  1. What was the song? It kind of threw me off in the beginning because the distorted notes in the beginning sounded like raining blood by Slayer, and I am 99% sure the song was by Slayer, but I dont know the song. The ride itself was pretty fun, especially the crazy ejector airtime after the launch after the back. My only realy complaint was the transition after the immelmanish twist. It was weird to come out of the element still at an angle and then twist the other way, its just not particularly realistic. The only other issues were the final element was a bit rought, and the helix had a mini pump, but overall it was solid.
  2. I knew you said it would be, but YAY, finally a video on TPR with awesome music. I love Rob Zombie, cant wait to see him this summer at mayhem!
  3. Actually a pretty cool ride concept, especially considering this ride is a much cooler and better version of Superman at SFMM, and I loved the PAX cobra (or at least im guessing) hangtime at the top of the vertical section. My only complaint is that you seemed to come into the station slightly too quickly, but the ride itself was quite good, especially if it was really made in an hour.
  4. ^^ Congrats on winning. Also, CoasterTaco, that zero g picture early in the report was awesome. It is rare to see a picture that gives perspective of how tight and insane that inversion really is, awesome report.
  5. Would you be Impressed- Streetlight Manifesto next on my list Linolium- Originally by NOFX, but I am listening to a Streetlight mix CD, which is 99 songs of revolution mixed with a few other songs I like.
  6. I am assuming you were on the Goliath tour with us, so hey cause I didnt say hey to anyone on the tour because I was too busy taking really rare pictures. The Goliath drop shot was the only shot everyone got on our Goliath tour, and I am now jealous because your shot turned out so much better than mine. This TR was really good though, and the shots were very impressive.
  7. Not a Deja Vu fan here, but it will be a good addition. I love the vertical drop, but the cobra roll gives me a major headache, but it is popular enough with the GP to make this a good fit.
  8. Wow, I have never seen space have more than a 2 hour line besides on a national holiday, like July 4th. Disneyland is easy if you know how to fastpass. I dont really go to parks alone, but my friend is a "enthusiast" meaning he does not know anytying about who built rides and stuff like that, but he is always willing to go to the parks. I was going to go to WCB on my own, but my friend tagged along and we each had a totally amazing time.
  9. LMAO! That picture is soooo funny. I love how Robb is proposing to Elissa(who is floating thanks to the removal of the support) on a deserted island.
  10. Dave is gonna love this. That was epic, and so bad ass and so original that I am speechless. Hell yeah, you slayed a dragon with a pen. The This pen is mightier than the sword Ghost
  11. ^ Thats a good point, I didnt think of height requirement as a factor. Supreme Scream is much taller and much more Intimidating than Maliboomer. Is the program on this changable though? If so I can imagine a double shot to be more succesful or the tripple thrill tower where you have a space shot, like maliboomer is now, a drop tower like supreme scream, and a space/double shot. I will be going to the park next Friday, so I'll see if I can take some pictures around the area and see if they are getting ready. If I remember to do so I will get some pictures of all the construction in the area, especially around this area and see if they are doing anything very early in preperation for its departure. It's weird, but the removal of this and the fountain at the front means all of the suns are gone besides the mural on screaming. It's kind of sad, I thought the sun was a good boardwalk icon as the sun reminds me of the summer, and I still liked the old sun on the ferris wheel, not as much as I like Mickey, but I still did like the sun.
  12. Looks awesome, Teller. I am very happy you are back as this was the original park that got me into NE and creating super themed parks. You are still one of my favorite designers ever.
  13. I like many others am a much bigger tower fan than a maliboomer fan. Also, I do not see this doing well at SFMM simply because it never did very well at DCA. I have never waited for more than 20 minutes for Maliboomer, and I have been an AP for quite a while, so park visits are pretty frequent. Also, for those complaining about the removal of the Maliboomer, it just does not make sense with the Victorian themed boardwalk. You have the beautiful new games of the boardwalk as well as Toy Story Mania, the staple of all boardwalks, which is the ferris wheel, and the boardwalk roller coaster which is screamin. Those are all boardwalk staples, and a crappy S&S tower fits just about as well as the giant orange used to fit. Also, at some point a parachute tower will be added, which would be awesome as I have very fond memories of the one that used to be at Knotts.
  14. ^^ It was my friend named Trevor, he posts as RHCPfan1, but he never posts here, and he no longer listens to the Chilli Peppers. We all rocked out to 99 songs of revolution on the way there. I like that shirt though, its like a soldier or some guy who looks like a shoulder leaning on a streetlight. I originally pretty much bought it for such great heights since it was the only song I already knew, but the cd has totally grown on me in every way.
  15. It's not too bad, I just did not find it particularly exciting. It did not have the normal GCI transitions that throw you around your seat. Also, there was like zero air time. The track itself was pretty fun though, just not really very GCIish IMO. There were a few pumps here and there, but nothing to complain about. I'd probably give it an 8/10, although if the track was a little crazier it would be a 9/10!
  16. I hate the Tornado, it never seems to spin nearly as much as I want it to. Its an okay ride, but give me an orbiter any day, that thing is fast and forceful as hell, but good fun.
  17. What about an Avatar themed Intamin wingrider flying on top of that giant red thing? Of course it would also work with a B&M flyer, but the red things a little too much like a dragon to make it not seem like Tatsu. Also, I am still waiting for a ratatouille themed wild mouse, but something like Scooby Do in Australia as opposed to a standard mouse. That would be awesome. ^^ Good one.
  18. ^ LMAO! Also, do they really think anyone is going to go to an amusement park and then randomly say "Lets go bowling?" It might be a fun one time thing for a season pass holder, but thats just a weird, and imo a kind of stupid idea. Nice TR though, I love the El Torro picture, you can see the reactions of people experiencing "Intamin goodness."
  19. I fail so hard. I meant sharktopus is supposedly in production, but I got it confused with dinoshark. ^ That miniature golf course looks terrible, however your captions are reallllly funny.
  20. ^^ For now thats all we have to go with, especially as it fits what was said before. Holy crap though, a seat falling off. I doubt we'll see more of these after this, that is a pretty much guaranteed fatality if it were not testing, and thank god it was just during testing. A seat falling off... I can literally not think of a worse thing happening besides a high speed collision.
  21. OMG! That is damn scary. ^ I agree, thats a major issue, especially considering this is a prototype for Vekoma and the parks headliner. Anyone know whether it was Cylon or Human that this happened?
  22. This is like a B&M version of the recently defunct BBW! I love the interaction with everything.
  23. ^^ Lol, you guys are approachable, but Urso's a huge, bearded man... just kidding. I love the show though, I will say hey next year.
  24. That ride was pretty fun... until the launch. It made the ride get sooo much more pumpy, especially in the back seat. On a positive side, the airtime was redoncoulasly awesome, it rode like an Intamin plug n play. It also wasn't crazy pumpy, and it was an all in all pretty original ride.
  25. ^ Same. There was a one train wait for the very back seat, but every other car was a wal on. Of course, we only rode one time as we went on earlier.
