions on typhoon are fantastic. -
^ You are a brave brave man.

^That ride was suprisingly brutal. I thought for sure I had crushed poor Ron as we came into the brakes.
